The lobster on the plate has a bright red color, paired with vegetables and garnished with cilantro, which is very appetizing.

After one lunch visit here this past Thursday, we already know we'll come back. Lovely, clean and tastefully decorated restaurant! Very nice and friendly servers Shu and Cici. Best of all, the food is A+: Curry Beef, Sautéed Green Beans, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and Baked Soft Shell Crab. Huge servings and all amazing! Just wish the ventilation was better (like at Weera Thai in the same Shanghai Plaza location) because there was a strong smell of food on our clothes when we left. But this will not discourage us from returning to Sinh Sinh Bistro, which has quickly become one of our new favorite restaurants! In the summertime, I really hope they will consider putting shades on the large windows (on the end side which was all windows from the ceiling and end to end) because I remember when this restaurant used to be Banana Leaf, it was just uncomfortably and unpleasantly too bright when it's sunny and hot outside. Thank you also to friendly restaurant manager Kelly! Can't wait to return here to dine in again or pick up takeout. Impressed!

My mom wanted 85 cafe but I was hungry for some food food. So I saw this place had taken over the Banana Leaf restaurant and after reading some yelp reviews we decided to give this place a try. It's mostly Vietnamese dishes with some Chinese dishes sprinkled in. We got the shrimp summer rolls, the pepper steak with "French fried" rice and the pork noodle dish. The dip for the summer rolls wasn't as peanuty as I'm used to but it was still tasty. The steak pieces were so tender but there was way too much pepper and it was a bit too salty. Even eating it with the rice, it was a bit too much. I couldn't eat more than a few pieces of steak, what a shame bcs the meat was so tender. So I originally wanted a pork chop but I didn't want the rice, I wanted the rice noodles. The server said oh we have this rice noodle bowl and it's the same thing. So I agreed to it. When the bowl came out, it was with slices of pork not the pork chop I originally wanted. Ummm sliced pork and pork chop are 2 totally different things. The sliced pork again was a bit too salty even mixed with the lettuce and noodles. I did like how they had the dipping fish sauce warmed up. We had a lot of food left over so we took that home to share with my nephew and niece. Would I return? Not really, everything was just too salty for my taste. If they put in less salt in the steak and pepper then I would totally return.

Sinh Sinh Bistro is a great addition to Shanghai Plaza. I've been here about five times since they opened. On my first visit, I ordered Rice with Grilled Pork and Fried Egg, and it was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend it. My friend ordered the Steak Tips with French Fried Rice, and I got to sample them. The steak was good, but it was the rice that made the dish excellent. For my drink, I ordered Vietnamese coffee, which was very strong. We also ordered a couple of appetizers to share: Creamy Walnut Shrimp and Vietnamese Style Salt Toasted Squid. One of the reasons we keep coming back here is that my friend has become addicted to their salt toasted squid. This is the only restaurant I've been to that serves this dish with rice, which is a huge plus (because, you know, rice is life). The walnut shrimp was good, but I found it a little too sweet for my taste, though my friend loved it. On my later visits, we brought other friends along and tried a few new items. Their pho was just okay. Their Salt Toasted Pork Chop was decent. Their Thai tea is pretty good; it has become my go-to drink. The service is great, the place is always clean, and the prices are reasonable. This place is a must-try!

Was feeling super hungry and wanted to eat something quick! Found this new spot, loved their soft shell crab. It was very crispy, flavorful! The beef cube curry was a little spicy, but overall tasty. I wish they gave more grilled pork! I think the food was slightly salty but still very good. Service was really fast, very attentive. Quiet restaurant, away from the noise outside!

Went here on a Friday for lunch, and it wasn't too crowded. The decor is bright, clean, and has Vietnamese music in the background. We were seated quickly and brought water and menus. We settled on Pho and spring rolls. The food was hot and fresh, and served quickly. The egg rolls were thicker than what I'm used to, but in a good way. The Pho broth is rich and hearty--frankly, I was surprised it was so tasty so early in the morning! It's good to see a Vietnamese ish place back in Shanghai Plaza. I say "ish" because it's not traditional, but I like it. Check it out!

Found this Gem a little ways off the strip, and let me tell you it's one of the best restaurants in Vegas. When I say you'll enjoy every single thing you try I mean it. Let's start off with the service. All the servers were friendly and super accommodating and the food came out very fast. Came here for a company dinner and they took care of us. When it comes to the food we tried the beef noodles, Kung pao chicken, pan fried noodles, honey walnut shrimp, soft shell crab, curry noodles, shrimp spring rolls, beef tips, spicy beef, and beef noodle soup. Overall Great place to eat family style. Everything was great, you honestly can't go wrong trying everything. My favorite was the soft shell crab and honey walnut shrimp. I would recommend this place to everyone. Best Asian restaurant I've ever been to. Definitely do yourself a favor and try out Sinh Sinh bistro, you won't forget it

This new restaurant is a MUST-TRY. No, I mean it. It's all going on here, casual posh ambience, the nicest staff in town and the most amazing food. It's a MUST-TRY. Oh yeah, said that already. The biggest, plumpest honey walnut shrimp in Las Vegas. Smoky tasty beef tips with French fried rice will melt in your mouth. Salt fried scallops that scream "fresh from the ocean". Tucked at the back of Shanghai Plaza, come one come all and tell your friends. They'll thank you.

This is my 3rd visit here and every time the food is delicious! The cuisine is Vietnamese/Chinese, very similar to Cantonese food (IMO). Their menu offers a nice variety of dishes (good for family style dining). Portions are generous! Just watching them bring dishes to other patrons, looked delicious. The food is prepared fresh and not overly seasoned or loaded with msg. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and they check on you often. Overall, the entire restaurant is small, but quaint and very clean! This will be one of my go-to spots whenever I come to Vegas!
