Simply The Best Catering

I just want to thank the wonderful staff and chefs at Simply The Best Catering for the assistance they gave our congregation during our 30th anniversary party. Over 150 people were served with a Best food ever and with a best service. It truly was a Happy event, and you helped make it so! I would recommend your catering company to anyone. Connie Kaufmann.

Everything went great with our employee's breakfast. Caterer's were on time and the food was good. Couldn't ask for another, what can I say, they are "The Best"!

I hosted a party in Las Vegas (at the Bellagio) and I used Simply The Best Catering. Smartest decision ever! The food was outstanding and all of guests (50+) raved about it! All of the ordering was done via phone and email because I live in California. Marie was awesome and the catering staff was prompt, professional and focused! I will definitely use them again if I ever have another Vegas event!

We're disappointed that we have to write this review about Simply the Best Catering, but unfortunately my wife and I were very upset by their catering service for our wedding reception.Let me start off first by saying that they were very responsive and helpful leading up to the wedding, answering our calls and working with us on our details. What they didn't mention to us was that their service is NOT all you can eat. It was never mentioned before the wedding and it was never clarified, because we had just assumed their services are AYCE because that is how it was advertised on their website and so that's how we advertised our food to our guests, that it was going to be buffet style. But it was not. We would later learn the next day that they only serve "Buffet style", meaning that there would be servers who give out PORTIONED items and that it was not all you can eat.I've attached a screenshot from their website from when we first viewed. Maybe I'm missing something, but there is no information that states the details about the number of items for food. Just "Buffet".So to give context, our wedding was this past February and while it was a beautiful wedding, the biggest issue came from Simply the Best. We had a total of 166 guests for our wedding reception and unfortunately, OUR LAST 4 TABLES did not have any meats/proteins left from the "buffet line". So almost 40 people were left without food. Our wedding caterer informed us what had happened during the wedding, so we scrambled to serve the remaining appetizers from our cocktail hour and one of our bridesmaids helped us to make sure that our remaining guests had eaten. So Simply the Best complied and they ordered catering from El Pollo Loco. But the order also took another hour to arrive and our guests were finally able to eat closer to the end of the evening.My wife was just visibly upset and we were honestly very embarrassed because those remaining four tables are some of our closest family friends and we wished they didn't have to get that experience. The worst part is when I called them the very next day to get answers and I was shocked when they didn't own up to their mistake and claimed that there were over 200 guests at the reception, hence why they ran out of food. I told them, we specifically had a vendor for chairs that reached only 166, so if we had 200, we definitely would have not had enough chairs for the reception. We also got confirmation from our wedding coordinator and our receptionists that we didn't even reach the full 166, so I again complained and asked why there was a shortage of food.They told me that we were mistaken and that their services did not mean AYCE, but only to be served in a buffet line. They had only prepared about 190 meats/protein, which still means that they should have proportioned correctly and so they also insinuated that our first initial tables must have brought multiple plates.2 things:1) Even if my guests had brought multiple plates to the buffet line, we had advertised our food as AYCE and we were never given the heads up from Simply the Best that this was not an AYCE service. ALSO, we had paid extra for the head count, because we initially were quoted for 150 and we bumped up our guest list to 166, so they were aware of the number of people.2) Regardless, even if they had 190 meats/proteins, that means their servers should have been made aware that they can only serve one protein per guest, which it seems like they weren't properly informed. If their servers had known, they would have had more than enough protein for each guest. But again, this shouldn't be an issue because our guests and my wife and I all came into the night, thinking that it would be a buffet. Anyways, I apologize for the long details about what happened, but we were just left disappointed by the catering service, for their company not taking ownership the following day and offering up excuses, and for leaving the reception right away, without talking to us or our wedding coordinator, to explain and apologize for what happened. A review that was a long time coming since we never received any compensation or apology afterwards, but this is still something that we feel really sad about looking back on and we wanted to inform future potential buyers to make sure what they're aware of if they hire Simply the Best.

I had Simply The Best Catering prepare a dinner buffet for my 70th birthday party this past Friday. Stephanie and the staff arrived on time, the food was beautifully presented and tasted even better. The bartender even asked for the name of the caterer. Everyone raved about the meal, from the appetizers to the dessert. I can wholeheartedly recommend Simply The Best Catering for any event. Amazing company ! The chefs are very professional and organized . The whole staff was very friendly and polite. I ordered the taco bar for my graduation party and it was awesome. The food was amazing ! Cooked and seasoned well , and when it arrived if was all at the perfect temperature. I will definitely be ordering from this business again
