I absolutely love this place, it's one of me and my Mom's favorite food spots. The food is not only amazing, but they also serve really decent sized portions as well. 5/5 stars

Went for lunch and it was pretty empty for noon on a Saturday.Ordered c3 pork rice dish with a side of shrimp paste wrapped in tofu. And a chicken curry with baguette. The shrimp paste wrapped in tofu was amazing and tasted so fresh. Their rice dish was on point, definitely getting both again. The chicken in the chicken curry was very soft and pulled apart very easily. Very flavorful. Baguette was soft, the outer layer was crisp but still tender. Would highly recommend it.Bought shrimp spring rolls, the wrapper is a little chewy but the basil flavor was nice. Also bought Banh mi to go, but unfortunately completely forgot to take it out. Left it at the restaurant so couldn't try it. It was in a small box.Thai tea was refreshing. Loved the fresh coconut.Definitely coming back, there's a lot of dishes I'll like to try.

I was craving some pho and this hit the spot! My gf got the beef and I got the chicken; hers was much better. My chicken was not flavorful and was over cooked.Ordered take out and said it would be 15 min. Got there in 20 and still had to wait but it's whatever. Will be back for more beef pho

This place has some amazing Pho!!! I've been craving a good Pho for the past few months! My husband and I decided to stop by Sidestreet Pho and Grill for lunch, around 11:00 A.M on a Saturday morning. Sidestreet Pho and Grill is located between Durango and Desert Inn Road. It's next to a few businesses such as Joy Burgers and Easy Life Boba. There is a spacious amount of parking spots available. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, a team member greeted us and walked us over to an open table near the window. There were only a few customers inside the restaurant at the time. Once we sat down, menus were provided. The interior is beautiful. The tables looked like they were of marble pattern. The bar area had some Buddha statues! We waited about 5 minutes and then one of the team members came over to our table to take our order. Chicken Pho (Large) ($17.00)Bahn Mi (Lemongrass Chicken) (Approx. $11.00)My Chicken Pho came out immediately!! I was in awe at how fast it was prepared! The beef broth with the chicken was so good! The chicken was tender and juicy! The chicken itself didn't have too much flavoring. The Broth was scrumptious, though! There were so many rice noodles in the large pho. My husband ended up finishing the meal for me!The Banh Mi came out about 10 minutes later. All of the ingredients were cooked fresh to order. The bread felt like it was just baked! The lemongrass chicken was tender and was packed with flavor! The Do Chua consisted of pickled carrots and daikon! There was also jalapeno, cilantro, cucumber, and mayo! My husband would order it again!Portions were large! The food was slightly expensive, but the food quality and quantity were totally worth it! I would stop by here again if I'm in the area and craving some Pho!

Fusion. I've never eaten such overly sweet Vietnamese dishes. So it feels like a fusion/mixed (extra sweet) Vietnamese food. For local Vegas, this place is considered really good just due to texture and taste being decent...just it may not match expectations of certain dishes. Your bun bo hue could taste like a sweet version of Thai Boran noodle soup. For LA/OC folks, it'll be a 2 star (if they are serious about their visit vs still on vacation mode when everything in life is great). But local Vegas doesn't offer much, so we take what we can get. Overall, this place offers many dishes. And these dishes seem tasty, if you're open to just eating whatever and not expecting the dish name to match. It'll be a weird experience. But it's not as bad as many other fusion, westernized, localized or even authentic looking places. There's a lot of local that visit this place. For Vegas, we'd normally give 2-3stars to pretty much all the local Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Chinese and Korean restaurants we've tried. But the 4 stars match Vegas standards. Sad but it just doesn't have to be horribly bad, needs to be consistent, decent clean to good quality ingredients, and is satisfying not by its name. I guess I'd almost call every place fusion cause I just can't understand which ingredients went wrong to taste so different. But the bun bo hue was still tasty if you just think of it as a Boran noodle soup (sweet). We'd order again the Bun Bo Hue. But knowing it's not an actually bun bo hue. Vegas locals have to take what you get....if crappy is what you get, then find the bright side of it haha $17.99 Bun Bo Hue. Felt like an almost endless amount of goodies! It's tasty, if you don't expect to be bun bo hue. It reminds me of Boran Thai noodle soup dish (a pretty sweet noodle soup), but with tons of bun bo hue goodies. We've been for pho. I guess it could pass? I wouldn't come back for pho unless I just didn't care that day, and wanted anything resembling it. $16.99 Stir fried beef chow fun. Didn't look like the menu photos but tasted okay? Because this offers fusion dishes, we thought we might as well try their beef chow fun. In hopes we could find a place that makes it decent...nope. Definitely do not get. $17.99 Curry Chicken. Very sweet curry. Reminds me of a fusion. Another dish that was super out of the ordinary for us, but we were curious. The SO really didn't like the rice dish's pork chop. I thought everything was decent with low expectations. It's alot better than many other places. This place is not on my disgruntled list to eat at....meaning, no matter how disgruntled I am about certain food scene, it's not on my go to list. Maybe I'll try their egg crepe instead? Still trying to figure out what's worth getting as fusion food haha

Sidestreet Pho and Grill is located in the same plaza as Vons. You can find this restaurant in the corner and across from the Pet Health Animal Hospital. My husband and I came here to meet a friend of ours and his girlfriend. They are locals and this is one of their favorite restaurants. We came on a Saturday night, around 7 pm. It wasn't too busy and we were able to get a table right away. After looking over the menu, we ended up ordering:P1, Make Your Own Pho, Large Size, $15.99 prior to tax- My husband ordered this with rare steak, flank and tendon. Portion size seems to be standard as other Vietnamese restaurants (definitely plenty to feed at least 2-3 people). I tried some of the broth and thought it was good (and then my husband added sriracha, which I didn't have anymore after that sip. I don't eat spicy foods). My husband enjoyed his meal and thought the meat was fine and so was the broth. C6 Com Bo Luc Lac (Shaking Beef Filet Mignon), $18.99 prior to tax- The flavor of the shaking beef was good. I liked that the beef was tender. The portion size was good and I liked the tomato flavored rice. I also liked the sliced cucumbers and tomatoes for added freshness (although I would have liked a few more cucumbers). This meal was pretty filling for me. --------------------------------(Total= $37.91 after tax, prior to tip)*Please note that there is a 3% surcharge if you pay with credit cardService was good and relatively quick. We didn't have to ask for our water glasses to be filled, which was nice. Most of our entrees from our table was brought out around the same time. Although one of our friend's curry chicken did take a little longer to come out. Our friends did order spring rolls and egg rolls for the table. I only had half of a spring roll (since each spring roll is served cut in half). I thought it was fine but think the roll could have been made a little tighter since it was coming apart while eating it. Overall, the food we had was pretty good and would consider coming back. The ladies restroom that I used during this visit was decently clean.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Combo Pho (P2) and a Make your Own Pho with tripe, brisket, and tendon (P1). The broth was great since it was clean and rich with just a hint of sweetness. They were quite generous with their protein that was tender. I enjoyed the tripe, brisket, and tendon but the SO didn't care for the meatballs. Both of us ordered a large and finished it with no problem so not sure if the serving size is a bit smaller than other locations. Service: 5/5 - quick to acknowledge us and let us pick our own seat in the restaurant. Once you're finished, you just pay at the counter. Ambiance: 5/5 - spacious restaurant that was filled quickly once it hit peak dinner time around 6:30 PM. Clean overall with a darker blue lighting. The bathroom is in the corner so you do feel like you're walking through their work area. Value for price: 4/5 - a little bit pricier than other locations with a 3% credit card surcharge.

The shrimp spring rolls were well balanced and refreshing and our favorite part of the meal. The soup was sweet from the meat and basil. The chili sauce on the side and jalapeños gave it a nice kick. The beansprouts on the side were nice and crispy. My Thai tea basic to me but boyfriend tried to steal it as sualyUsual boyfriend ate his chicken and shrimp and didn't read that the noodles were cold but ate it anyway, he did not like the sweet chili sauce on the side. The egg roll he said was okay but loved it after covering it with chili sauce.

We were treated immediately by a welcoming staff. We are relatively new to Vietnamese cuisine, so we had some questions. The staff was very patient and helpful with our questions. We started with the fried wontons with pork. Very delicious, I would definitely get them again. The table got 2 orders of the ribeye phó, and it was so delicious. It comes with a pot that has a burner to cook the ribeye to your desired level of doneness. I had the Yang chow fried rice, with shrimp. It was equally as good as the phó. We will definitely be back!
