I was so excited to see this finally open so my bf & I had to try it! We went on a Thursday, around 6 pm, and it was fairly empty inside so we were seated right away. There were so many options on the menu so we ordered multiple different sides but for the meat, we mainly stuck with the American Wagyu Chuck Ribeye. The meat was "melt in your mouth" status, so delish! The brisket & beef belly were good as well but that ribeye stole the show for us.For the soups, we went with Tom Yum & Sweet Soy. The tom yum was soooo good & I loved sipping it on the side with the udon & ribeye. I mainly used the sweet soy to cook the meat but I didn't prefer it overall. It's pricey but personally, I think it's worth it! Will definitely be back.

Came on two different occasions before I decided to write a review. First time we had a large group. I would not reccomend coming with more than a table of 4 as they do not accommodate larger groups that well (we had 9 + baby). My second time I just came with one other person. The price seems much for a small menu. There are better shabu places with similar prices, but broader menus. Could be just new...My second time I went during lunch. Their lunch price was NOT WORTH going for. It' was explained to us as A la carte after getting 10 pieces of meat. The broth options were pretty good until we came into the same problem someone else did where they just pour something different in it. It alters the taste. Service for us rather it was a group of 9 or 2 wasn't terrible. They did forget to bring stuff and we had to constantly ask for our things. Both occasions I went it was not busy at all. It was probably two or three tables (including ours). Dinner & lunch time.

I've been wanting to come to this restaurant for a while now. It was definitely a good idea on a cold day after church. There were no lines, in fact, it was empty. My husband and I were the only ones there. The food was pretty good. We stuck with the beef wagyu cuts and we both loved the ribeye. The Tom Yum soup base was great. It was not too spicy, and enough flavor to satisfy my tastebuds. The yuzu sauce did add a nice flavor to the meats after cooking them in the soup base. We tried a good number of items off their menu and most were pretty good. In terms of portions, most were served well. My main concern was the amount of carrots that came with my order. I was literally brought with just one slice of carrot, which I found weird. It was okay at that time, but it would be nice in the future to add at least a few more slices with one order of carrots. The steamed egg was okay, a bit salty to my liking, but it wasn't bad. The baked mussels, it was good, but it could have been baked a bit longer. It felt still pretty raw and chewy. The jelly cups at the end were a good idea. Most hot pot places have ice cream as their desserts and it's usually the same brand, so we opted to try something different. My husband got mango and I got lychee. It was pretty good and satisfying. The service was good. Our server was attentive and patient with us. The ambiance felt homey and the decor made it felt more like home. It felt like you could relax and read a book. The choice of music was great. It's not often you hear soothing c-pop/t-pop music. Overall, we enjoyed our first experience here.

We were so happy to have found this place! Honestly one of our new favorite places to come to lately. Inside is super clean and welcoming. The service is phenomenal with the wait staff always attentive. All you can eat wagyu is rare and for the price a steal. We got the miso broth and the Tom Yum broth. We love veggies and the variety available. My favorite thing has to be the garlic rice. I rarely eat rice but garlic rice gets me. Topping it off with some green tea ice cream makes it a perfect meal. We leave happy and have taken family here because it's that good. I highly recommend this place!

We've been eagerly waiting for this spot to open in the SouthWest since it's close by and we finally got the chance. Preface by saying it is AYCE style but the typical veggie and sauce bar are replaced by your server bringing it to you, either way don't be dismayed, this place is great! Starting off, the service is top notch, frequent drink refills, attentively stopping by to see if you want to order more or if you need more broth added. The broths: they have quite a few to choose from, we got the TomYum broth which was delicious. We like a little more kick so asked for some Thai chilis and that fixed it right up. The meat offerings are delicious and tender cuts. They also offer side sauces, definitely recommend the seafood and sukiyaki for dipping if you like a little spice. We ordered almost all of the sides, not a complaint at the table. The crab claw is one of the favorites, full of crab meat and little breaded. The restaurant has an eclectic fun urban feel to it, and would definitely recommend for a date night or just a good time. They are still working on their liquor license but will have full offerings soon, only thing we missed was a Sapporo with dinner. We will definitely be heading back

My husband and I go to the gym right around this plaza and saw this months ago -- so glad to find out they're open! We stopped by on a Saturday night at 8:30PM and it was just three other tables. We were seated immediately and the waitress Lemonade was very kind and informative on the menu items and things they were known for. They have a lunch set option and all you can eat option. The broth was flavorful! A lot of times you'll have watered down broth at other restarts and your meat just has water taste lol, not here! We got the pork and Tom yum broth. We tried all beef cuts, the minced chicken, and tilapia and they were tender, and perfect marbling of fat. Our favorite appetizers were chicken wings, garlic fried rice (must), soy salmon, and the steamed egg. We really enjoyed our date night here and will be coming back! So glad Southwest has a really wonderful shabu place.

On a gloomy and cold day glad to have tried this place. We came after lunch time which was a perfect time as it's not busy and the place is clean. The server was attentive and explained the menu well. We opted for lunch special which is $18.95 you have a rice and salad, side of vegetables, one choice of meat, one choice of soup base and 2 sauces. I got the sweet soy broth and ramen noodles and pork meat. My hubby got the tomyum brother and beef meat. Sweet and savory taste.. very good broth and the meat was soft. We were so full almost finished all the broth. Would love to go back to try other broths.yum!

Came to try out this new spot in the SW area. First off, wait was not bad. Service was pretty quick. Our server was patient and tentative. Selection of vegetables and appetizers are decent. It's not really big like most places, but they do have what most places serve. What sets this place apart is the quality in their meat. Definitely some of the best meat for Shabu Shabu. They have the best fried octopus that reminds me of Ika Geso. Restaurant is pretty clean and quaint. Definitely will be returning back.
