The prices were pretty average for the strip. Wish they had more choices for seltzers (only black cherry Bud Light). The bartender KJ was hilarious. Good place for a quick drink.

I was walking to my room and stopped by this bar to ask for a water bottle. The bar tender on Monday January 29th at 1:30pm reluctantly gave me a water bottle & I said thank you!! He replied "that's it, don't come back" what's funny is I was going to come back to grab a drink after putting my luggage away & settling in. What a prick lol good luck having a bartender like that.

This is a Robin Hood themed bar in the Excalibur. Robin Hood robbed from the rich and gave to the poor. Well, I'm not rich and it feels like I got robbed. It has some overpriced drinks. The bar has video poker games that also rob. It's not much of a bar. It's more of a place to sit and drink while taking a break from the casino. You probably feel like a drink after encountering the families staying in the hotel who let their kids loose. It's not quite as bad as Circus Circus can be. The drinks are way overpriced. It's about $10 for basic rum and Coke. The video poker games on the bar are stingy. This bar sucks but it's what you expect in this casino. It doesn't get much better elsewhere in the Excalibur. You also supposedly get a drink coupon when checking in, but they probably have stopped that.

Usually when you're playing video poker your drinks are free. They charged me $8.50 for a beer. Consequently it forced me to not want to play there at all. Paid the $8.50 but cashed out what I had put in the machine to play, drank my beer and we all went elsewhere. If they're going to charge they need to tell you when you order. Too many other casinos to go to. Cost them more in the long run.

There is nothing very Sherwood Forest-y about this bar except the sign hanging above it. It's not even very loungy. It's just an opening in the wall of Excalibur's Casino with some bartenders behind it and some stools pulled up against it. BUT they have good video poker machines and the bartenders are friendly, pour stiff drinks, and don't tell you that you have to play 'max bet' on the poker machines to get free drinks. We kept finding ourselves back here at several points over the weekend. While it's not really a destination, it makes a GREAT pit stop.

Located in The Excalibur, Sherwood Forest is one of the many casino bars you usually walk by on the way to other bars and casinos. At check in I got a $20 drink coupon and thought Sherwood Forest was as good a place as any to use it. Pat the bartender was very friendly and we ended up staying for a few more rounds then planned!

I stay at the Excalibur a lot so I also frequent this bar located in the casino a lot too. I like playing the video poker they've got on the counter while enjoying some drinks. The Excalibur gives their guests a $20 food/drink credit to a few of their eating places, including this one. My boyfriend and I ordered our drinks and presented the coupon after (hoping the free drink would be less watered down if he knew they were free afterwards, muhahahahahaha!). They were ok, not too strong but definitely not as watered down as my next drink I got for free for playing the video poker. This place is 2 stars in my book simply for the reason that almost every time I come, at least one of the bartenders is kinda rude. My step dad got into a heated argument with one of them one time we were there about his drink, which is pretty unprofessional on the bartender's part in my opinion.

We used our free drink coupons from our stay at Excalibur to get Melon Sours and ended up ordering a lot of drinks because their bartenders were so amazing, (see previous liquidity review) Mike was the best! All of our drinks were made well, and it was easy to forget that you were on a walkway on the casino floor and not in some awesome dive bar somewhere. Its an awesome place to get a drink when you are tired of the crystal light they give you while gambling.

After living in Vegas for years and moving away, flew back for a funeral. We stayed at the Excalibur because it was affordable, and figured we could walk to other casinos if we needed to gamble/see the strip during our down time. We walked up to this bar only by chance and were greeted by KJ. He took such good care of our family, asking questions and punctuating our own family stories with his life anecdotes, we all ended up at his bar night after night during our stay. Even when we wanted to go to other casinos or bars to gamble and drink a little to cope, someone would eventually mention that we have to get back to hang with KJ and chat and drink and gamble. What a difference a caring bartender can make, when a thousand bars are at your fingertips. If you're in the area, don't settle for just another vegas drink pourer or order taker. Treat yourself. You'll thank me later.
