My sweetheart and I enjoyed a fantastic Valentine at Sen.The 2025 seasonal menu has so many treats! Akami. Toro. There was a bass bite that started with a K. Koromatsu? The pork belly had this delicious broth and mustard. Our waiter - long haired pony tail guy - I didn't get his name, he was cool. Equal parts present and leaving us alone. My favorite. The lady runner, I loved the way she announced every dish. We brought our own bottle to drink. $30 corkage fee. It's always a nice time at Sen. Calm and dim with muzak version 4 non blondes playing softly.

This will likely become our neighborhood sushi go-to near Summerlin. All the fish in both chirashi versions was good, if not thrilling. The portions were solid for the price. The miso soup wasn't too salty and had a nice big piece of tofu. We were disappointed that they were out of the frangipane dessert, so we can't comment on that course. The room is pretty and peaceful. We enjoyed the jazz vocal music playing. Our server was very nice, but his diction could have been a lot better (he was clearly a native English speaker, so that wasn't the problem; he just articulated like a teenage boy, which is not at all). I appreciated him wearing a mask, but mumble mumble mumble doesn't work. Even after we asked him to repeat himself, explaining that the special chirashi is special because it has "fish from Japan" is not an adequate answer.

We come here once or twice a month (sometimes every week ) and absolutely love it. Great quality food at reasonable prices. The staff is fantastic- I'm always so impressed with how much they know about Japanese cuisine. We love most items on the menu. Some highlights include all of the toros (o, chu, akami), shima aji, bonito, negi toro, salmon hand roll, black cod lettuce cups, Asian salad, and the chocolate soufflé!! I have yet to try something I don't like on the menu. They'll also make you common sushi in Japan not on the menu.Thank you Sen for making it so easy to enjoy great Japanese food in Vegas!

Sen of Japan is an absolute gem for sushi lovers. The gyoza is some of the best we've had and the tempura (pumpkin, zucchini, and shiitake) was perfectly crisp and flavorful. The stars of the show are the various fresh nigiri and negihama hand rolls. The staff is friendly, attentive, and make every visit a treat. Highly recommend!

I love Sen of Japan!! I've been coming here for years and very regularly so this review is long overdue! Sen is where you go when you want AUTHENTIC Japanese cuisine that is made with only the freshest and most quality ingredients. Their specials are always changing depending on the season and what's available. This most recent visit, I got to try their soft shell crab that was flown in from Peru and was alive that day. It was sooo delicious. I already want to go back for more. Another highlight was the wakame mushroom tempura. This special type of mushroom is in season and I loved the flavor and texture. Sen offers a lot more variety when it comes to seasonal fish as well and their quality is always the best. It's common to find different seasonal fishes, so make sure to ask! For sashimi dishes, I recommend that you try their garlic yellowtail and ask for the other sashimi dish that's pictured in my review. It was seared with hot sesame oil and the texture was buttery soft and melted in your mouth. Some of my favorite things are really the simple things like their home made miso soups which is made using fresh miso , they offer both red or white miso, and they have fresh sliced tofu. Their miso soups take hours to make. You will not find the powder miso here. :D I also really love some simple maki and hand rolls because their rice alone is perfectly seasoned and has the perfect texture. I crave it all the time. I recommend their yellowtail hand roll with shiso or a spicy tuna roll with shiso for a nice refreshing twist on the staples. They are also open late night so it's the perfect late night happy hour / date spot. Also good for dining alone at the bar.

This was some really great sushi. It was presented beautifully. The staff was fantastic at answering questions and informing us about their local sources for ingredients. The ceviche was an extremely inventive creation with a kiwi vinaigrette dressing. I'm going to try to create this back at home. I would say this was the highlight of my evening, followed shortly by the chocolate torte dessert.

Encore Five-Stars for Sen! Great experience with Kryan as my server. While I have regular go-to items on the menu, I trust Kryan to chose for me. She suggested a great unfiltered sake, Momokawa, as well as a recent special sashimi, the Hima Suma (young tuna). I had my routine gyoza, Black Cod lettuce wraps, along w other sashimi selections.Personal and professional service from Kryan, the chef team, and Chef Shinji. See you all on the next LV customer visit event (3-4 weeks)!

This has been on my list to try for a while. Finally we did stop in. We walked in and were promptly seated at the sushi bar, it was busy but not packed ..... yet! Started with yellowtail appetizer and my goodness it was to die for! The fish was fresh had a crispy piece of garlic on it. Seriously melted in your mouth. We also ordered veggie tempura, that was delish as well. Next we each ordered a roll. I got the rainbow to get assortment of fish. My husband spicy tuna roll. We did not share it was that good! We didn't want to be done so we ordered one more yellowtail plate. We will be back as this is our new spot!
