We did the secret food tour of the strip. Amanda was our guide and was great! She provided "secrets" along the way. We enjoyed all of the food at each of our stops and were stuffed by the end of the tour! We would defiantly check out another tour next time we're in town. Also considering doing others in different cities when we travel.

This review is for the downtown food tour - not the celebrity tour on the Strip. We spent an awesome few hours walking around downtown Las Vegas with Mark. I lived in Vegas about 25 years ago, and while a lot has changed and it was really interesting to see Fremont Street now vs. then, I'm amazed at how much I learned that had been there all along that I never knew. I completely missed the connection between California and Hawaii, for example. Who knew that there was a good Hawaiian restaurant in the California casino? Apparently plenty of people because it was busy in there. If you're craving spam musubi, that's the spot for you. The ice cream bar also has tropical ice cream - macadamia nut, for example - and Kona coffee. We learned about Ethel M and got a sample some truffles there too. I don't want to reveal all the places we went and potentially spoil the tour for anyone considering it, so I will abbreviate to say that we visited several locations. I never would've found on my own, and I'm an avid foodie who seeks out interesting restaurants and new food concepts. The mix of food and culture and history (which isn't long in Las Vegas, but certainly is colorful) was outstanding, and Mark is passionate about sharing this delicious side of the town. I love Secret Food Tours in general and was thrilled to discover so much on this one. Don't hesitate, just book it!!

There are so many things to do in Las Vegas and I love a good food tour. Do yourself a favor - choose a different one than this because this experience is sub par compared to others that you can get in the area. Our hostess was lovely and the food was tasty, but compared to the experience that you get in a competition food tour - the value is not in this experience. We started at Gordon Ramsey Pub and Grille in Caesars. Our tour had a total of 10 people in it and our hostess greeted us promptly. Our table was ready when we arrived and we started with a brief history of the food industry in the area. Two plates of short rib nachos and sweet and spicy wings were delivered to our table. There was just enough for a small serving of nachos and 1-2 wings per person. It was a great start! We were then taken down the hall to Giada's Wine Bar where we had been told that we would receive a healthy pouring of wine and Giada's cookie from her mother's recipe. This is where the tour got weird. Our hostess seated us at our reserved tables and went up to get our cookies. They were served to the table in plastic wrapping and then she started pouring wine from her purse into plastic cups. Yes ... we were taken to a wine bar and served wine not from the bar, but from a wine purse that had a box of wine in it into plastic cups - WHAT?!?!Next up we went through the shops to the True Food Kitchen. Again, great venue and the table was immediately ready for our group. We were given the opportunity to pay for a drink from the menu and the pizzas were served to the table. There was one pizza that was butternut squash and ricotta, one that was meat, and one that was half and half. Again - WHAT?!? There was literally just enough pizza for each person to have exactly one small piece of each. I've never been on another food tour with such small portions. Super weird. We made our way outside and across Las Vegas Boulevard to the Venetian. Buddy V's was next! We were served eggplant parm and meatballs. Again - exactly the right number for our group - 1 meatball and 1 slice of eggplant. This food was fabulous and flavorful! But, the portions certainly were not plentiful because obviously this tour was giving exactly one per person. Last we headed for our desert stop - Royce. We all stood around a counter and were served Prosecco (I missed where it was poured from) and small pieces of different types of chocolates from small soufflé cups. Each was explained, but the presenter was difficult to hear. Depending on your expectations... this food tour may be the one for you. It certainly gives the ability to taste a few restaurants that are tasty. If you are looking for nice size portions or a elegant experience - find a different tour.

I felt horrible for the man with a backpack when he sat next to me at the slots. He wasn't playing and two women wanted that seat. He graciously gave it up despite their bullying tactics . I thought, wow why a nice guy. Little did I know he was our Secret Food Tour guide. I thought it but wasn't certain until he held up that orange umbrella as a signal for those of us signed up for the Secret Food Tour gathered around. If you are looking for something to fill your time, enlighten you and keep you away from vices, such as, I don't know ... gambling, this is the BEST option out there and trust me I have been to Vegas a lot.Our foodie guide filled with secrets was Jeff. An upbeat man with an amazing smile. He kinda reminded me of a shorter Joe Manganielo. 'My Celebrity lookalike' says he looks like Maya Rudolph. I don't see it.With us on the tour was Guide-in-Training Kenyon. A young man who has a knack for people. . I really think he will do well.We started at Gordon Ramsey's Pub and from the get go, magical toy guide Jeff was informative and telling little secrets and background stores. He was a plethora of knowledge and trivia. Never once was there a dull moment. We hit six stops, to be honest I don't remember the names because I was having so much fun and was so engrossed. There was a nice young athletic man in our group and a wonderful couple from Chicago. We all got a long like we were lifelong friends. That is a sign of a good tour guide. The diverse group was chatter fodder for Jeff and he used that to keep things moving and upbeat. A true pro at work.I know this review was long. I thoroughly enjoyed it, I really did an think if you go to Vegas you need to do this tour. The food was amazing, my favorite was the pizza. I think I may have to go back.I just wish I would have thought about tipping Jeff, I didn't think of that until after. You may want to check into that.Secret Food Tours may hold secrets to food and chefs, but this tour should not be a secret to touristsThis review was also posted on TripAdvisor

Hubby scheduled this for us as something different to do as Vegas locals. Best part was really our host Kanyon! He was amazingly knowledgeable and hospitable. He really made the whole experience a lot of fun! We've been on other food tours in town and this one was definitely different. All the food was delicious and a great way to try celebrity restaurants and learn about their history. The biggest difference between this food tour verses others we've been on is definitely that the food on this tour is all served family style vs every one getting their own plate. Also you're in a group with strangers which may not be for everybody but our experience was great. We didn't get pictures of our food but we did visit all the restaurants mentioned on the website. The pictures already posted here are true to form.It was a good experience and again our host was amazing!

I was looking for a fun activity to distract my husband from the blackjack table, as he was about four hours away from losing "the nest egg." I found this little gem of a tour online and bam! I whispered in his ear "Buffalo Wings" and he was behind the wheel of the RV faster than I could push the button on a slot machine (the guy is a REAL foodie). To make a long story a tad shorter, our tour started out great. We met up with about eight other people who were just as fun and curious about the experience as we were. Samantha, our tour guide, was a blast. Not only was she knowledgeable about the venues but her sense of humor made the tour so much more fun! As you can see from some of the pictures posted (there wasn't time to take my own pics as hubby was eating everything on his plate and mine), the food was DELICIOUS! My favorite was the meatball at Buddy's. And that pizza was great too. You don't get huge portions by any means but you will NOT leave hungry. Even my chubby hubby said he was satisfied. It was a very fun afternoon. I imagine that it might get old for the tour guides but Samantha did a great job of keeping our group excited and engaged and we all tipped her nicely. For what she saved me in the casino, I was happy to reward her. Great job!

We had a great time with our tour guide Bobby. He took us to three restaurants and two snack spots within Caesar's Palace and the Venetian. The tour was right around 3 hours and everyone had plenty of food. Bobby was engaging, fun and very informative. We've lived in Vegas for over twenty years and he provided all kinds of fun facts that we never knew. Secret food tours is a great outing for locals or if you're visiting Vegas.

Lets get this out of the way, Jeff, our guide, was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and truly entertaining. You could tell how passionate he was about Las Vegas as well as the food that was presented. Whether or not you are a local or an out-of-towner, you're going to walk away with something new. Jeff made sure everyone was included and he went out of his way to ensure that everyone was having a good time. Sometimes, in the hospitality business, you don't always get a great crowd and you have to work with you got. I think it was evident that the group today, (2/28/2023 @ 3 pm) was one hell of a group and it made sense that Jeff was there to guide us. This truly was an amazing experience with incredible people and an even better palate.

EXCELLENT!!! Our tour guide was Bobby. We were in Vegas for Super Bowl weekend and decided to take this tour on Saturday, February 11, 2023. The tour was a lot of fun, there was some walking but not anything exhausting. We were going from place to place and Bobby was great in terms of explaining where we were, a little bit of history and then of course the food selections. We will definitely look into future tours with this company!!! Highly recommend!
