Stopped in for AYCE dinner and were able to be seated immediately. There was one server handling the entire floor and he stayed very busy. The restaurant had some cute decor, but we noticed right away there wasn't any music playing, which was a little odd. We ordered a bunch of nigiri, some handrolls, and a few sushi rolls to start. The nigiri was good, not the best we've ever had but pretty good. The spoon shooters were probably the favorite thing we ordered. The hand rolls were drowning in kewpie and were a little too sweet. We got two rolls, the Salmon Lover and the Kamikaze. The Salmon Lover was good, lots of salmon and not a ton of rice. The Kamikaze tasted like the crab and eel had gone bad. It immediately turned our stomachs and made us nauseous. We would have ordered more, but it made us nervous. The server was nice, but messed up a few things. We ordered tobiko with quail eggs and it came out without the quail egg. We ordered sake and he forgot it until we asked again. We asked for some tempura veggies and he forgot to put the order in. For dessert we asked for fried green tea ice cream and affogato. He brought out regular green tea ice cream first, and then took it back and brought out two fried green tea ice creams instead of one and an affogato.

This place is delicious! But my last experience was quite annoying. Everything I ordered 1 order of (for example nigiri), they would bring 2 or 3 orders of it. It was so overwhelming. Then they expect you to finish everything. We were so full that we couldn't even order rolls that we really wanted. Is this a thing here? If you order 1 order, they bring 2 or 3? Kind of bizarre.

I wanted to like this place, but I can't. Went with the AYCE option but only ordered one round of food. The rice tasted like it had too much rice vinegar, the tuna didn't taste as fresh as I'd like it to be, and the udon was pretty salty to my liking. Usually I'm able to easily order 3-4 more rounds of food, but it just didn't meet my expectations. The only thing on the menu that I could finish without problem was the edamame. Service was great though, our server, she was nice.

We wanted to try a new sushi spot, so we picked this place. However, we were overall pretty disappointed with the sushi. It's by no means bad, but definitely off compared to other local spots. It seemed like the nigiri was cut too thick and the texture was off. The rolls were not much better, but I did like the wide selection of rolls! I do want to highlight the service, as they took very great care of us! Also, want to mention the appetizers and the beef were very good!! I don't think we will come back for sushi, but would return for apps and drinks!

Recently came here with a 8 person party, we all got the AYCE. They were able to sit us right away on a Tuesday evening. The ambiance was chill for a family with kids; and our server did an excellent job. Their rolls are tasty, and the fresher apps (cucumber and seaweed salad) were good as always. Their Nigiri and Sashimi was delicious and tasted very fresh. My preference is in the Yellow Tail, Albacore, and Tuna. Though their Salmon was also very delicious, for you Salmon folk.
