Rounders Anthem

My favorite place. Conveniently located very close to my house in walking distance. Great people and patrons always. Love this place!

What happen to this place? Our favorite waitress is no longer there and has been replaced by a grumpy old man who ignores us until we leave! We gave it another chance tonight, the place is empty and still no service we walked out again! This place was the place to go on Friday and game day now the place is empty and just miserable! After going here for over 10 years we will no longer come back! This is a warning to anyone out there who is considering this place to eat and have a drink!

Since most of my friends are now living in Anthem, decided to check this place out with them for happy hour. We met around 4pm yesterday here.Walking in here, it smells of smoke. It's lower ceilings so maybe that's why. I hate having to relate it back to like a typical gaming bar here, but it's so dark, not the most inviting, etc. Everything was just okay. Honestly, the service was probably the best part. Our server was super nice and attentive. She checked in with us often. She also accidentally knocked over my friends drink (it was empty thank goodness) and we all had a good laugh about it. She was seriously great, but yeah, I don't know. I realize this review is a total that's my opinion of it, and it is. I guess I was just expecting it to be a little more inviting inside.We ordered nachos with the chicken on the side since one of my friends is vegetarian. We also ordered the chicken fingers. Again, everything was just okay.It looks like they have some good VGK specials during games. Again, it just wasn't my cup of tea when it comes to a bar. Super dark inside. I felt like it was midnight out even though the sun was still up haha. Not sure I'd go back again, but who knows. They have pretty decent prices. They also have a nice private room, which I peeked into, and it was a pretty decent size.

If you are on a mission to find the best brewery food out there in Nevada, Go to Rounders because I used to live close to it ever since I moved to Las Vegas at about 1 years old, 15 years ago in 2008. Their service is a Casino with all kinds of Casino games such as the most popular "Video Poker" like GAME KING, You must be 16 years old to play and one of their appetizers is Bad ass, It's a toasted pretzel.

I finally got to check this place out. My friend lives close by & has been here before so that's how I heard about it. We wanted to do Happy Hour (HH) yesterday & she mentioned 3 bars to go to, this being one of them so I went onto Yelp to check out the reviews & the menu. Someone had taken a picture of the HH food menu but I couldn't find HH drink prices anywhere so I decided to call. I was a little nervous when the phone rang several times before someone actually answered it. I was greeted by Sunshine who was very friendly & had given me a run down on the HH drink prices & shared with me due to football being on HH went all night. I was super excited to hear this as my friend who I was meeting couldn't head there until 5pm & regular HH is over @ 6pm so an hour doesn't really leave much time to enjoy HH prices. My man & I arrived before my friend that we were meeting & went directly into the bar. I found the atmosphere inside to be nice & cozy. There were plenty seats at the bar as it wasn't too busy. Once we sat down we were greeted right away by one of the bartenders, Ashleigh who took our drink order right away & showed us the HH menu & brought us a dinner menu. Their well vodka is New Amsterdam which I drink. Score!! I ordered the queso dip & chips which was yummy & it had a nice surprise hidden on the bottom which was hamburger meat. I got the potato skins which were good & a small size that was easy to eat by hand. I also got tempura shrimp which was ok, but I ate all of them cause my man doesn't like eat seafood so I found eating all of them being just a little too much tempura...lol I wanted to play a little video poker so I had asked to sign up for a players card or should I say number. It was very easy to do & Ashleigh was happy to do. At first I was getting some winning hands but then it went all down hill. One lady actually hit 4 A's for apx. $500 who was close by & hadn't been on the machine for very long. There is smoking allowed inside the bar area so if your not a fan of it this may not be a seating option for you. It does get smoking in here when there are others smoking around you. There is a separated dinning area outside the enclosed bar. There is another Rounders location not too far from this one that opened up a few mths. ago. I definitely will come back here & possibly check out their new location.

It really wasn't a fair experience when I visited Rounders Anthem this week. They are limited in menu choices, the restaurant side isn't open, and they only have one person working the entire space!Living just four minutes away, I want to like this place so bad. The interior is done quite well, and the exterior gives the impression of a nicer bar experience! The top shelf margarita that I requested with a splash of Grand Marnier was done quite well! The burger was tasty, cooked to a medium temperature, and presented quite well with it's requested crispy fries!The lone bartender/server had quite the report with the obvious locals, and she worked hard to make even the first timers feel attended to as well! This might just be the local hangout once I check out their happy hour specials!

So glad they are open again and serving food! Always easy to call in and schedule a quick pick-up. They explained the current menu, which although limited, still included the burger and chicken fingers I wanted. These items are served from 12pm-8pm, with the paninis served 24 hours. Food was ready on time and cooked well done (I ordered the burgers medium well, but by the time the food was picked up and brought home, likely turned it into well done). Everything still tasted great and the fries had a yummy seasoning salt and the cole slaw was crisp.

I cant say enough good things about Rounders. The bar staff and management is BEYOND AMAZING. From the first day i walked in, having moved right next door, I was made to feel welcome and already a regular. They are awesome at making you feel welcome and appreciated as a customer from the first step in. The food at Rounders may be limited from covid, but the quality is above par for a gaming bar.Janaya the general manager sets an incredibly inviting tone for first time customers and regulars alike. Dawn, Nicole, Ashleigh, John, Zoe and the other bar staff maintain that welcome feeling no matter the time of day.As far as gaming goes, Ive hit my highest jackpots in vegas at Rounders.If your looking for your every day local bar or are just in town looking for the best neighborhood experience you can get, please try Rounders, it fits ALL THE BILLS.

I give this place one star because of the RUDE poor customer service. I live in the Anthem Highlands area; we have two local bar options Rounders and PT Gold. I've been to Rounders a few times and have been disappointed everytime. I sit alone at the bar and each time I had to ask for service. If I want continued service i.e. another beer I have to ask. I've never experienced such rude service. I felt more like a nuisance than a paying customer. Not the type of local bar I expect or want.

Really depends on who is working the bar!! Poke your head in and make sure the good ones are home before u come in. I get 10/10 service 90% of the time. I normally come in weekdays around 5-9pm and have always had amazing service. My job switched me to nights this month so I came to rounders at 4-5AM for my "evening" beers. The doors were locked so I pressed the alarm that stated " if door is locked please sound alarm, press firmly" I was approached in an intimidating manor by a very tall African American man, who refused to tell me his name. I asked if the establishment was open and his response was "for customers" I said "okay I would like to be a customer can I come in?" This man then invited me in, so I placed $40 in the machine and played $1 per bet. This "employee of 5 years" gave me one beer complimentary, then about 10 minutes later, at the same bet. I had finished my original drink and asked for another. I still had about $40 in the machine from losing/winning/losing you know how it goes. I was told and I quote "you can't put $40 in the machine and drink all night. You get one for free and that's it. That last one costs you $6.25." So I paid my $6.25 and left without giving him any sort of tip whatsoever. I recommend hall do the same.To summarize! Great during rush hour honestly the best in anthem!!!! After hours seems like a predator barkeep who only enjoys women's company (description- tall over 6ft. Only interested in girls and claimed to be an employee at this location for 5 years. I was intimidated as a man at this location at 4am and walked to this location from my own house. If I was a woman I couldn't even imagine how I would feel. Keep your bear spray ready late at night girlies! Bright side is I've only seen him at night and not once ever during the daytime! Stay safe loves!
