9 years ago was my first review 5 Stars 7 years ago was my first update 5 Stars I'm back! Guess what, it's better than ever before! Nothing has changed. But the point I wanna stress is that this is not just authentic Mexican food, it's authentic California style Mexican food. They're still the kindest people I've ever met too. Sometimes this gringo is maybe too much over joyed, I try to express my humble feelings to them about how great their dishes are. I would love to say more but there's no need. I'm the first o review this place, I'll be the last. Trust me. This is the spot.

What in the bland ass is this food?? Geez I have never been so let down before. Looks and smelled so good but had no flavor. Even the salsa is runny and bland. I can't believe I spent $43 here. Got 8 chicken tacos, 2 tortas asada and a carne asada plate. I thought it was my taste bud but no I can taste my sprite I bought next door at the convenience store connected to it. I'm very disappointed and wish I could get my money back. I spent a $25 to Lyft there and back as well so that's $68 just for probably one of the worst Mexican food.

The food here is cheap yet delicious! It was super windy so we ate inside; the interior is small and tight with 3 tables. The max amount of chairs per table is 4 but we were able to grab another chair to place it beside the table.The food is cooked fresh from the grill/fryer so there's a little wait. They ask us if we want to add salsa verde or rojo once we get our plates. If you dine in, the plates are flimsy so be careful with holding them. Overall, was super full from our entrees and felt satisfied from the taste and flavors!A great way to celebrate cinco de mayo and have a quick fulfilling eat! Lots of takeout orders happen through phone and they're pretty busy! Small little grill connected to a gas station (typically pointing to greatness). We had no issues with getting in, getting served and getting out. Food was good, if you're in the neighborhood, go for it! We had Asada tacos, carnitas quesadillas and a classic bean and cheese burrito. Enjoy!

If I could, I would give this place a 3.5 star; since I cannot in good conscience give it a 4, I landed at a 3. The service was great and the food was good. Since the menudo had no pata, we opted for a big burrito with no rice which could have been better with less lettuce. We also ordered crunchy chicken tacos which were just right. The seating was tight; nonetheless, for a whole in the wall, we were grateful to be able to sit a a table. If you are looking for something low priced, quick and easy on the south side of Las Vegas, this is an option to consider.

I've passed this spot for years and didn't even know this gem existed. It is tucked away in the back of a gas station and an oil change shop. Tiny store with a huge menu. Three small 4 top tables all fill with local families enjoying the foods. I ordered the Carne Asada Super Burrito. It's a two person shop, so there's a bit of a wait. No problem. My burrito was bomb! Just a mixture of flavors and nice charred steak. The tag line is "California-style." This burrito was better than any burrito I've ever had in Cali!

This is the hole-in-the-wall spot my partner and I always go to for carne asada fries! It comes with a good portion of meat + fries that we end up full after sharing 1. I love that they are open late so we always end up here to satisfy our late night cravings.The gentlemen cooking are always nice and they take phone orders for pick up. Bonus: their street tacos & drinks are pretty good!

Amazing breakfast burritos and great price. And the menu is huge. Don't come here on a date, the ambiance is not good. It's attached to a convenience store. Don't let that scare you. Come here for the food. Great service.

Not sure how this place has such good reviews. Food is mediocre, service is below mediocre. I ordered the super nachos with asada. Only flavor is salt. The only thing that tasted Mexican was the salsa that was given with the meal.

I've been sick for about a week now and I was really craving posole. I live on the westside and there aren't any places on this side that have it on their menu. This place was the closest to me. My husband went and picked it up. I asked him if it was a nice spot and he said it's a small place inside a gas station but it's clean and the people were nice. I was so surprised by the size of the serving and they use pork spareribs in it! I love that the meat portions were chunky and I could break them down so easily in the soup because they were so tender. The onions, cilantro, lime and cabbage were very fresh and the salsa that came with it was perfect, Not too spicy and not too bland. The huge tortilla was enough to save half to eat with the posole later. I'm so glad I found this place! I will definitely be back and recommend to anyone looking for posole!
