Rio Pool

Worth the price of admission. Recently renovated. All the polls are open.New paint and furniture have brought this iconic pool back to life. I'll be back for sure. Summer 2024

I had a fun day here at the cabana! We had excellent service and our server was fun and upbeat and hooked us up all day with shade and waters and made us feel like a mini VIP. The vibe is fun with a DJ but not too over the top loud or crazy. The pool is newly remodeled and bright and colorful and the pool temperature was very comfortable all day in the bright Vegas sun. The Cabana had a TV and fridge and clean and comfortable but did not get much cooler than the 100 degrees it was outside that day. We were not staying at the Rio but you are allowed to use their pool if you are a Rio rewards member - easy and quick and free to sign up. I would recommend.

Unfortunately, this ended up being our least favorite daybed of all. We bought a day bed at the 21+ pool and the pool was absolutely freezing. It was almost unbearable to remain inside for longer than 5 minutes. This pool does not open until 11am. We got there at opening, the view was beautiful, the UV rays were at about a 10 (which means it's really easy to get burned in the sun, even if you are wearing sunscreen), which is why we specifically bought a day bed, for the shade. We were frustrated when they had us close all our umbrellas due to the wind, as we paid extra money for shade, little communication between us and the staff about when we could open our umbrellas back up (which was never). We ended up getting pretty bad sunburns, being in the direct sun for 4+ hours, when we paid for shade. The only reason I did not give one star is because our waitress was seriously a 10/10 amazing. Unfortunately, we didn't have the same experience with the rest of the staff. When we went to go get towels, the staff member was on his phone and just pointed off for us to handle our problem by ourselves. This really was a bad ending to our day and made us sad because we wanted to like this pool so bad! Unfortunately, the water was way too cold for us to ever want to return. Several other hotel pools on the strip we have been to keep there water at the perfect temperature, so I'm hoping the Rio is able to do so as well. Maybe we can try again in a few years to see if it's a better experience.

Great music and athmosphere! Love the fact that they have multiple pools and adult only pool!
