Reggae in the Desert

April 20, 2024- my first time attending Raggae in the Desert after living in Las Vegas for many years. They usually have it in the middle of the summer and it is way too hot so I just never went. This year- it landed on 4/20 of all days! It was absolutly perfect! I had such a great time! The bands were awesome. People were nice. The weather was great. I stayed all day. Ate good food and shopped around a little bit. It was such a great time- the vibes were on point for sure! As long as they have it around this time going forward- I will never miss it!

I have been to this chill festival a few years in a row. I thought I had reviewed this but I guess someone flagged it! I love this outdoor space and try to attend all events that happen here. Easy parking and an easy $3 Lyft from Downtown. Or ride the new free Loop Shuttle. Chill and calm this festival is for people that want good relaxed vibes and a happy day. Plant yourself on the lawn. Bring a blanket or a "cool fold up portable mat" like we have, it folds into a carry strap type purse/bag, just get one it makes a difference at festivals. I normally don't partake in the food because most is not vegan friendly but a few items where alteration friendly last year. I can't wait for 2018 one soon! See you there!

We have made it an annual event. Year after year this Reggae In the Desert gives less and less. The venue is the greatest. But Organizers are BLOWING IT.This year with the great disappointment of big names not showing up shows poor event planners. Don't tease the mouse being there and a no show.The atmosphere and attendants are great; and deserve better vendor and features for this price.Reggae Fan.Get it together.
