A nice poker room with a lot of tables and TVs.

As a local I used to LOVE this poker room! But with an increased $6 rake (each hand) on 4-8 limit and when short handed with 3-4 players at the table they still rake $4... it just doesn't make sense anymore. The only one winning is corporate greed. The good, fun promotions are long gone and only one cocktail waitress every hour makes it so easy to play anywhere else- Too bad- also some of the management are rude and couldn't care less.

I like The Red Rock Poker Room. It is at the Western edge of Las Vegas. It has a very friendly staff and generally a relaxed atmosphere. When I've been there, it feels low key and just relaxing. It's very enjoyable to play poker here. It's not very big and when I've been there it's only been half full which is what I like. Maybe it's busier at other times. It feels like a place not many know it's there, which is what I like about it. The best thing is that that the Poker Room is situated right by the front door so you don't have to walk through loud and dizzying 5 miles of casino floor full of slot machines to get to the poker room. That's what I call classy. If you are visiting Las Vegas and are not interested in the dizzying chaotic madness on the Strip, I would recommend staying at the Red Rock Hotel. It is situated in a very nice neighborhood and you can really get anything you can get on the Strip everywhere else in Las Vegas, without being hoarded in on that tiny Strip with other ~40 million people per year and you also don't have to deal will all the super stress out people that work there. The hotel on the strip happily bend over backwards to cater to wealthy people, but for the rest of us, you are just a part of the heard, when visiting here. But if you like that, by all means follow the heard to the Strip and get stuck there, lost there and yeah try asking anyone there for direction when you get lost and good luck! You will get a lot better service at The Red Rock too I'm sure.

We are in town often and play lots of poker. This used to be a great room before the virus took over the rooms. We no longer play here, both of us, since their games are eight handed (seated players). Most of the time you are playing short-handed because people leave to eat, play slots, or have a smoke. Without a full table the blinds come around very fast and if your cards are not real strong the blinds will take away your chips. Short tables are great for "bully" players but the average player who plays the way the game should be played will lose. That means if you are an ettiquette player you won't be playng long in these short games. This room used to benefit the new players and the Seniors with a comfortable 2-4 limit and they took that away. No Stud either and many of us still play that game. My husband plays No Limit and Omaha and he is not happy here either. I play limit games. There are so many other places to play why go here?

The Red Rock is my go to poker room. It's a large, clean and professionally run room. There are different limits and plenty of tables. You can play no limit or limit poker, Texas hold'em and Omaha. On occasion they even host different games like Chinese poker. The dealers are professionals and most run a good, quick moving game. The vast majority of the players are friendly and there for fun, however, in the no limit games (2/5 mostly) you find some tough, regulars.Free drinks with dedicated cocktail waitresses, as well. That's nice!

I came on Saturday and there's a waiting list with lots of games but I'll just sit here and watch sports till my name is called. It's nice that the room is located next to the Sportsbook so I can place some bets till my seat is available. I'm impressed how many games are going on and it looks like there are a lot of promotions for High Hands.

Chips are old and sticky, carpet and chairs are worn out. Rake is $8. They are in the process of getting new tables, but they need a lot more than that. Dealers sometimes over rake on small pots and take full rake. A lot of locals chasing promotions forces bad play. Newest promotion of Set minors is only $50 and it replaces high hands that paid 100-300 and double bonus for those locals that play 25 hours, BUT it is gone this week. Some soft play amongst friends. Watch out for the regulars, each table is loaded with mostly regulars who know how to work together to exploit non regulars. Dealer quality is average, with 3 way below average dealers, there are 3 top quality dealers though Chip, Danny and Anthony. Floor is NOT friendly unless you are one of the regulars. Floor can be quite rude to non regulars, especially Carey who is always in a negative mood, hates her job and expresses it quite often. She rants about having to do to much paperwork paying off promotions, and watch out she has a short wick and blows up often.

Just went in to kill some time in between appointments got on the waiting list said I was supposed to be next up. Waited about 10 minutes until a seat opened up. Instead of calling my name, they just took the guy who just got there and walked up and he bought into the game. I just left completely unprofessional.

My friends and I are in from out of town watching football in the sports book next to the poker room... we put our names on the list... we were 3/4/5 on the list.. after waiting for 2 hours for the table to open we get the text that the table is ready when we go to sit down only 2 of us get to sit and the floor man say the last seat is locked for some else who was not on the list. Even the floor man at the desk said the other guy was not on the list.. do not go to this poker room the floor men have horrible customer service and only cater to locals who play there daily.. had to be some of the worst customer service I ever experienced in my 25 years of poker... do not play here
