Food was good and tasted fresh and authentic. We really enjoyed all our experiences at his restaurant. Very clean and service was good also. Ordered from a walk up menu and got served at the table. Always a good experience! Definitely recommended.

Don't spend your money unless you are ordering a MASA pupusa . There was no meat in any of our pupusas . My husband had ordered to go and we got home and there was little to no meat in our orders ...a home made quesadilla would have been 5 stars compared to what they gave us . Also look at the watered down small bean container they gave us . We weren't driving all the way back so we tossed it out .

I placed my order through Grubb to pick up. I ordered 4 pupusas and 1 burrito. My estimated pickup time was 20 minutes, but I arrived 10 minutes after I placed the order to check in and they said it would be ready in a couple minutes. I waited... and waited. Meanwhile two customers placed orders at the counter, waited, and received their orders both before me. Finally the lady at the counter said my order was ready and handed me two tacos. At this point I was just livid. I told her that was not my order and I showed her my order AGAIN on my phone. She yelled out something in Spanish to the cook and they had my order out a few minutes after. She said "sorry" and that was it. Seriously, I will never go back because of the service and the fact that I waited 42 minutes for 4 pupusas and 1 burrito. Now onto the food. My husband enjoyed his burrito. The Carne Asada was seasoned well and it was very decently sized. It also came with chips and salsa all for $9.99. The pupusas, however, were just mediocre. I ordered 2 cheese, 1 cheese/ jalapeño, and 1 bean/ cheese. They all were lacking flavor and didn't seem to have enough salt. My jalapeño pupusa only had 2 small jalapeños. It almost looked like they forgot it was suppose to be jalapeño/ cheese and just added what they could in the end. Overall, I will definitely not be back.

Food: 3Pupusas: We tried two pupusas - Jalapeno con Queso and Championes (Mushrooms) con Queso. Both were tasty, but they were way too oily for my taste. I like the cabbage salsa that comes with it because the acidity cuts through the fattiness and oiliness. Note that the jalapeño pupusa wasn't that spicy since a spice wimp like me was able to eat bits of it.Service: 4.5The waitress that took our order was really nice and she was super patient while we figured out what to order. Because she realized it was our first time, she even gave us a sample of a Salvadoran dish.Ambiance: 4There is a counter where you can order food, but it seems like the workers will just take your order at the table if you are dining in. Also, I like the cute little wall paintings in the restaurant.

We shop fairly regularly at the Cardenas in the same plaza, so decided to try Pupusas La Familiar one visit. The menu was extensive and we ordered various things to try. We were intrigued by the more unique Salvadorean menu items (various soups, and of course the pupusas). While waiting for the food, we enjoyed the various fruit-themed napkin holders on the tables. The food took some time to prepare because it was made to order. Overall, the food was tasty and relatively affordable.

Ordered after a night out through the yelp ap. We needed something to help with our hangover that wouldn't kill us in the process. Pupusas were the path to recovery for sure. The order arrive in time, though it seemed a little long since the restaurant is less than a mile away. Nonetheless, we were hungry, lazy and hungover. Delivery is amazing when you feel like death. We ordered two bean pupusas and two bean and cheese pupusas. We didn't want to test our stomachs too much lol. They were amazing, delicious, still warm and so filling. For $1.99 a piece they definitely fill you up! It comes with a tomato based sauce and pickled cabbage, the more the better for me. The pupusas are cooked to order. We also come here once in a great while and eat inside and have never had any issues. Definitely a recommended place to try, esp hungover !

Very disappointing pupusas :( The pupusa chicharonne queso was all cheese and SPECKS of pork. Do yourself a favor and hit up a legitimate salvadoran pupuseria or restaurant, and skip this mall food court. and the pickled cabbage was not pickled and the salsa tasted like V8 juice with tabasco. Our daughter liked her hot dog from them though lol.The mall this place was located was quiet, but the Mall is dying, has been for years. We got our food quick though, nice fella behind the counter.

I'm wondering why this restaurant doesn't have good reviews, I think is delicious! I just did an order there, and the pupusas were amazing and tasty. Also the tamales. I'm Mexican and I know how to recognize a good tamales place. In my opinion is one of the best tamales place in Las Vegas. Also the order they brought me was clean and still warm. For me this place deserve definitely 5 stars review
