I really enjoyed this exhibit -- and like others suggested, doing the VIP tour is the way to go since it includes an interesting audio guide. I was so happy that I decided to do it once inside since I don't think you'd get as much of the story and experience. There is an overwhelming amount of items in the museum so it helps give you a path to follow. As others mentioned, not all the items are the actual pieces that belonged to Diana but it captures the essence of it such as her wedding dress and other clothing on display and many of the artifacts. What you will find are her many, MANY thank you notes. Girl, loved to write letters to people but guess she had a pretty distant relationship for Charles so she had the time. My favorite was her very open and honest note to someone who suffered from bulimia and she empathized by sharing her battles which was totally bold for someone in the royal family and why she is so beloved. There are also cool notes that she wrote to various celebrities and figures including George Michael. She loved the gays! The audio tour takes about 1.5 hours but you could easily spend longer here if you want to stop and read the plaques and so many letters. It's worth a visit, especially on a day where it's brutally hot or cold out. It's a little hard to find, located on the 3rd floor of the mall near Aria Resort. I've been to this mall dozens of times and I honestly had no idea there was even a third floor, but it exists!

This exhibit was a pleasant surprise. I am not much of a royals fanatic but you really don't have to be to enjoy this. It was nice to learn about Diana, her life, her grace and her family. The wardrobe pieces and replicas are so pretty. You should definitely visit if in Vegas!

Date of visit: August 26, 2024My mom is a big Diana fan and my husband is fascinated by the royals so this was an east pick on the last day of our Vegas trip.Tickets were easy to secure online and I appreciated the Senior discount for Mom. Getting in was a breeze and for the most part, the timed entry helped spread things out. There are a large number of artifacts on display but quite a few are personal letters or items that have very little use or value and seem to be "filler." Though in fairness there are some pictures and items that are quite interesting, such as the porcelain dolls that showcase the various royal wedding dresses over the years--though Meghan is missing from this display, curiously. If you read the other reviews you will see the vitriol regarding the paper dresses, and I feel it best it pile on; all but the first one in black are horrible and should be removed. I don't understand why they wouldn't look to partner with a design school to have the students oversee replicas of the dresses rather than these paper monstrosities. Also odd: Despite spending just under 90 minutes in the exhibit, I encountered no staff or security between the box office and the obligatory gift shop at the end of the experience.

DIANA FRANCES SPENCER (b:1961, d:1997)**The People's Princess**Princess Diana was one in a million and I think this exhibit on the 3rd floor at The Shops at Crystals (next door to Aria) was a beautiful tribute to her. The colors were vibrant and the timeline was thoughtfully placed.I remember exactly where I was when I heard the tragic news. Just a year prior, I got married and wore a tiara that was designed after Princess Diana's wedding day tiara. The memorabilia and written references on display were tasteful and I just wish Princess Diana was with us today. But, her children and grandchildren will continue her legacy of charitable work and nurturing families of their own.If you're planning to visit, consider adding the audio. There are a couple of photo opps, so look your best! I parked at Aria Self-Parking (3 hours free for locals) and spent an hour walking through the exhibit. There's also a souvenir shop at the end.

I have studied the royal family since I was a child. I got up at 05:30 to watch the Royal wedding and Diana's funeral. I actually own some of the Aynsley pieces on display. The audio walks you through the memorabilia - the highs and lows of Diana's life. Great exhibit for royal enthusiasts and history buffs.

An elegant tribute to the late Princess Diana [Las Vegas NV] I've always adored the People's Princess ever since she was introduced to the public on her engagement to then Prince Charles. While we were in Las Vegas last weekend we had a chance to visit the Princess Diana & The Royals: The Exhibition. We checked in at the front desk with our Go City passes. Upon entry, immediately, we were introduced into the beginning of Diana's life when she was a young girl growing up in Norfolk. Then it led us to the engagement exhibit where several newspapers showcased all the headlines during the courtship in the 1980's. The next room was all about the fairytale wedding at St Paul's Cathedral in London. Diana's wedding gown was on full display. It was the stuff of fairytales. The stats on the dress was indeed fit for a princess. Diana's gown had the longest train in Royal history measuring 25-ft and her wedding dress was said to weigh 20-lbs (average is 6-lbs). The glass that allowed people to walk over the train of the dress was really cool. Then we entered the room... it was about Diana's death. They had a replica of the Buckingham Palace and the floral tributes. So sad but a nice feature of the exhibit. The next exhibit was all about fashion and many of Diana's dresses were on display. There was also mention of her two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, towards the end of the tour and a small exhibit of their weddings to their respective spouses. This exhibition was a self-guided tour and you can go on your own pace as you browse and enjoy the timeline of events. Anyway, I could go on and on about the People's Princess but it's better to see the exhibit in person. This was part of the Go City pass that we purchased. The exhibit is located on the 3rd floor of the The Shops at Crystals (adjacent to the Aria Resort).Review #3404
