Primal Steakhouse

Years later Primal is still firing on all cylinders! Same great atmosphere, same master service from Michael, and my smoked NY with blue cheese crust was again 10 stars!Skip the casino up charge steakhouse and come feast at Primal!Thanks again for the great service Michael! I'll be back 5 stars.

Our server and the manager were extremely friendly and attentive, and I would expect no less from a restaurant of this caliber. The service and ambiance were both excellent. The drinks were great...my friend ordered an old fashioned and it came out smoking....literally and I got a Viking punch and it was really tasty. I was slightly disappointed with our risotto and lobster as the risotto was slightly undercooked, but the flavor was phenomenal. We opted to share a New York strip with foie gras but we like our steaks at different temperatures and our server said the kitchen could do that for us. I wondered how, but we happily accepted. Unfortunately, it didn't work out well. It seems they cooked it rare, then sliced it and then seared some pieces to get to medium rare leaving some pieces under and some pieces over. My sister wasn't happy. But I gotta say the steak was so flavorful and so deee-licious! The menu states that the weight is not including the bone but they were only referring to the Tomahawk so I think that was extremely misleading since the NY Strips I usually order don't come with bone. I would not have opted to share a 24oz strip that included bone. The bone marrow sauce was also disappointing as it tasted like an over reduced demi but it was a good thing the steak didn't need it. I know this seems to be an uneven review but it was a good experience and I had a great time. Good food, great friends, all about the experience.

This was my first time to have A5 cooked tableside and it was a great experience! I would say the A5 was average quality, that being said A5 is WAY above a regular steak, but I've found some better than others, with some melting like butter in your mouth. While this was an excellent steak, it wasn't the best A5 I've had, however I don't recall seeing any info on where this A5 was from, but I assume it was hops fed, or they would have specified otherwise.We were a party of 4 and everyone enjoyed their steaks. I splurged for the lobster mac and cheese which featured a whole lobster tail and was my way of making my meal a surf and turf.My best advice is to arrive early and grab a cocktail at the bar before dinner! Their cocktails are amazingly presented - go for the ones that come in a special glass like the horn or goblet! I love a good cocktail pre dinner and then wine at dinner!

Such a cool place and AMAZING food! My boyfriend took me on a date night here and we had such a good time. The ambiance and dark setting was super romantic and felt very private. Our server was very attentive and everything we ordered was incredible.

I kept getting info from people that Primal Steakhouse is so good and that I must come in to try the food. Hearing all these good things, when I got the craving, my hubs and I decided to make a date night out of it.Walking in, I hadn't realized it was a themed restaurant. I'm usually so good at researching a place before coming in, but this time I didn't, and I was shocked when I realized it was medieval themed. It's literally a place where you you can take souvenir pictures with swords and armor. Although, I don't think it takes itself that seriously, as the theme isn't too overt.We were greeted warmly by the host and by our server. Our server was surprised that we were locals, as she said they do not get a lot of locals coming in. This surprised me but also didn't. She was fantastic, super good with recommendations and was always around. We heard the people two tables down flag down the manager to tell him that she was the best service they have received while in Vegas, ever. He also touched our table, so the service here is incredible.The food ain't too shabby either. We shared a medium, aged New York strip, with béchamel and red wine demi. We also shared the mac and cheese and the asparagus. All of this was really good, except the béchamel was a bit too sour for our liking. But honestly, we added it to the lemon asparagus and it was perfect there. The spotlight has to go to the apps though. We shared the wedge salad and the bone marrow. Both were bigger than we thought they would be, so there is real value there, and they were freaking delicious. We paired the marrow with the tomato bacon jam that came with the free bread. Out of this world! The desserts were excellent too and I didn't mind the "show" that came with them (we watched the table next to us and their dessert show as well.)The cocktails were fun and pretty good. They weren't the best or the worst I've ever had. They could maybe work on balance a bit.Overall, this may be our new celebration steak place.

It was delicious, only bad thing was the bernaise blech , it tasted like deviled eggs., the place is way overpriced ! They put us at table that was so big we had to yell so I asked to be moved , they need to get rid of that table. , I usually don't like lobster bisque so I don't think this was bisque because I loved it , I took it from him lol it was creamy with lots of lobster bits. It's decorated in a medieval style , knights and such, they have a specialty drink that comes in a horn kinda silly and expensive. It was pretty loud in there too, overall it was a nice one time experience.

Kicks every single overpriced Las Vegas Strip steakhouse in the butt!The ambiance in this place incredible. I was a little worried when we pulled up and it was in a strip mall but when when you step inside it's like a medieval castle!Service was impeccable. Our waiter was so very attentive, friendly and genuinely happy to be helping us.Food was excellent. Our steak was cooked to perfection and the garlic potatoes were out of this world! Do not miss the Oreo tiramisu... my mouth waters just thinking about it!Don't overlook this place for some flashy overpriced steakhouse - this is the best steakhouse in Vegas and worth the trip off strip!
