Hidden Gem Alert: Pot Wagyu Master - Chinatown, Las VegasChinatown in Vegas never disappoints, and honestly, it's where the real culinary magic happens--far from the overpriced spots on the Strip. Back in town, I finally made it to Pot Wagyu Master, a place I had bookmarked for a while, and it did not disappoint.Atmosphere? Cozy and inviting. Service? Top-notch. But the real star? The food--absolutely incredible. We went for the combo, which included: A5 Wagyu Sando (melt-in-your-mouth perfection) A5 Wagyu Nigiri (rich, buttery, unreal) A5 Wagyu Tartare (so flavorful) A5 Fried Rice (next-level umami) Wagyu Sukiyaki (comforting and indulgent) Kimchi Brussels Sprouts (a perfect punch of flavor)Every bite was a knockout. The flavor profiles were spot on, and not a single complaint--just pure satisfaction. Will I be back? Absolutely. If you're in Vegas, skip the Strip and check this place out!

Excellent food. We went during lunch on a weekday and we were the only people here. Ambiance: Boith seats were comfortable and restaurant and bathrooms were clean. You order via a tablet, which made ordering really easy and no pressure. We could take our time looking at all the photos on the menu.Food: Excellent food. We ordered the wagyu combo and some of the dim sum dishes. In my opinion, the wagyu combo is enough to feed two by itself. You get a great variety of food to sample with the combo for a good price. I particularly liked the soup broth and fried rice. The meat was tender and juicy.Overall, great value for the money, especially for lunch.

I was super excited to try this place but unfortunately left disappointed. We got their set menu and a few other random items on the menu. The set menu was okay, I was most excited for the sandwich but mine was super chewy and basically inedible. The rest of my party didn't have this problem though, for some reason my was just super fatty and chewy. The sukiyaki wasn't my favorite either, the broth was super sweet and just didn't taste the best in my opinion. But the meat itself was my favorite of the meal. It was tender and delicious. I also had the spicy garlic edamame and it was super good, super garlicky and spicy but not too spicy. We also had some tako wasabi which was tasty, i enjoyed the fresh wasabi flavor. The wagyu fried rice wasn't my favorite, I wish it was more of a traditional fried rice instead of the odd green twist on it. Overall the meal was okay, I wasn't really impressed with anything and the ordering system was bizarre. There's an ipad that you do everything through and the server seemed to be super overworked. She was the only one coming out of the kitchen and doing everything on her own. So it wasn't the smoothest to get plates out of the way or even getting cups or sauce. Ambiance in here wasn't the best either, it was freezing cold and absolutely dead in the restaurant.

The food was decent. There was nothing special about it except maybe the wagyu sandwich. The wagyu sandwich was breaded with panko which had a unique crunch and flavor. It was also priced nicely. As a family we also had an order of California roll (flavor was good, but terrible quality of the actual roll), salmon belly nigiri (pretty good), shumai (kids loved it but having only 3 per order was a disappointment), and finally had the soft shell crab salad ( good crunch and flavor but was overly dressed)Much of the 3 star rating comes from the service. We were the first customers and ordered right away, but all in all it took nearly an hour to have all of what we ordered come out and would come out one at a time. There was only 2 other small families. The kitchen was understaffed and did not prioritize the customers who ordered first.

Generous portions and pretty good food for one set price for TWO people. We got combo B.Service was quick and attentive, questions were answered and great suggestions were given. Ambiance was spacious and casual without being pretentious.Faves were the hot pot, wagyu ribeye, and sando. Skip the udon. Come here with your significant other or a bunch of friends for a special occasion. Definitely something for everyone here!

I was so excited to come to this place. While the service was great, there were a few marks missed for the food. We got the Combo B and other sides. It's great to get one combo and share amongst two people. Very filling. However, half of the dishes tasted bland. The memorable dishes were the hot pot, wagyu tartare, the steak. The fried rice was mediocre. The truffle edamame was good. The nigiri was decent. The katsu sandwich was a little overdone. Overall, I'm disappointed in my experience here based on the food alone. It's a great value for your money but the flavor was lacking. I don't know if I would come here again.

In Vegas for a conference and I did not want the touristy food or prices on the strip so decided to venture out to Chinatown. This place caught my attention, especially with their combo. Came in after finishing my certification exams and was famished around 4pm. No one was there so I could get my food fast. Barely looked at the menu as I already knew I wanted Combo B. The waitress was really nice. Prior to ordering, she informed me that the sweet tamago was not available today and would be replaced by a mochi ice cream. Did she read my mind or she just told every customer the same thing? =DThe wagyu sukiyaki pot was the first thing that was served. Looked nice, but needs some cooking before I could eat. The second thing was the A5 Japanese wagyu short rib steak. That was my favorite item. Flavorful and tender.I like truffles and edamame so that was perfect. The kimchi Brussels sprouts were okay, but good to have more veggies. The wagyu tartare was a good concept, but execution was mediocre. I thought I could take a bite of the tartare and eat a chip, but it was incredibly difficult to chew off one bite without breaking. The tartare taste was average. The wagyu nigiri was not bad, but the taste of wagyu was overpowered by other ingredients. I had to focus really hard to detect the wagyu flavor. The wagyu sandwich was okay, but the taste was not quite there or something was missing. I was trying to eat my sukiyaki pot throughout my meal, but I really wanted some rice with it. However, my wagyu fried rice didn't arrive until almost the end. It's got bits and pieces of wagyu and kale, but nothing to write home about.Initially I thought this was a Chinese restaurant with Chinese characters in the name. It was like a Korean fusion place, especially so when soju was prominent on the menu lol. Overall, the food was average or slightly above average. But $40 for a variety of wagyu dishes was refreshing and a good value. They also give you a soda for checking in on Yelp and a special promotion: a 2-piece wagyu nigiri for posting a review (at least they didn't require a 5-star review) so yes, I wrote this in the restaurant. =D

So happy to have found a new place for individual hot pot soups! They are chock full with different proteins & vegetables, with the ability for add-ons for additional charges, but the amount included is sufficient. It is a sukiyaki soup (slightly sweet), which I think is good for just having the meat & goodies, but if you want to consume the soup itself, I wish you could have a savory option as I am not personally a fan of drinking the sweet sukiyaki base. Since they have miso soup on the menu I wonder if they could substitute that in the future. I'll let you know. They include a bunch of side items (waygu steak tartare, waygu steak finger sandwich, crispy brussel sprouts, fried rice). They were all very good. It was so much food that we had to take some of those to-go.I highly recommend trying this place out!

I love meat. But we couldn't taste the difference in in tenderness of A5.7pm on a Friday night and we were 1 of only 2 tables. By the time we left there were 4 other tables being serve. No wait coming in which is great!Experience was mid. Server didn't check on us in corner booth, we had to keep saying excuse me loud.. I don't like doing that.Ambience was 2/10This was serving combination A for 2. They combine your order to make it easier. I would prefer if they didn't combine it so I know the exact portion I am receiving. Beef tartare - was our favoriteFried rice - a little under seasonedWagyu bites - meat was over cooked except 1 and under seasoning Soup - was good, could have add more udon Kimchi Brussels sprouts - good Nigiri - slice was very thin, couldn't taste the beef as much Sweet Tamago not included - server forgot to replace with mocha icecream, I came back for it after I paid. Ice cream melted on my way home
