Platinum Catering & Delivery

We were referred to Platinum Catering by our wedding venue, as a candidate for our reception food. We met with Nick to talk about our event and do a tasting, and quickly signed on to have them service our event.Nick is friendly, helpful, and clearly takes pride in his food. We had a ball at our tasting, and tried a variety of foods before choosing the options for our event. We also did a cake tasting, and chose to have them provide our wedding cake. Our meal choices came out to a price that was reasonable, but slightly higher than we'd anticipated. But the cake was significantly less than we'd expected, and overall we were able to make the choices we wanted while still fitting our expected budget. When Nick provided a quote at our tasting, he made an error and left out an item. He did the professional thing and chose to honor the quote he had provided; we were having such a positive experience with him, we met him in the middle and split the cost of the quote mistake. On the day of the event, things were professional and perfect. The staff was friendly, polite, and helpful, even on an unbearably hot day. The food got good reviews from our guests, and we had plenty to go around. The cake was lovely and delicious. And let's be clear: if you don't like the bacon wrapped dates, I don't know what to tell you. I wouldn't have thought I liked dates. I know I typically don't like feta cheese. But by the time they combined the bacon, dates, feta, and presumably some witchcraft, they were absolutely amazing.I usually try to add some constructive feedback to ensure a balanced review, but I'm really struggling to think of anything to add here. Nick and his team were dependable, communicative, friendly, and professional, and the food was fantastic. We'd definitely consider them for any future event.

I don't know where to start! Nick, first of all is amazing! We wanted to support local but still be very happy with our food choice for our wedding. Nick nailed it. We sat down and tried the foods we were thinking about. They were all delicious so it was difficult to pick. I am an extremely picky eater so he was kind enough to tweak a couple of things to my liking. Our venue had a huge outside area so he thought it would be nice to set up a grill on site for the cooking. Brilliant! True hospitality if you use platinum catering !!

My family and I have been trusting Nick and Platinum Catering with our events for years. From graduations to wedding rehearsal dinners, everything Platinum Catering delivers is always top notch. The food, presentation and service is always incredible, and working with Nick has always been seamless. They all care about making sure your event is done with class. Today my Fiancé and I went to our food tasting with Platinum Catering. When scheduling with the owner, Nick, we were told we did not need to choose food items we wanted to try as they would send us out different options, which I thought was weird. My Fiancé and I were told to go to a banquet hall for the tasting. When we arrived we were told to park on the side of the building where the owners assistant would meet us. The assistant did not introduce herself to us when we first met her and she brought us through the back of the banquet and through the kitchen where they were making our food! She also told us Nick was running late. One of there chefs was also right outside of the kitchen smoking a cigarette as we walked in. We were escorted inside of the banquet and were seated right by the front doors where it was freezing cold to the point I was shivering. The assistant brought out the first appetizers, which did not look appetizing or well put together. She also kept touching and putting her finger on the appetizers while explaining to us what they were. The appetizers were horrible and cold. I asked the assistant if those were the only appetizers they had, which she said yes and they could send us more to our home to try. A few seconds later, she brings out new appetizers and says the chef had some already made. Those appetizers were horrible as well. After eating the appetizers, the owner Nick finally came out to greet us and brought out the main courses. The food was separated into three different plates with different steaks on one plate, different chicken on one plate, and different fish on one plate. The food on the plate was crammed onto the plate and did not look appetizing. The food was also not prepared onto the plate for presentation as it would be on the wedding day which was very disappointing. While Nick was talking to us and telling us about the food I noticed his hands were very dirty and it appeared to be dirt or food on his hands and all over his fingers. Nick also kept touching our food with his dirty hands and moving it around on the plate while talking to us. Nick began showing us photos of presentation of how the food would look on the plate for wedding day. Nick then asked me how I felt about the food and to be honest, which I was and I told him I did not enjoy any of the food. While I was explaining the reasons why I didn't, Nick placed his phone in front of my face to show me more photos of the plated food as if he thought it would change my mind and was ignoring my comments about the food. I then told Nick that I appreciated his time but I didn't think we were going to use his company. Nick then continued to be pushy about me and my fiancé using his company and saying he would "redeem" himself. Nick then explained that his head chef had called out in the morning which is why the food probably didn't taste right. When I asked why Nick didn't call me so we could reschedule if his head chef called in he didn't have an answer. All together, the experience was absolutely terrible from beginning to end. The food was horrible, not appealing, or well put together. I would not want any other couple going through that experience we had to go through today as it was very disappointing!!!

Just the best service and delicious food! I have had them cater small events and larger gatherings with over 100 people and every detail from menu on was exceptional.They will always be my first choice for any catering.

This year was the third year working with Platinum Catering. Once again, they outdid themselves and superbly delivered an amazing Christmas dinner. The owner is kind, friendly, and very accommodating. He and his team delivered an outstanding spread of high quality dishes. I can't wait for next year! Thank you!

I used Platinum Catering for a small business meeting this week in my home. It was spectacular. Nick worked with me to stay within budget and provided a truly unique experience. The food and presentation were top-notch. Sandra did an excellent job in keeping everything running smoothly. I highly recommend them!
