Amazingggg! Don't let the location fool you! This is a must for me and my husband when we come to Vegas! Oysters are super fresh and yummy! The pk bouill-roast is by far the best!

Wanted to really like this place.... And let me tell you.. I do. With the addition that I can understand how hard it is to get good wait staff. It's what I do for a living. Came at prime time in order to see how long wait would be.. Zero wait. Palace Station Oyster Bar alternative? I can see it. But definitely need to upgrade service.... Want to see this place make it.. but I don't see the draw unless you look hard or they have way to bring people in. I live across the street in the golf course.

Server offered popular dish recommendations when we told them that it was our first visit. We opted to the the Christmas special, which includes a Seafood Pan Roast, Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, and we chose the Fried Seafood medley (catfish, shrimp, calamari, an oyster & fries) over the fresh oysters. We also had a Linguine & Clams (white sauce), a Caesar Salad, and the Happy Hour Shrimp Boil.HH Shrimp had good flavor, a little heat, and lots of garlic. They were heads-off, but we would have preferred to have them butterfly-split for the main purpose of cleaning out the poop chute (deveining). Caesar salad was nicely dressed and brought to split between 3-4 people. The Seafood Boil was very creamy & tomato-forward. Not our favorite, but if you like a cream heavy tomato soup, then it might please your palette. The Gumbo had a good balance of chicken & sausage & okra ratio, but it seems to have a "darker" flavor (gumbo file?) than we are used to. We liked it better when we mixed the two together, because the gumbo suppressed the excess tomato-ness of the Pan Roast & the cream of the Pan Roast helped smooth out bitter of the Gumbo. The Fried Seafood platter was only available if you ordered the Christmas Special, and we really enjoyed the crispy flavorful coating on the shrimp, calamari, and oyster. The oyster was plump and fresh, and the catfish had a nice cornmeal crust. Served with ketchup (for the fries), tartar, cocktail, and a really good Remoulade sauce (our favorite & wish there had been more for ALL the things, it was so good). We finished the meal with their Bananas Foster w/ice cream. It was so good that I wish we hadn't decided to share the one between us.

Amazing food for the money and staff !! Will be my go to spot when I visit but hope it doesn't get too popular.Don't be fooled by the location and appearance of the restaurant. Just because it's not on the Strip doesn't mean it's not amazing.

Came here for late night dinner with my husband and left really stuffed with plenty of leftovers. When we arrived, there were 3 other tables but was told there's a 10-15 min wait because the kitchen needed to catch up (not sure if we just missed the rush). Anyway, we were seated before 10 mins.[Voodo Pasta]Didn't realize this was 2lbs haha - so much food! Pasta was cooked well and sauce was very rich. Chicken was tender and delicious.[New England Clam Chowder]We got the last order and it sure tasted like the last bit...as if it's been sitting there forever. It wasn't terrible but I'm sure it tastes better when it's fresh. It was nice to actually taste clam meat since some places skimp on it. There was also a strong herb taste to it...not necessarily a bad thing but also not what we're used to for this style of clam chowder.[Pan Roast PK Combo]Such a huge serving - definitely order for sharing! This was definitely tasty but it's very heavy because there's a lot of cream in it. Felt like it left a coat of fat in my mouth and throat haha. The rice is definitely a nice balance. Overall, nice flavor and plenty of seafood and meat.

We've been to Oyster Bar at Palace Station several times but we found a new hidden gem! We were lucky we didn't need to wait in line and the seafood gumbo and bouillabaisse were excellent and full of seafood. Will be back!

I believe PK Oyster Bar is better than Palace Station's Oyster Bar. Less waiting and more eating + gorgeous decor and more intimate setting.Syd took care of us and did a great job. Thank you Syd.I had to try the clam chowder and it was great. Lots of potatoes but I did enjoy every bite. The PK combo pan roast was 5 by itself. Lots of shrimp, crab, lobster, chicken and andouille sausage. Might be more than Palace Station but you can be the judge of that. I got a spice level 7 and I could probably do a 9-10. It wasn't spicy at all to me.We all enjoyed it. We are definitely coming back!

We were the only customers on a Tuesday evening and, though he was not working in the kitchen, we got to meet head chef/owner Ramon who previously was employed for 15 years at Palace Station's oyster bar. There are a number of unadvertised weekly specials available and on this night it was buy 1, get 1/2 off a second seafood pan roast so we said why not? We noted a distinct difference in the flavor from those previously enjoyed at Palace Station, but theirs were quite good as was the service provided by Gregory. Did I mention there was no waiting in line? We will not let its seedy location in the Commercial Center deter us from revisiting this restaurant on our next Las Vegas vacation. Note: other unadvertised weekly specials include a happy hour 4-6PM on Friday & Saturdays that includes drinks and seafood apps, $1.50 oysters on Wednesdays and $20 etouffee on Thursdays.

PK Oyster Bar is an amazing new restaurant in Las Vegas. I've been a regular at the Palace Station Oyster Bar for more than 20 years and PK brings the food and flavor - without the crazy long wait! Don't miss the greenlip mussels! - my only recommendation is that they build out a full wine list!
