I don't normally go out on a Wednesday night, until a friend of mine changed my mind because it involved food and basketball . A friend of ours had recommend this place and said it was a cool spot to hang out play pool and watch sports. We decided to check it out. The location is on Sunset and nearest cross street is Green Valley. It is in the same parking lot as Joes Crab Shack.I kept looking around for it because the buildings on that side of the complex looks deserted. I eventually saw the banner as there're is no sign up yet Inside you can tell they are still getting it all together. There was a rock band setting up and getting their sound rightNow on to the most important thing the food. We ordered the lemon pepper wings , Catfish and Fries. The run a $1 wing special daily according to our server Amber. The lemon pepper to me was kind of salty, the catfish was kind of fishy I wouldn't get that again if I went back. The service was kind of slow as there was only one waitress working the inside and outside areas, she did a great job but they definitely need to hire more servers.I was able to meet the owner who said his name was "Papa". I had a hard time believing that lol, as it sounded more like a nickname or maybe he's somebody's "Papa? Either way he was nice and said they had been there six months and he was getting it all together. According to the owner the hamburgers and the wings are the best sellers, he stated they have different genres of music different nights, Comedy and Karaoke nights along with Trivia nights. It's a great local business to support and I'll try it one more time and try the burger for sure .

Great new place to check out in Henderson!!The service was awesome. Everyone was so inviting and very helpful. The food was on point and everything came out piping hot. The wings all seasoned well... that lemon pepper def no mistaking it. The house still trying to figure out the secrets to that one. The Mac & cheese was cheesy but overly and cooked to perfection. The cake was something I've never had before.. a chocolate chip cookie dough cake... good but rich. The Nashville sandwich was messy but worth it. Haha I really like the fries.. seemed natural and just the right amount of salt and pepper. Overall I recommend trying this place and I can't wait to go back.

Great wings ! Let me start off with that. First time here for a comedy show , it was a blast . Service was great very attentive waitresses and business owner. I believe it's a Jamaican restaurant during the day (not too sure ) but we were there for a night event . Very spacious , chill laid back . Good for events or gatherings . Looking forward to our next visit .

When you do not pay the help it is not a good sign of the business health. Please pay the poor trusting musicians who work hard to keep the customers entertained and the drinks flowing. If you think you can get away with it in this town think again. 5/29/23 Update- More unpaid contractors. The Penaltybox managers owe $1000 to the person who does the banners. More updates to come as they unfold. Makes you wonder what other corners are being cut.

Great Catfish. Best wings in Vegas, various flavors to choose from. This is a very Big venue. Bar, restaurant and live music. Highly recommend!‍

Stop by for an Easter Sunday Birthday Party. The live entertainment was on point 5 stars. Truly enjoyed myself.

Penalty Box's Sports Bar is great for lunch, dinner, and late night meals or cocktails. If you're looking for Senegalese food, be sure to ask your server what dishes are being served for the day. The dibi, chicken yassa, & soupe kendja are my personal faves.I was also told that hookahs and a full menu of flavors will be available very soon.

This is not a sports bar! We went here during the NFL playoffs. Arrived here around noon, and the place was empty. We didn't want to be rude, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately after 1 round of drinks and appetizers, we left. The service was super slow and unorganized. There was one young man doing working the front of the house. Felt bad for him because he seemed a little overwhelmed with our party of 6.

My son and I stopped by for lunch Sunday afternoon. The staff was so friendly, I felt like I was home. Vickie and her staff are amazing. I had the shrimp and grits. To die for. Thanks Penalty Box!!
