Walking into Patty's I smelled the aroma of freshly cooked tamales. Took me back to year's past, at my best friend's house, helping to make 100's for the holidays.I have been wanting to give the tamales a try for the last few months, and today was the day. I chose the red chicken, non-spicy one. It had just the right amount of spice both flavor and heat wise. The masa was mixed well and smooth, not the gritty corn meal texture, and had plenty of filling. There was chicken in every bite. Very authentic, I loved it.The menu is plain and simple: chicken or pork, spicy or non, and cheese with chili. This is a take out place only, no tables or chairs are available. I suggest calling a head of time to place your order for your next party or group gathering. People were walking out with bags full.Definitely will be coming back.

This was our first (and last) visit. We each ordered a chicken tamale with my spouse choosing red (not spicy) and I green (spicy). There being no inside seating so we reluctantly returned to the car where we ate them. Each proved to be exceptionally dry and light on the protein. The only plus was the cashier/server was very pleasant.

Holy freaking spicy, if you are not used to a high level of spice than you should go elsewhere. Beef and chicken are so spicy you can't enjoy them at all. Pork are mild and really the only ones that you can enjoy without burning your face off

I ran an errand nearby this area and I saw the sign "tamales" and it got my attention. Drove into the plaza and saw the sign clearly and now I wanted some tamales! This place has no tables or chairs, just a counter and a couple of boards hanging there as their menu. One in English, one in Spanish. It's brilliant: Sell what you advertise, keep overhead expenses and cost low by having no staff, no tables to bus, no staff to pay, no bathroom to clean , etc. Since I have been disappointed before by tamales I have had so far in LV, I ordered 2 just to try them out first. I ordered green chicken (spicy) and red pork (not spicy). The green chicken really packed serious heat! The corn masa is finely ground, soft and good but I like them a little on the wet/moist side. The chicken is shredded m, good amount, not skimp , and there were green bits of peppers mixed with it. And holy cow - They weren't kidding when they noted that it is spicy! I had to drink a little bit of yogurt to calm my tummy, lolThe red pork has shredded beef and a good amount too. Good flavor, has enough red sauce so that it isn't dry. The beef is moist enough but the masa was drier than the green chicken. (I inhaled it and forgot to take a photo, though)Overall, it wasn't bad but delicious. Over $2.50 each but then again, everything is up now. If you are in the area, craving for some tamales, give them a try!

Way over priced plus $8 charge to pay with card and that's all they accept. Tamales were not good, very dry. Ladies that worked there very rude when ask a question about the fee.

I use to go all the time I haven't been in about a year went in today and pure disappointment tamales flavor is still good but man they got so small and they put little to no meat like they use to and it's super expensive 47 for a dozen is crazy I rather find someone on marketplace and pay 25 a dozen for little to no meat

The tamales here are amazing. I always get the green chicken. They are spicy but so worth it. They also have the red chicken for those who can't tolerate spice. It's a bit of a hole in the wall spot but the service is always amazing and the tamales are top tier.

Excellent tamales! Truly the best I've had in Vegas. There are 3 options, 2 with meat and one without, so it's good for vegetarians. It is a bit on the pricey end but if you want quick tamales to go with a great taste, this is the place.
