I booked my stay through AIRBNB so the room condition is not up to the hotel staff themselves. My review is solely based on my interactions with the front desk staff. Carmen in particular was very friendly and kind to me and my guests. I didn't catch the name of her coworker of the security guard on staff when I checked in but they were all very friendly. They seemed a bit understaffed but worked their way through the long check in guest line very efficiently. They were also very accommodating to special requests to extra keys, and extra room necessities like towels/ sheets. Thanks Carmen!

I chose to stay over President's Day weekend for a night because of the Yaamava/Palms connection, and the price was good. For an off-strip hotel, the view was fantastic. Complimentary valet was available on both the casino and hotel sides, and the staff was friendly. However, the layout was definitely confusing. Palms Place is on the west side of the property, while Palms Hotel and Casino is separate. When I asked the front desk about it, they explained that Palms Place is also a condo hotel, which explains the design. Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer transportation to and from the Strip. One disappointment was that I couldn't find the three-card poker tables, which I was excited to play. After doing more research, I learned there is a single table available, but I couldn't locate it, and a staff member I asked was also unfamiliar with it.The night took a turn for the worse when I got food poisoning from Mabel's BBQ--safe to say, I won't be eating there again. While I had to turn in early, my friend checked out Ghostbar, the rooftop nightclub. He said it was just okay--loud club rap that night, but decent drinks and a great view. There was no cover charge, though I've seen reviews mentioning they sometimes do charge one.Overall, I'll give Palms another shot and hope for a better experience next time.

Meh. Removed from the main casino although accessible by bridge. My blankets were crusty. The fridge did not work and the buttons were mashed in. The bathroom sink did not drain. Even after calling the front desk for assistance my issues were not resolved. Disappointing because I used miles to book this.

4/11/2024-Nice accommodations and the price is very reasonable.Noticed a lot of families checking in:.Always plenty of parking and free parking at that..Although we prefer to stay on the outskirts of town... Hung out with my son and enjoyed the large room with the kitchenette.. fridge and freezer..Very modern and top notch view..

Booked via Airbnb and the experience was terrible to say the least . First they have men working the security desk at the front door and they will watch you struggle to open that heavy door with bags and a child in a stroller . That pissed me off for a week straight. If you are going to allow people to run airbnbs with rules and restrictions you should have some for the tenants also . I'm positive they have the hotel housekeeping come in after someone check out but they don't do a thorough job because my God , the place was dirty when I checked in The couch was so dirty in the condo / suite I stayed in . The balcony was full of cigarette butts. There was no soap no trash bags I had to reach out to the host and she then said everything had to be purchased by me . A week stay and you have NO supplies for me to start with ? Insane .

The rooms are filthy and they don't take ownership seriously. Me and my hubby were bitten by bed bugs and didn't give me as much as an apology since they didn't see any bugs when they came in. My ear and neck was bitten and my hubby sustained bites on his feet. They basically said sayonara have a good day they don't take seriously the gravity of what happened to me and my husband bed bugs carry diseases and are nasty worse than a roach from what I've been told. Bottom line don't stay here!

Last time I stayed there the windows in my room were so dirty, I couldn't see much looking out at what would have been a great view, got up at night, and turned the lights on, bugs crawling all over the walls , never got back to sleep... Won't ever stay here again !

The room: we stayed in the Studio Suite Mountain View. Room was a nice size, though they've made some odd choices in terms of decor (for those of you old enough to remember, think "The Jetsons"). The bathroom is separated from the rest of the room by a frosted glass shower wall, which means that if you use the bathroom during the night, you must choose between doing so in the dark, or blasting the adjacent bed with diffused light, which your partner might not appreciate. Two televisions on the wall, side by side (immediately adjacent to each other), which also seemed odd. Would have made more sense to put one larger TV on a rack that tilts if the motive was to ensure optimal viewing from any spot. The fan in the bathroom didn't work, and the sink drained slowly (easy fixes, but if housekeeping is checking when they clean the room, guests wouldn't be left to manage this process). There were no drinking cups in the room, though they provide a role of paper towels in the little kitchen area. I presumed that housekeeping had simply forgotten to leave us an ice bucket and cups, so we returned down 27 floors back to the lobby to ask for some. There, we learned that our room refrigerator has an ice maker (empty, but time would solve that) and that no - the hotel does not provide cups. So you can have ice, but you have nothing to put it into unless you travel with cups (who does that?). We bought two souvenir cups in the small store in the lobby, but of course had no dish soap (another thing I don't pack in my suitcase) so just had to hope they were fairly sanitary and use them "as is."I have never stayed in a hotel (or motel, for that matter) that didn't provide cups - actual glasses or the disposable cups wrapped in plastic. So weird and inconvenient. After a flight that was twice delayed, during which no beverage service was offered due to the brevity of the flight, waiting for luggage, calling an Uber and navigating to the hotel, checking in...you want a drink of water. But you won't get that in this room unless you want to stick your head under the faucet. Pleasantly quiet, clean room, mattress was fine. The blackout curtains don't fully meet in the center, but that's always true for whatever reason.A short walk across their "sky bridge" takes you from Palms Place to the casino. We stayed at Palms Place because we had tickets for a show there and it seemed convenient in that regard. The theater is nice and small enough that any seat would be a good seat. I would definitely see another show there, but I might stay somewhere else.We didn't find a non-smoking area which would have been welcome, but we also didn't look that hard and could have missed it.We ate at Mabel's BBQ the first night, and my husband disliked everything on his plate. The meat was not cooked or lean enough to suit him and he thought the beans had an odd taste. He ate almost nothing and we had to go somewhere else later to get him a burger. I had the salad with sliced, fried chicken breast on top which was fine, though the restaurant could have been a little more generous with the chicken. The lime vinaigrette was a little bitter and insufficient to properly dress the salad. However, the server brought three bottles of different sauce, and I found one that worked on the salad. The cornbread was tasty and arrived as a generous loaf, which we shared and still had some to take away for a late night snack. We didn't try the hotel buffet during our stay, but did have breakfast at the Serrano Vista Cafe, which met our needs. They were happy to honor my requested substitutions, and the server was friendly. There is a small bakery counter there which I wish I had discovered prior to our last morning, as I would have given that a try.The staff we interacted with throughout the hotel, casino, and restaurants were pleasant and helpful. Plenty of security around, if that's a concern for you. They were pretty consistent in checking room keys before allowing access to the elevators. All in all, it was OK. What I'll remember from this trip is the Babyface show (excellent, but I can't really credit the hotel/casino for that - it was the same, excellent Babyface show I'd seen a few months prior at the Yaamava in Highland, California) and that after a long day of traveling, we had to trek down to the lobby to get a plastic cup. I can't imagine that that is the takeaway that management wants, so I'd suggest rethinking that strategy.

Not a clean or well maintained hotel. Towels are extra and so is any housekeeping! Rooms need maintenance and deep cleaning. Broken floor tiles throughout windows and mirrors filthy.

Worse experience ever. I checked in and they failed to mention the ac for the entire hotel is down. My rooms is close to 90 degrees. Transferred me to a manager only to get voicemail. Waited in the lobby, for an hour to talk to the manager. While waiting, i saw they not mentioning this to anyone who was checking in.
