P-Dub's BBQ

I saw some of the poor reviews on here previously and was kind of sceptical, but P-Dub's was one of the few places open when we visited, and my partner was in the mood for some barbecue, so we tried it out. I ordered the oxtail for around $25.99 and was not disappointed! I was given two large pieces of tender oxtail alongside some sides of creamy macaroni and cheese and filling yams. My partner enjoyed his juicy chicken and hot links with some macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy as well. I would definitely try out the oxtail if you have the chance; it's a great value for the price, and I kind of want to come back to the Boulevard Mall just for this oxtail!

We don't have nearly enough soul food or BBQ options in Vegas but if you search hard enough, you can find P-Dubs: it's a food court counter in the Boulevard Mall. Don't let the location fool you, the food is actually pretty good. Menu has chicken, ribs, hotlinks, and my personal favorite, smothered pork chops, with a series of sides. For the more adventurous, there's also chitterlings and pigs feet. The two-piece pork chop plate with two sides was about $10 and easily more than I could eat- chops were super tender, that gravy was well developed but a bit saltier than I prefer, sides of mac and greens were just okay. I'd give them another try for the chicken and ribs.The setup is not my favorite- cafeteria style trays sitting out and exposed, drying out. My order was plated in a box then thrown in a microwave, also not my favorite. I don't expect a food court to cook meals to order but there are a few changes I'd make. Staff is warm and friendly to regulars, P Dub himself is usually on site.

Came in for some fried chicken greens and yams. The yams was the only thing I liked. The greens were not cooked very bland and felt like sand paper. The chicken was so dry it would choke on itselfJust lousy. I should have own considerating that my food only cost $10 bucks I got what I paid for.

I ate at P'Dubs BBQ today and the smothered pork chops were extremely salty the collard greens were bland and the macaroni and cheese had barely any cheese on it I would give it zero stars but there is no option for it.

Came here to get the 2 piece,mac n cheese and string beans! Felt like we should give them a shot! Ole,Girly said were good just a bit dry and she likes fall of the bone ribs! But, for the most part she said they had good flavor! The string beans she wasn't a fan of,she had to season them more and the mac and cheese was ok she said! All in all what makes them 4 star is everything was average and what stood out most was the fact that there portions are extremely generous for such a good price! U most certainly won't be hungry with there meals and still have left overs if you don't like to stuff yourself! Anyway, I'm outty 5000......

I've been eating at P Dubs since he was located on Sahara/Sloan.... I LOVE the oxtails!!! And the vegetables are always seasoned and FULL of flavor ( NOT salty)When Maria makes your plate, its like being served at home ( no skimpy portions) GREAT people GREAT food.... ESPECIALLY being located in a food court of the Boulevard MallLove This Place, when I dont feel like cookin'!

The man was very rude, there was another lady looking at the menu but was on the phone so I asked what the price of the brisket was. He just shook his head at me so I thought he was saying that they didn't have brisket, so I asked to confirm if they were out of brisket and he just ignored me. The other lady that was there then told him that I asked about the brisket, he responded to her that he was talking to her and not me, even thought she wasn't ordering or anything. Terrible service especially for being my first time here, 0-10 would not recommend. If I could give zero stars I would!

The food was horrible no seasoning or flavor I'm the macaroni the cabbage or the fish I don't recommend this to anyone (SIDE NOTE use seasoning as some flavor to the dishes)

When I went to P-Dubs in the mall, I asked the woman who cooked the food and she said she did, I should have walked away than!! I ordered catfish, cabbage and green beans n potatoes, the cabbage was so disgusting! It had a weird taste, the beans were very bland( no flavor at all) the catfish was just ok. My sister ordered mac n cheese n roast pork n cabbage, We wasted $37! I will never eat there again! Vegas does NOT what good soulfood is. One day I will open my own spot and I guarantee I will make sooooo much money here

Ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich with fries. Bun was heated up in the microwave. The pulled pork served from the steam table was cold in the center. Fries were a little under done. Server did not wear gloves when preparing food.
