My fiancé and I love Thai food and always make an effort to try new spots around Vegas. We recently tried Ocha Thai which is located on Las Vegas Blvd near the Arts District. Thankfully there is ample parking, which is a huge plus for be area.Being a Wednesday evening, it was pretty empty but they have a large dining area and a lounge with a stage near the entrance. I assume they have live music occasionally. Our waiter was very attentive, almost too much as he checked on us multiple times in a matter of minutes asking if we were ready to order. After scouring the menu, we opted for the Shrimp with Pepper Sauce and the Mixed Vegetables with Shrimp. Spice level we went with 8 and 9 respectively. I found my spice to be perfect (9), my fiance thought the 8 was a little mild. The flavor of both of our dishes was great though! The pepper sauce was deep and well developed, while the sauce in the mixed vegetables was good but paled in comparison. We both agreed this was one of the better Thai spots we've had in Vegas, however, and would definitely go back!

Went to this spot out of convenience and we were pleasantly surprised! Got some papaya salad Thai style, Tom kha chicken and tofu drunken noodles. We stayed with spice levels of five and under and they sent us home with more spice. Great move. Service was super quick, the restaurant is in a strip mall so a lil divey but not in a dirty way. It was pretty pricey for what it was but no complaints other than that.

This is another regular spot that we visit in Las Vegas especially for Thai food. We came in on 7-4-2024 around 9pm and not crowded and able to be seated. The food is always amazing and did not disappoint. The Tom Kha is a personal favorite of ours and is so good. Chow Mein with crab meat was amazing along with sweet and sour chicken. Its just a good place to have great food and just relax. Our server was Cherry and she was really nice, had a smile on her face and the entire staff always make's up feel welcome when we come in. This is the place to go for good thai food.

This is my favorite Thai place is Vegas. Service is always great and quick. The food comes out fresh and tasty. Plenty of seating inside and some nights they do have karaoke night. I love this place and will always visit when I'm in town.

Stopped by during the week. The parking lot is dark, and I would recommend lighting up the area more due to the location. We walked in and waited by the host stand because it was roped (blocked) off. Someone greeted us, and we took our seats. There's a stage and it looks like they have Karaoke. Food:Pork Jerky Tofu Panang Tom Yum SoupThe soup was very strong with the lemon grass flavor. A small order of the soup is HUGE. The Panang was ok. The pork jerky was probably the best dish. Great flavor. I asked for vinegar to dip the meat in. The dipping sauce it came with was nasty. Overall, service & food was ok.

I placed a phone order for togo on a Thursday night and was very surprised of the quality and price of each item we ordered. Although the order took longer than expected, the service was attentive. For a party of four, we ordered the pork larb, veggie tom kha, panang curry with chickem thai fried rice, paid thai with chicken, and druken noodle with pork. Everything we ordered was delicious but we especially loved the panang curry, fried rice and pad thai. These three items are a must order! The larb was also very flavorful. I would recommend trying this place out!

This isn't a place I'd order from again. If I was desperate I'd choose fast food over this stuff. I love peanut sauce, and I know every family does things a tiny bit different one place to the next, but this peanut sauce was actually unbearably not tasty. I'd describe it as nasty. Messed up. Not a sauce I wanted to touch anything -- I had a good variety of food in my order. I got pad Thai, and some beef dish... the beef was dry and tough, and the sauce didn't do it any favors... the vegetable at least is fresh and they cut their veggies nice and thick so you can tell they're real and freshBut I'm seriously impressed by how this place calls itself an authentic Thai restaurant serving this stuff. --And I'm a pretty considerate critic bc I cook, and I try lots of different peoples versions of different things..... on purpose. It's a hobby and passion of mine. But that peanut sauce was not just sub par, it was bad..... bad enough for me to go out of my way to write a review I wouldn't feed it to a dog. The food, yes, I would feed it to a dog. That peanut sauce can burn in the lake of fire, though it was horribly offensive in its flavor. Like someone with a putrid signature body odor, this restaurant is giving "uniquely off putting" a new name ..... it's OCHA Thai And I'll tell you thisIt's not giving "authentic" it's giving ... if they put a Thai restaurant in a mall food court ..... likeLOW quality questionable meat using American style Chinese foodWhere you just know they let raw meat go a little bad and still sell it anyways cuz times are tough back there . And as an American I'm not gonna act like I don't pull up and mess with that every now and again, because believe me, I do. But I know what I'm walking into . in a really disappointing .... EvenOffensive way This restaurant is on my ess aytch eye tee listI'm offended that they advertise this restaurant in a way that had me spend money with them Only to find out I wasn't going to get the authentic Thai food advertised I was going to get played out of some money for garbage I'm offended because this is the worst thai food I've ever hadPretty hard to mess up Thai food for me ... Pad Thai was fineI'll give them thatTheir pad Thai was easy to "pick at" But flavors not on point, ingredients not singing the songs of those delicious flavors you expect in a good pad Thai Everything honestly suckedThere was no flavor of any single morsel of food that I loved so much to have another biteout of the 3 dishes we ordered the food has all just been sitting here for like 30 minutes now and I thought I was so starving before it cameBut I haven't even made a dent in anythingIt's really not goodPeriodI tried to be nice and not hinder anyone's financial success with a negative reviewBut then I thought of you not getting played out of your hard earned cash and wasting your precious timeAnd I saidHold the phoneWe gotta yelp about this place. We have to warn the other sensible cultured people who don't have to be a victim like I was They can just avoid all this

I hate to leave a bad review, however I'd like to be truthful to my experience. The portions were large, but that didn't make up for the poor quality. The Mongolian beef was mostly vegetables and had an odd taste. The chow mein was lacking pork (paid extra for the pork add-on) and tasted bland, and the orange chicken was overwhelmingly sweet with a strange flavor. For the high price, I expected much better quality and taste. The meat for all the dishes had a very cheap taste, especially the orange chicken. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.
