Missing screws
Pool area lacking an oasis feel
Comfy bed and pillows
The orange window is my rooms window overlooking the pool on Las-Vegas Blvd.
Looks like window was washed with a sandwich
Get there early to claim that bean-shaped lounge bed
Roaches smeared
Decent room no refrigerator or microwave

One star because the games inside and outside are fun, Would not recommend staying in the hotel. -Security guards working the weekends are extremely rude, make you feel like you cannot come back in if you want to leave to walk around or smoke outside. They ask you if your going to your room, the bar, or the back area literally everytime you walk through the front door. -Floors 4 and 6 reek of urine and chemicals -Room did not smell as bad but had many flaws (see in pictures) bathroom appeared to had been flooded multiple times, bathroom door, baseboards and door frame were all waterlogged. Bathroom door also missing hinge screws. AC unit cover was broken exposing a large amount of dust and hair in the filter. Whoever does the maintenance, painting, floors, and caulking should learn how to use tools.

The room was nice, but I didn't like that we couldn't check in like at a regular hotel. Everything was locked, and we had to be buzzed in. Additionally, checking in required going through the club and being escorted for safety reasons, which made me uneasy about possible past incidents. The place also didn't look as appealing as the photos. Overall, I feel like it's overpriced for what you get.

Great vibes when you check in. At night time there are backyard games and a DJ at different days of the week. Club atmosphere vibes to party or have a great time, they have pool tables as well on the first floor. The hotel also provides pool side views if you want. Fremont Street is walking distance. The room was simple with a modern retro touch. Definitely will return.

Convenient downtown location, but the rooms require much needed renovation! The bathrooms are tiny and filthy.

To explain my experience I have to tell it chronologically. We were coming to Vegas for a concert and most places were sold out. We selected Oasis because it looked like a nice boutique hotel near downtown Freemont street and from the pix we saw it looked nice. When we got there, we checked in at the place we thought we were staying - a smaller boutique looking hotel with a fabulous pool as you walk in heading to the front desk (which looks newly renovated & upscale) The girl at the desk was friendly but the goodness of the experience ended there. She didn't explain it very good so it took a minute to figure out that they do NOT have covered parking. They give you a hanging tag to park in either of 2 public lots in a very seedy area of downtown. Next, to get to our room she pointed us toward the building at the corner of the property which is "The Gold Spike", a much older hotel in not as great shape as we were expecting - but the adventure was just gearing up...We went into the building and we're looking for the front desk but had a hard time finding it because the entire floor is a nightclub. (BTW - they don't even have a "front desk" in the Gold Spike building) Later that night the club was playing music so loud that the entire building shook it felt like. And during club hours, they made us wait at the elevator for a security guard to escort us through the club to the front door and did the same when we came back. (It was later explained that they have had trouble with guests trying to bring knives & guns into the club from the hotel)The building is 6 floors and they had only one elevator which took forever to arrive whatever floor you are on. Our room was on the 5th floor and it was super noisy outside from the club music, motorcycles & loud cars outside. (They actually had ear plugs waiting for us on the nightstand when we got there) A few good things about the room: It had been (kinda) renovated & had hardwood floors. The pillow top mattress would have been more comfy if there weren't deep divots on each side. And the best thing about the whole experience is that they did have good products in the bathroom...but don't get your hopes up, that's about it for the goodness. The tub finish was peeling and desperately needed to be redone. We had a very hard time sleeping with all the noise and less than comfy bed. In short, we basically got hoodwinked and this was a horrible experience - we won't be coming back!

Let me just say the The Oasis was great BUT, the hotel is connected to the Golden Spike. The Golden Spike hotel was awful! IT smelled like cigarettes and old rugs. Even though the rooms LOOKED clean, they were Not! The rooms were wiped down with a dirty smelly towel because the whole room, hallway smelled badly. We couldn't even hang out in the bar area or order food from there kitchen unless we LEFT the hotel and entered through a different entrance. Even at night when the Golden Spike was a club/bar we could not get in. As guest it's important to know you can go to your room at a moments notice. We'll NOT at the Golden Spike. We had went to a football game and they wouldn't even let us back in the hotel because they don't allow jerseys inside. We told them we were staying at the hotel in one of their rooms. We went to the Oasis to tell them about all the rules and disruptions but the Oasis could not do anything. We had to force our way back in to get back to our rooms. NEVER AGAIN will we book at the Oasis or Golden Spike NEVER!

Nice enough rooms for the price. Good location. Great staff. Came in for CES when everything else was egregiously expensive, and Oasis ended up being a fantastic, cheaper alternative.Brian and Sabrina at the front desk were wonderful.
