We did the 'buy five onigiri, get one classic free' deal:Curry Chicken Katsu - Pickled Radish, Curry sauceSpider - Fried soft-shell crab, cucumber, unagi sauceUnagi - Unagi, cucumber, unagi sauceSpicy Ahi Tuna (Raw) - Raw tuna, cucumberBeef Bulgogi - Grilled marinated beef, sauteed onions, lettuceSimple, clean, and delicious. For most of the onigiri, not too many ingredients and good combination of flavors. My favorites were the curry chicken Katsu and beef bulgogi. Spider and unagi were also tasty. Spicy ahi tuna was the weakest in flavor. Rice is properly cooked.Service was good. Small amount of seating for dine in.

I've been immersed in Japanese culture ever since I was born because I'm from Hawaii, but somehow, I've never come across Okinawan onigiri until now! Where has this been all my life? The Okinawan onigiri reminds me of sushi taco, open musubi, or rice version of a Subway sandwich. i.e. They lay out a bed of seaweed and rice, fill it with ingredients, then fold it over to create an Okinawan onigiri! They have a wide variety of options like bulgogi, chicken katsu, potato croquette, tofu, and more. All of the options come with egg and spam unless you get a vegetarian option that comes with vegetarian spam instead. We got the chicken katsu and krabby onigiri. The chicken katsu was crisp and tasty. The imitation crab was filling and tasty as well. We were looking for a light dinner since we had a big lunch earlier, but just one onigiri was still satisfying and filling. I like this a lot more than regular onigiri because there's less rice and more filling in this one.The shop only has a few tables and chairs, so we actually walked around the plaza first to let the current customers finish eating, then returned later once a table was free. They have a bathroom for customers as well, which was nice and clean. If you're looking for a satisfying snack or meal, consider the Okinawan onigiri rather than a regular sandwich or sushi!

We stopped by Oonigiri and tried the tofu kimchi katsu and the curry potato croquette which were both were amazing! The tofu katsu was perfectly crispy, and the kimchi added just the right amount of flavor. The curry potato croquette was so tasty, with rich, flavorful curry that made it super satisfying I would HIGHLY recommend. If you're looking for a quick and delicious snack, Oonigiri is definitely worth a visit! They also have a vegetarian substitute if you can't have normal spam.

Stopped in last Saturday at lunch for a grab and go snack. Ordered three onigiris and took a seat to wait for my order to be prepared. I was disappointed to hear the explicit...and I mean explicit...music being played in this restaurant with several children present. Needless to say, a family-friendly establishment at noon on a Saturday does not warrant nightclub music. My guess is that the owners are unaware of what the counter service staff is playing for music in the restaurant. As for the food, it is overpriced mediocre onigiri. Disappointing all the way around.

Found a nice spot to grab a quick meal/snack to go. Restaurant was clean and they had a few tables for sit down service. Service was friendly and food was made as you ordered. Ordered the Beef Bulgogi Don which consists of Grilled Beef Bulgogi & White onions, 2pcs Pork Gyoza,Sesame and Green onions. It may be my personal preference that the meat to rice ratio was a bit light on the meat. Also the bowl could use a bit of sauce to keep the meat & rice from tasting a bit dry/bland. Nonetheless, I would come to try the other items on their menu.

This place is absolutely amazing!! Looking for places to eat dinner at on a Wednesday evening, my husband and I decided to stop inside O.Onigiri. O.Onigiri is located in the Shanghai Plaza off of Spring Mountain. Parking is relatively limited, but we did find one spot towards the entrance!O.Onigiri offers Okinawa-style Onigiris. The O.Onigiris are typically filled with spam, egg omelet, and extra ingredients! Everything is prepared at the time of order! The food is made fresh! Some of their most popular Onigiris include the followingClassic with Teriyaki SauceUnagi (Unagi, cucumber, and unagi sauce)Chicken Katsu: Cabbage, Katsu SauceAvocado: Seasoned Rice, Spam, Egg, Furikake, and Seaweed Avocado. Teriyaki sauce. There are some other O.Onigiris to choose from such as Kimchi, Shrimp Tempura, Grilled Pineapple, Beef Bulgogi and so much more!We ended up getting a Chicken Katsu O.Onigiri for $8.25. There are a few tables inside the restaurant that you can sit down at and eat! There was only one other party ahead of us, so we didn't wait too longer for our order, less than 10 minutes! The customer service was outstanding here too! When our order was done, they called out our order number and asked if we needed anything else! The Chicken Katsu O.Onigiri was delicious! It was loaded with rice, spam, egg, chicken katsu and plenty of the katsu sauce! I would order that O.Onigiri again!! This is a must visit restaurant if you're at the Shanghai Plaza! The food is great, the team members are awesome, and the price is inexpensive!

This spot is a clean and modern place to grab some only Jere during a lunch break or a quick snack. I ordered the Vege Tofu Katsu which is crispy tofu with teriyaki sauce onigiri. It came with a spam and eggs as well. The rice was well made, and the seaweed had a great texture. I like that it was served with just enough sauce, but not too much to overpower the other flavors of the ingredients. I should have grabbed a packet of Sriracha or some hot sauce, but otherwise I really enjoyed it. I ordered it to go and I'm really glad that it took only about 5 to 10 minutes to be ready. There are some seats to have but it's a very small space and I wouldn't recommend large groups or groups with a bunch of kids to eat inside. The bathroom is kept up as well. It is clean in there. Overall loved this spot and I'll be back!

I picked O.Onigiri because I hadn't had the pleasure of trying onigiri. There's no time like the present! I was especially pleased to see the number of vegetarian options (thanks for thinking of the meatless crowd, O.Onigiri). It allowed me to try vegan spam for the first time, which worked so well with the egg, rice, and seaweed. I will say that this "sammie" needs a sauce, and the curry sauce is a good way to go. You'll leave happy and satisfied!

Love love love the concept & the food! So simple and so delicious! I would've gotten two to try, but I was on a foodie trip so I needed to make sure I save some stomach space. (It's a marathon & not a sprint)I got the unagi, my friend got the classic & my husband got the spider! We all loved our food! I really wanted to try the bulgogi and the kaki! This is definitely a great spot for a snack or if you get 2-3 it could be a delicious meal! They also have appetizers that sounded great to try! I will definitely be back! I wish there was something like this in San Jose! :)There are a few tables for dining inside!
