We had dinner at North Italia in Henderson to celebrate my wife's birthday, and while the atmosphere was stylish and trendy, the overall experience didn't quite justify the cost. The modern, farm-to-table aesthetic is definitely appealing, and the service was polished, but the meal left us feeling like we overpaid for what we got.We started with the Little Gem Caesar, which was fresh but nothing special, and the Crushed Meatball, which was hearty but not particularly memorable. For mains, my wife had the Ricotta Cavatelli, a seafood pasta dish with shrimp and scallops, while my mother-in-law had the Tortelloni Chicken Pesto, which was creamy and well-balanced with fresh vegetables. The food was good, not mind-blowing, and the portions were reasonable--but at $234 for four people with no alcoholic drinks, it felt way overpriced. While the ambiance and plating are on point, the pricing makes it hard to justify a return visit. There are plenty of great Italian spots that offer just as good food at a better value.

My sister and I wanted to treat ourselves and saw this place on yelp. I was shocked with how gorgeous this restaurant is ! It is very open and has lots of seating but it is not crowded in any way! The service was great and our waitress was happy to give us any recommendations when we were stuck between decisions. All the food we got was AMAZING!! The only thing I would say wasn't great was the lasagna. I was excited to try it since its white sauce instead of red but it was lacking flavor. The meat on top was the only thing that had flavor and it was a really small plate, its pricey too so it was disappointing. I would highly recommend you come and try this place!Carpaccio- 5/5- Everything on this was great, I loved the sauce that came on top!Truffle garlic bread- 5/5- The waitress recommended this and it was so good! The butter that came with it was really good and all that cheese!Yellowtail- 5/5- The yellowtail tasted really fresh and everything that comes on the plate goes with it perfectly. Lumache pasta- 5/5- I wish we would have ordered 2 of these! It was really good and the sausage pulled everything together so well. Lasagna - 2/5 - The meat was the only thing that had flavor, the rest of it was plain.

Welcome to Henderson! About time we had a place like this in district. Especially when options like this are limited. We have been to North Italia in Cali and we are glad this place is here. We love the vibes and the gorgeous patio! We got in before the rush on a Friday night and boy it was packed! There is a wait if you don't have reservations indoor. We wanted the patio so we can bring our dog. Yes well behaved dogs are allowed on patio. No dog menu though. Just water. Our server was so kind! He welcomed us and served us drinks immediately. We ordered the calamari, chicken pesto pasta (Trottole) and lasagna which had short ribs. Calamari was fresh and delicious..I didn't like that spicy mini salad next to it though. I wanted more for my serving though! The lasagna with the braised short rib was the perfect size. Meat was cooked well...soft that you don't need to chew. I like that it was not heavy! The white sauce and cheese went so well together with the beef. My husband really liked the chicken pesto pasta. I wanted to try the desserts. They all looked amazing! Maybe next time. Love the ambiance here for a Friday night. Definitely can't wait to come back. Price is expected for the location. This isn't the cheap side of Henderson.

Chain Italian restaurant working to be upper end establishment. Reservations needed most of the time even and on school days. Modern open floor setting with covered patio is a nice plus. Parking can be tricky at this location. Menu is Italian with a modern spin. No complementary bread and butter that I have seen. Pasta dishes are good and rich while pizza is sub average. Average salad offerings. Desserts are great! Liquor is on expensive side. Had them add amaretto Disaronno to my coffee and that took my coffee price from $5 to close to $20. Pricey shot at 1500 percent markup from the store. In general North Italia is lovely place, but don't expect top notch quality. Portions are also on a small side for Italian restaurant!

All right, so I finally got myself to North Italia -- both locations actually within a week span. Situated within the District at GVR, I'm happy that this newer location is closer to me in Henderson. However, it still has a few kinks to work out compared to the original. It features the same open-concept dining layout as the one in Summerlin, where you can see into the kitchen. They also have bar/patio seating and private room options. On this visit, we came a little after 3p and were seated immediately. We chose a table in the bar area to partake in happy hour (3-6pm weekdays). The average savings on these items is about $3-4 off regular price. We got the CACIO E PEPE ARANCINI and SMOKED SALMON AVOCADO TOAST as HH appetizers, which are just enough to get started. I tried the MARCO POLO COCKTAIL, which is Japanese whiskey with lemon, honey, and ginger, served with one ice cube. Pro: stronger side, refreshing. Con: garnish missing (at least Summerlin presented it with a dried citrus)For my entree, I had the STROZZAPRETI, which is a cream-based pasta with chicken, mushrooms, spinach, and pine nuts. (Make sure to chew the spinach thoroughly. I almost choked, as it's slippery and can easily get stuck in your throat.) Aside from that, it's really good and filling. Cooked al dente, just like in Italy.Service was kind of lacking, which was surprising since we observed a lot of staff just standing. Maybe they were training. Our server didn't really check up on us either. No offer to ask if we wanted another round of drinks. I had to ask him to get my water refilled and to see the dessert menu. So there's room for improvement as far as service goes. I'm sure it'll get there, so for now it's missing some stars.

Every single bite made my eyes tear up a little. The food was absolutely delicious. The interior was gorgeous and we sat in the outdoor heated patio. Beautiful views. The service was just a tad bit slow even though we got there before the evening rush. However, our server was very friendly and helped us decide what to get. The ONLY thing that wasn't just to die for was the braised short rib lasagna bianca. The short rib was absolutely delicious and melt in your mouth good, but without the short rib the flavor of the lasagna was very much lacking. That absolutely does not make this place lose any stars. We got the beef carpacio, truffle bread (o..m..g) and I got the truffle pasta with the yellow tail crudo. Succulent, flavorful just *chefs kiss*

We took friends to NT and had an excellent evening. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. The ambiance is wonderful. It's a very nice warm and contemporary atmosphere and all four of us loved our food. I enjoyed their vegetable noodles and marinara sauce. Their sauce is primo. My wife raved about the Salmond and our friends gave two for their shrimp scampy and pizza. My answer it YES, we will be back soon.

Finally got to check out North Italia at their new location at the District in Green Valley. The location is a new build in the north parking area of the District. We went on a Sunday night without a reservation and were told there would be about a 30 min wait. We ended up getting seated in 15 near the bar area. The restaurant had a great vibe. Perfect for a night with friends or a date. They have a large outdoor patio that has heaters built into the ceiling so it actually keeps the area warm in the winters. The food was okay. Some of it was really good and others were not so much. Overall, it felt like a fun place to go for drinks and some apps but a bit overpriced for the price of the pasta and mains. BURRATA DI STAGIONE (4/5): this was pretty good. Just wished the poached pear didn't overpower the burrata so much BEEF CARPACCIO (4/5): the sauce that they had over the beef carpaccio was a little overpowering TUSCAN KALE (5/5): this salad was great. The kale had clearly been blanched to make it easy to eat and all the component paired perfectly together LITTLE GEM CAESAR (5/5): perfect Caesar saladBOLOGNESE (2/5): I was really unimpressed with the pasta. The pasta itself was not very good and the sauce felt like something that could be purchased at the store. Overall disappointing, considering that it is their house specialty
