I've been hearing a ton of good things about Nom Pang like how their banh mi is the best in the city. Nom Pang is quite far from us and takes a bit of a drive. But three of my friends have recommended them so we decided to go for a drive tonight. We got to Nom Pang around 5PM and they were not busy. They do normally close at 6PM though so that is probably why. They had about seven tables at the establishment but it was spacious and not crowded. Whenever you're ready, you order at the front and take a seat. They will bring you the food once it's ready. My husband and I both ordered the Nom Pang Special which has pate, ham, headcheese, steamed pork, steamed pork belly, and minced pork. All of their nom pangs come with mayo, house sauce, cucumber, green onion, pickled carrots, cilantro, and jalapeno. We got an order of their chicken cha kreung (stir fry) to try as well as a thai iced green tea. The chicken cha kreung came out first and it was pretty decent. There's plenty of spices in the stir fry and the rice was so fluffy! I got the dish in mild spicy since my husband can't really eat that much spice but I think it would be way more delicious if it's spicier. They also serve it with a side of pickled veggies and those were also really good. We couldn't finish this dish so we brought home the left overs. I think a crispy fried egg on top of this dish would be stellar. The Nom Pang Specials were huge! They were completely packed with ingredients. The flavor combinations were on point and exactly what I looked for in a banh mi. They had enough mayo, enough pate, and they had that soy seasoning that takes a banh mi to the next level. After having their Nom Pang Special, I will have to agree with everyone that has said that their banh mi is the best in town. It is the best in town. However, the only downside to it is that their pate/mayo runs thin and the banh mi gets soggy at the bottom. I normally only eat half a banh mi but I didn't want to risk it being a complete soggy mess the next day so I ate the whole thing. I am stuffed! The thai iced green tea was super good as well. It wasn't stupidly sweet like the other thai teas I've had. And it was super floral and fragrant with jasmine flavor. It had the perfect balance!Overall, I LOVED Nom Pang and I can't wait to go back for their banh mi & other dishes. They have daily specials as well so be sure to give that a try if any of them interest you!

Spicy Lemongrass Vermicelli BowlNom Pang delivers on fresh, bold flavors, and my Spicy Lemongrass Vermicelli Bowl was no exception. The ingredients were incredibly fresh--crisp cucumbers, bright pickled carrots, fragrant herbs, and perfectly cooked vermicelli noodles all came together in a vibrant, colorful dish that looked just as good as it tasted. The lemongrass-marinated protein (I opted for chicken) was packed with flavor, with just the right balance of spice and citrusy brightness. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, making each bite refreshing yet satisfying. The customer service was also warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure guests felt taken care of. However, the wait time was a bit of a downside. It took over 30 minutes for my food to come out, and I noticed that several people who ordered after me received their meals first. While that was frustrating, I understand that some dishes are simply quicker to prepare than others, and restaurants these days are often short-staffed. That said, a heads-up about the wait time would have been appreciated.Despite the delay, the food itself made up for it. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident, and the flavors were well-balanced and satisfying. If you're craving a fresh, flavorful vermicelli bowl, Nom Pang is definitely worth a visit--just be prepared for a possible wait during busy hours! My

Okay, so this place was a totally unexpected win! I walked in, wasn't sure what to expect, and ended up being super happy. I grabbed the chicken curry with rice to go and threw in a black sugar tea boba for good measure.First off, the boba. It's definitely on the lighter side, sweetness-wise. Not gonna lie, at first, I was a little thrown off since I'm used to super sugary boba. But it wasn't bad! It actually let the tea flavor come through, which was a nice change. Some folks might want it sweeter, but I didn't mind it.Now, let's talk about that chicken curry. Seriously, love at first bite! It was SO flavorful, like a warm hug in a container. The spice level was just right - a little kick, but nothing crazy. And the portion? Huge! I had leftovers for days, which is always a plus. It was just warm, comforting, and exactly what I needed. Honestly, I'm already planning my next trip back just for that curry. It's a must-try!

Wow! I'm so excited about this restaurant, especially since it's closer to my side of town. We've been needing more restaurants like this on this side, and this is exactly what we needed a family-owned Cambodian gem!Their main focus is on their Nom Pang, which translates to "bread" or "sandwich." And let me tell you, these sandwiches are fully loaded and packed with delicious flavors! Be patient with them because their food is made to order, which makes the wait totally worth it. Great amount of meat, veggies, pate and flavor. Everything is so fresh and yummy!I ordered the Nom Pang Special, and I loved how stuffed it was. For the price, it's an absolute steal! There are so many places in Vegas that overcharge for similar baguette sandwiches, but this place offers great value for your money. The ambiance is cozy, open, clean and inviting, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. It's clear that the family puts a lot of love into every detail of the restaurantThey also have a daily specials menu near the register, featuring other traditional Cambodian dishes if you want to try something beyond sandwiches. Plus, they offer a variety of drinks like Thai teas, milk teas, slushies, and coffee. I tried their Thai Tea, and it was perfect not too sweet, with a great bold tea flavor that wasn't bitter at all.Overall, I'm thrilled to have this restaurant in our neighborhood, and I highly recommend it!

What a gem! We can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.If you like banh mi, you'll love this sister sandwich, too. The bread was fresh and crispy, the veggies abundant. The lotus salad had such robust flavors, with sweet, sour, and umami front and center. One sandwich and a salad was plenty for a lunch for two.The ambiance is more stylish than I would expect from a counter service place. They've clearly thought about making a nice environment, even for an inexpensive family place. We appreciated the owner coming by to greet us and make sure we were enjoying. If you don't live in the area, it's worth the drive to check out a cuisine not represented elsewhere in Vegas.

Everything was delicious. Restaurant was clean. We came in a breezy afternoon and it felt great. The staff were very nice and friendly. But service is very slow. It took longer than most restaurants to get our food. I'd recommend placing an order in advance before heading there.

I was recommended to try this place out and I was impressed. The customer service was great and very helpful when explaining their menu. The menu is easy to read with a variety of items. I tried the Jalapeno Panini, their Nom Pang special and curry, along with the coffees. All items were huge portions and they all tasted very good. I will be a regular at this location.

Delicioussss food and portions! The ingredients are wonderfully fresh. Something about it just tastes so homemade, just great ingredients. If you're by the area, swing by for lunch. Salaw machu kreung (5/5) - daily special pork rib and veggie soup. SO GOOD!!! I'm not Cambodian but somehow I felt like I was home? The slightly fatty pork rib, veggies I could never choose right at the market, sticky jasmine rice, oh my gosh I'm having an identity crisis. Nom pang special (5/5) - toasted bread, fatty and firm meats, crunchy veggies, creamy pate... what more could i ask forThank you to the sweet owners of the place for focusing on quality, local vibes, and wonderful taste.

Squidlett and I had lunch plans that fell through, so I was free to head to Santa Fe to donate to their pension fund earlier than I usually go. So I figured why not come here again for their killer bang mi type sandwiches. I opted for the spam and egg AGAIN... To the dismay of my doctor, I love spam and probably eat it way too often. The spam and egg banh me style was $8.00 and as I said previously, it probably good for two.Love the crunchy baguette and the juicy spam dripping into and mixing with the veggies... pure gastronomical heaven. I hoovered that puppie down and off to throw my money away at Santa Fe ...Just wish they offered a military discount, but maybe someday.

First time trying Cambodian food, and Nom Pang did not disappoint! I came here with my native Cambodian friend and her husband, and my friend said the food was pretty good so I was excited. The restaurant is not very big; there were only about 8 tables inside, and when we came on a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was packed. The seats were metal and not the most comfortable to sit on, but it wasn't a big deal. Everyone orders at the counter and you seat yourself, and the staff remembered each party's order without needing to give us a table number. They have a menu with special Cambodian-style sandwiches, American sandwiches, and a few Cambodian Vermicelli bowls where you could order either rice or noodles. I ordered the Chicken Curry with rice, which ended up being about $13, and my friend ordered the Chicken Curry with noodles. Her husband ordered the Milan sandwich. I asked if they could adjust the spice of the Chicken Curry, and they said they could not unfortunately. They also sold chips and other snacks on the side. Our order took at least 15-20 minutes to arrive, and they did not come at the same time. When we all received our orders, everyone was impressed with the food. My Chicken Curry with rice came in a large bowl and a huge serving of rice, and it was piping hot. Though the curry was a little spicy, it wasn't too much (probably a 3 out of 5). There were huge chunks of juicy chicken pieces and vegetables. My friend's order was with noodles, and they really loaded the noodles to a point where it soaked up most of the broth.I ordered the Lemongrass Beef sandwich to go for my husband, and he said the sandwich was really good. Meat was not fatty and all the vegetables gave the sandwich a nice crunch. Overall, the food was great and the Cambodian family running this restaurant were all very nice. It was great to see so many folks coming in for their sandwiches. My only complaint is that the food does take a while to come out, and we all went without drinking water for a good while under my friend told the staff that we were still waiting on our waters.
