No. 1 Boba Tea Chinatown

Truly No.1 Boba Tea located inside the Chinatown mall! I wanted to try some Boba while in Chinatown so we decided to drop by here! We got the following drinks: T 9 Taro MT : a sweet taro milk tea with delicious brown sugar boba! Not sure if they make their own boba but when we got our drink the boba was a bit warms so I'm thinking that's why They tasted really good though with the Taro! Tropical Red Bull GT - a quick pick me up after a long day of walking! The Red Bull added a kick to it and the tropical had a citrus flavor with mango jelly. M18 Lychee Coconut Twist - this was our favorite the taste of the lychee with the coconut cream made for a sweet creamy drink. F16 Lychee Dragon GT/BT - this was similar to the coconut twist. It was fruity and tasty exactly what you'd expect from a lychee boba drink! The service was quick and the staff was friendly ! They have a huge selection of boba options so plenty to choose from!! Make sure to drop by while you're in Chinatown for some amazing boba!

Ordered two drinks. Thai tea and milk tea. Very watery and definitely Americanized. Service was ok and shopping center was nice.

I really wanted some boba after a lunch of dumplings in this strip mall, so we walked over to No. 1 Boba Tea. I've been to other locations but never to this one. Walking in, I recognized the menu so I knew exactly what I was going to order. Funny thing, my mom gets a bit crazy when there's too much choice so she asked the girl at the register what the most popular flavor/which she likes the best was and the girl literally just stared at her and pretended to not speak English. I felt bad so after I paid, I left a big tip in the jar. My mom leaves the store to go to the bakery around the corner and the girl no longer has this issue. Now I'm not trying to be rude here, my mom's English isn't great and she does have a thick accent so maybe that was the issue but I thought that was really odd. They also stared at us the entire time they were making the drinks while we stood there uncomfortably. I left the room because I hate being stared at, which led to my second problem!I love durian. I am one of those people who want that stinky onion-y foot juice. I love it. I went ham on it in Thailand when I could get my hands on it. Mango sticky rice? Nah! Durian sticky rice. I had no idea they had durian because it's on the menu outside, but not inside. Another strange thing. I also ordered a taro milk tea but was given a taro slush instead. Everyone else in my group ordered a slush so I guess she decided to make me one too? Maybe I should have let her stare at me? I didn't notice because I left the store and I didn't want to go back.The slushes were good and the price point is better than some of the other locations but I don't believe they use fresh fruit. Still good though. 4 stars for flavor.

My son recommended this place, so I decided to try it. OMG! I got inside and the menu was giant, so many choices!! The counter person was quick to ask me for my order, but I wasn't ready. I had to read everything! So many flavors...the possibilities! I decided on the pineapple coconut twist with lychee jelly. It was amazing...so refreshing! Prices are about average for these drinks...kind of like the Starbucks of Boba! It was fairly quiet when I walked in for an afternoon. I can say they are Number 1! Thank you for a most excellent drink.

Nice quiet spot within the chinatown mall! They have many options to choose from and they can customize your order the way you like!! I ended up with Blueberry slush and it was delish however next time ill probably ask for extra sweetner!!If you are nearby stop and give them a try

Hubby got the thai tea and I got the toffee milk tea. Both were good. They weren't the best that we've had, but they were tasty. The boba also had a great consistency. The service was quick and the price was normal boba price. It's a small shop located in an Asian shopping mall.

Delicious drinks especially the Red Bull infused! We like to come here in Chinatown for their boba drinks!

Quality wise it's okay compared to what I'm used to in LA. The price point is great and very affordable. Boba quality was decent, but nothing outstanding. It hits the spot if you want some boba. It's near Sakana Sushi, which is a great AYCE place in the same plaza.The service was fine and had no issues. It's a pretty big and open space where you can chill for a little if you'd like.

great Boba! have been coming here for years! excellent service and just a relax place to shop and get drinks. 10/10 would recommend for boba
