Nielsen’s Frozen Custard

Cute place. Ice cream is a little expensive but you can taste the quality. I went in a little before 3pm and it wasn't busy at all. I spent about $10 for a topper which is just two scoops of ice cream in a cup with two toppings

Review #71 of 2024December 22 visit around 1:20 P.M. Stopped by for a chilly dessert... believe it or not, 64 degrees feels warm in winter! Christmas laughter abounds! We always have a great time at Nielsens, thanks to the friendly staff who treat us with kindness. This time, we ordered five cake cones to enjoy our vanilla custard concrete topped with caramel, and another with vanilla custard mixed with mint and Oreo cookies. Nielsens consistently delivers on flavor and service. As a family, we highly recommend it and it's our top choice whenever we're in the mood for frozen custard.

So obsessed with this custard! My friends and i got all different flavors. Mine was the original sundae and the hot fudge was so amazing. Great treat and would come back many times.

A year ago I went to the new Durango location and was disappointed but this time coming back to the original location, I am in love again. Although the custard is still quite sweet, it had more flavor and didn't just taste like sweet fat. The chocolate custard that I got with graham crackers was recommended by the cashier and it did taste a bit like s'mores. Anyway happy visit and love the retro decor.

First time at this location Deville was friendly and kind. Ryan is the sundae master. He prepared a wonderful masterpiece of my sundae mixed with vanilla and chocolate. The store has so many items of past memories. Love this place. Lots of parking. Give this location a try you won't be disappointed. The ambiance is magical.

My favorite ice cream/custard shop! I love to see what their flavor of the day is! Chocolate chip mint is one of my favorites! I always add pecans & when I'm feeling fancy I get carmel sauce too.

We came to this place after eating tacos next door, needed to have something sweet. Glad we came, it reminds me of Coldstone, kind of. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wanted to order custard with my add ins and they could only do it if you ordered the pint size and I wasn't going to eat that much and didn't want to order that much.So she just did my add ins like a sundae and we did it that way instead...not what I wanted but it was ok in the moment. The custard was very good. I enjoyed it. Glad I didn't give in and order the pint sized, I would have never eaten all of it.I liked the decor and the vibe...cute place.

Now I am typically lactose intolerant, but a trip to Nielsen's is always worth the Lactaid. The menu is simple and easy to navigate. They really have three flavors to choose from, vanilla, chocolate, or the flavor of the week. From there you decide if you want toppings and enjoy your decadently sweet and creamy custard! I was in and out in a breeze, but enjoyed the vintage decor and seating while waiting. Definitely a Las Vegas classic!

We love Nielsen's and wanted our youngest son to get his feel of SpongeBob for the 25th anniversary celebration so we took him to get our favorite custard! The space was decorated for Halloween and it was super spooky with a touch of vintage. They did a great job! All the employees greeted us with a smile and a "Happy Halloween" which made our teen smile We ordered a few of our regulars but for this occasion we got the Krabby Patty Let's just say he was in awe of the custard... so much so that he didn't want to eat it Well he had it for dessert and loved it! He said it was really creamy and he didn't taste any dye, which is impressive and important! Thank you Nielsen's for helping us keep our teen happy

The custard here is delicious! It's so soft and creamy, you truly enjoy each bite. The coconut crunch on top was like icing on a cake. It's so good. I'm not a huge fan of floats but it wasn't bad. My boyfriend got a coke float and enjoyed it. I would recommend here. Nice quick friendly service.
