This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. The food is absolutely delicious! Flavors are mind blowing and so clean. Never do I feel heavy after I leave this restaurant, I always feel perfectly satisfied :) It's a bit pricey but it's worth it because you get the freshest ingredients. It's the only restaurant that I know that has been consistent in using the freshest and cleanest ingredients. I discovered this restaurant when it first opened and it never let me down. Next time I'm there, I promise to post some photos :DP. S. Even their miso soup is a step above any other miso soup in town! Yup. They're that good! ;)P.P.S. Their fish is completely raw. If you can't eat raw fish, this place is not for you.

Speechless. It's nothing like this when I come with my friends I don't know what happened. Nothing is delicious anymore. Everything is so bad. Some might be fried and fried over and over again

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a mixed experience. We were greeted promptly and seated right away, but the service felt a bit chaotic. The hostess, who was juggling multiple roles, took our order, but we felt rushed, especially since it was our first time there. After browsing the menu, I wanted to add more items, but she told me to wait and didn't return until our food was dropped off from another staff. When I tried to place my additional order, the staff abruptly told me to wait and walked away mid-sentence, which was a bit rude.Once some of our food arrived, the waitress asked if we wanted the check, even though we were missing a couple of dishes. I mentioned the missing items, and she told me they could cancel them because they were still making the A5 Wagyu Uni Maki. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend that dish.It had carrots that threw off the flavor, especially for $35.Overall, the food was decent, but the service definitely needs some improvement.

Small restaurant, but really great contemporary Japanese style food. Nice selection of sushi, sashimi and cooked items. Happy hour available. The service was fast, and the staff is always very friendly.

We wanted a light lunch so stopped at Nene Japanese Contemporary Bistro which we have done on a few occasions. Service was prompt and friendly. K ordered the sushi lunch with spicy tuna roll. I ordered the chirashi bowl. Miso soup and salad arrived for both of us. The miso soup was lukewarm so it would've been more enjoyable for us if it was hotter. K's sushi lunch was perfect for a light lunch and he enjoyed it like he normally does. This was the 1st time I had the chirashi bowl and I wish there was more variety like shrimp, surf clam, scallops or octopus instead of so much white fish. We will keep going back but I'll probably stick to the sushi lunch or sashimi lunch.

Tried Nene Japanese contemporary Bistro for the first time. The restaurant was empty at lunch time on a weekday. I think this location is tough because there are tons of restaurants but not too many offices and other businesses. The decor is cute and very Japanese. It's small but very comfortable with high ceilings. There was only one waitress. Service was average since she was running around doing other things. But she did fill our water before it was empty. The two of us ordered two items from the lunch special menu: the Sashimi Lunch with Spicy Tuna Roll and the Unagi Bowl. Each of these came with a small salad and miso soup. Since my husband does not eat raw fish, I only ordered three pieces of sushi from the special menu: Kamashita Toro, Noten Aburi, and Salmon Trufflr Aburi. We also ordered a Ribeye Steak with Special Japanese Sauce from their Robata Grill. The lunch specials are actually pretty good deals, less than $20 for a pretty decent meal. There're seven pieces of sashimi in the lunch special and they tasted fresh. The Unagi Bowl also came with quite a bit of unagi with a tasty sauce. The ribeye steak was a bit overcooked, kinda medium well instead of medium, but it was not tough and had a very nice grilled flavor. The three pieces of sushi from the special menu were all really good, especially the Kamashita Toro.Overall it was an enjoyable meal. This is a pretty solid Japanese Bistro with a wide variety of options for different tastes.

Definitely one of my favorite quality Japanese Sushi spots in the South West. I'd even say that this place is even as good as some top tier places in Las Vegas. The easiest thing I'd tell you is to order any of the specials. Must try is the Kamashita Toro, Salmon Truffle Aburi and Noten Aburi. Those three alone are already worth the experience alone. The Omakase is a great option if you can't decide as they customize each nigiri which would be different than the version you'd order al a carte. The vibe of this place is pretty decent as it's a small little location with pretty cool wooden design throughout. Although this location doesn't seem like a huge fancy Japanese spot, the food does justice that not a lot of sushi places can even compare to. Definitely my favorite sushi spot when it comes to just sushi.

Phenomenal food, service, and establishment. My friend and I absolutely loved the spot. It was our first time here. We ordered the chef's special for 2. It came with 7 pieces of nigiri, 2 rolls, and sashimi! They were beautifully presented and prepared. It was also paired with a miso soup and side salad. The fish tasted fresh. The flavor was amazing. Our waiter was helpful and efficient. He brought our drinks and orders out quickly and without any issues. He checked on us regularly and we didn't have to wait too long to get our check after we ate. The interior is modern and perfect for date night or time with friends and family. Not too dim inside which I'm a huge fan of. Plenty of natural light to light up the room as well.

My wife and visited NeNe on a Tuesday for lunch. NeNe is located near the Chuck E Cheeses on West Flamingo and Grand Canyon. There was plenty of parking available. We ordered three of the lunch specials. The Sushi Lunch, Onzen Beef Bowl, and Chirashi Bowl. The specials came with a small side salad and miso soup. Everything tasted decent. Would have preferred larger portions (who wouldn't these days)The server was very attentive and would visit our table and inquire if we needed anything. The mood was a bit low key and comfortable. I remember going to this place when it was a sushi burrito place and do hope they make it.
