Got an event? Need for Sweets is one of my go tos! Ruth is a great communicator and makes it work for our schedule when picking up my orders! Our favorite dessert from here is their Silvanas!!! I've been to several countries in Asia, Europe, Canada and all over the united states and they have the BEST silvanas!!!

I located this business on YELP as I wanted to support a local business during COVID-19 pandemic. I reviewed the website and found the perfect cake for my son's 5th birthday. I contacted Ruth through her website and she got back to me really quick to confirm everything I wanted on the cake and the price. I paid for the cake in advance on Venmo. Ruth even sent me a follow up email to confirm we had no allergies before she made the cake. I arrived at her home to pick up the cake and she had the cake ready. I actually had brought cash with me as I completely forgot that I already paid her the week before on Venmo. As we were socially distancing and it was a swift transaction, she contacted me by email after to let me know that I had double paid her and Venmo me back my money. I was really touched that she was so honest to let me know as I completely spaced out about the situation. I was so busy setting up my son's party I Way overpaid for the cake at that point. The cake was magnificent and everything I could have wanted and more. It was a party for two, with just me and my son. I ate this entire cake over a course of 5 days. I'm not even kidding. It was that good and I don't even love cake. I even had to freeze a piece to save for my Dad for when he visits hopefully in a few months cause I was bragging about how delicious It was. Ruth really ruined all cake for me for life because now I will only be ordering from her!The frosting is super special, like it has sugar crack in it. I'm not sure what is in it, but it is damn good. My son just loved it and it was completely worth the money even if it was just the two of us. What a special thing.

I'm just going straight to the point!!! Ruth's work is incredible! She's so talented!!! I contacted Ruth and she was very responsive!! I gave her a picture of a cake I wanted made .., and she was able to make it look better than what I asked. The cake was moist and delicious! I asked for recommendations and she was on it. I had a two tier cake. Bottom cake was pure chocolate and top was mixed with fruit flavors!!! This was a very important event and the cake added a special touch to my mom's 80th Birthday Bash!!! I'm so glad o found you Needs for Sweets !!!!

I was so happy with the cake Ruth made! I was having a surprise 50th Birthday Party forMy husband . I wanted this funny toilet paper cake . I showed her a picture and it turned out even better than the picture ! I was so pleased the cake tasted as good as it looked! I tried the marble with vanilla mousse . My husband likes simple flavors so I didn't get to try some of the other special flavors Ruth makes . After this I will be trying something else ! Thank you Ruth for doing such a great job!!

We celebrated our BFFs' birthday party with a tea! we dressed up for the occasion and we were all surprised at how dainty the set up was... the host, Ruth, was very warm and accommodating and has carefully selected and prepared each food and drink by herself... everything beautifully presented but also very tasty! We are all very pleased... and full LOL...

DELICIOUS CAKE POPS! Ruth's cake pop is rich and is of high quality! We ordered 9 dozen for $42/dozen since they were customized for our wedding 5*12*19. I emailed her and she was very informative and replied as soon as she's able to. She's also very friendly.

I can't say enough nice things about Ruth. My family and I flew into Vegas from Fresno for a surprise 60th birthday for my mom. I expressed to Ruth just how important this dinner was and she went above and beyond to perform. She made the cake BETTER then the image provided,.. and she also delivered the cake with more then enough time in advance to the restaurant. I truly can't thank Ruth enough for her hard work. Not only was the cake gorgeous, it was Delicious.

We had both a cake and cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday, and everything was delicious. They were light and tasty, but not too sweet. To us and our guests, everything was perfect. We would definitely order from here again.

Ruth makes deliciously amazing cakes! It is the best in Vegas! I would recommend to anyone, specially the Ube cake!

Found them on Instagram after seeing a pic of their silvanas! I had to try them right away so I DM'd Ruth and she made the order process sooo easy! I picked them up the next day and got a dozen assorted silvanas (matcha, cookies and cream, original, ube, mocha, and chocolate) I will definitely be ordering more from her!
