Mott 32, originally hailing from Hong Kong and decorated with many accolades, is an upscale Chinese restaurant pulling cuisine inspiration from many regions - Shanghai, Szechuan, and Beijing included. The billboards outside of the Venetian sure do lure you in, but the experience, in sum, is a huge letdown despite the tantalizing pictures outside the hotel. For starters, the restaurant was barren inside but our waitress still seated us towards the back of the establishment, pretty far from the entrance and past the vast array of patronless tables. The space definitely is gorgeous (though labyrinth-esque with its decorative nooks and crannies and rows of hidden booths). We ordered the prawn toast, duck salad, salt and pepper tofu, traditional pork soup dumplings, and duck glutinous rice dumplings. The portions for everything were measly given the sky high prices. All would have been forgiven had the food been delicious but everything was subpar. We ordered a hot and sour soup that was simply inedible and had to be sent back - the first time I've had to do that in years. The pork dumplings were pedestrian and lacked the opulence that "Iberico pork" entailed; Din Tai Fung's are better. The cardinal sin was the persistence of cloyingly sweetness that persisted throughout every dish. Mott 32 makes it no secret that they cater to the western palate and the additional sucrose in every dish is blatant. Not a fan. When upscale Asian food is done well, I can return time and time again. Unfortunately, this is a one and done. The $128 Peking Duck that requires an advance notice to order is intriguing but not intriguing enough to tempt me to visit a second time.

Several weeks ago, I dropped by this place around 2pm for a late lunch. I saw there were a lot of empty tables but they said that they were reserved, and I had to sit at the bar. Weird. The bartenders, however, were very friendly. I wanted to order their signature bbq pork buns but they were sold out. Instead, I ordered the shredded peking duck and mushroom spring rolls and the xiao long bao. Both dim sum were savory and piping hot. For a drink, I got the Prince of Wan Chai which came with matcha, black sesame and cream. I liked the flavor combination but it was a bit sweet.

Date of Visit: 2/23/2025We visited Mott 32 at The Venetian Las Vegas for our early dinner on Sunday. It was our second visit, and the reservation was easy to make on the same day. Mott 32 is a Michelin star restaurant in Hong Kong, and expanded across the globe to Singapore, Dubai, Las Vegas, Vancouver etc.One of the most popular dishes is the 42 days Peking Roast duck, but you will need to pre-order at least one day before. We tried that last time so we decided to try something different.Traditional Iberico Pork Shanghainese Soup Dumplings (4pcs) $15We got the soup dumplings from the Dim Sum section. The 4 pieces of thin skin and juicy pork filling of the dumplings were very good!Shredded Peking Duck Spring Roll, Mushroom (3pcs) $14The shredded Peking Duck spring rolls were very crispy outside with the mixture of duck and mushroom inside.Pearl Meat Soup, Sea Conch, Black Chicken, Matsutake Mushroom $38 per personThere were a few options of the soup, and this one with pearl meat, sea conch, black chicken, Matsutake mushroom, white fungus and goji berries was nourishing but not too heavy.Wok-Fried Snow Pea Tips, Minced Garlic $34For the vegetable, we got the minced garlic wok fried snow pea tips. The snow pea tips were fresh and crunchy, mixed with garlic and cooking oil was very tasty.Yeung Chow Style Fried Rice, Prawn, Iberico Pork, Asparagus $36And for the main course, we got the Yeung Chow Style Fried Rice, with a mixture of prawns, iberico pork, asparagus, and egg. The portion was nice for 2 people, and definitely a must-try.

Popular high end Restaurant in Las Vegas inside Venetian. Ambiance very nice. Great five star service . Peking duck is very delicious but didn't find other courses exciting. Cocktail drink is okay. I thought they over seasoned my Old fashioned with Duck fat wash ! lol

Mott 32: A Decent Fine Dining Experience in the Venetian Casino Area!We walked into Mott 32 and were seated after a brief 10-minute wait. Our experience was a mixed bag, with some dishes shining brighter than others.Hits and misses:- Free Range Chicken with Chilli Peppers: Just okay, with too many chili peppers and a popcorn chicken texture (would skip next time)- Eggplant with Pork: Flavorful and enjoyable- Regular Fried Rice with Veggies: Tasty and satisfying- Stir Fried Shanghainese Noodles with Prawns: STANDOUT DISH! Flavorful and addictive - we requested another serving!Overall, our experience was decent, but not exceptional. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was upscale and elegant. While Mott 32 didn't blow us away, it's still a solid choice for fine dining dim sum and authentic Chinese cuisine at Venetian hotel.

If you want the Peking duck, you must preorder a few months in advance. If unable to preorder they may offer one on the day of if someone cancels or if they have extra.Ambience inside was nice and staff were friendly. However the chef that came out to carve the Peking duck wasn't as friendly and barely interacted with us or introduce himself as we were watching. We sat at the tables for dinner, but there is also a bar area if you're just looking for some drinks. Their drink menu seems to have a lot of good options.Overall the food quality was good but most items were too expensive for what it was and nothing outstanding. We got the chocolate dumpling dessert because it looked cool, but it just tasted like cold chocolate.

My sister and came here for dinner before going to a show. We made a reservation in advance (highly recommend this, because you know things get booked out so quick!) We had a reservation for 5pm on a Sunday (still pretty busy for a Sunday!) When we got there we were a couple minutes early and were told to wait a couple mins, and shortly after that we were seated in the back near where the kitchen is. We ordered sooo much food. The menu is pretty large, so we had to scan the pages a couple times to make our final decisions. We got some shrimp noodles, mapo tofu, xiaolongbao, Sichuan chicken, mushroom spring rolls, and I think a couple other things, but it's been a little since we went so I can't fully remember.Overall the food was VERY good. I loved the mushroom spring rolls, chicken, and tofu! The xiaolongbao were ok but not my favorite, and here's why. When we were picking them up the outsides of them were pretty thick on the top area and not as delicate as xiaolongbao tend to be. They were also pretty stuck on the steamer and the bottom of them were a lot more thin, so when we tried gently taking them out they almost all ripped before we could get them off (I'll also mention that we are not new to the delicate nature of xiaolongbao haha) other than the outsides being too thick and them not staying together well, they still tasted fine! The service was good, our waiter was attentive. And the ambiance is dark haha I honestly can't remember what kind of music was playing, but I just remember that it was dark! If you're looking for some good Asian cuisine, I'd recommend booking a res here!

All the dishes we ordered were INCREDIBLE!Softshell Crab, Smoked Black Cod, Lobster Ma Po Tofu, Crispy Triple-Cooked Wagyu Beef Short Rib, Sautéed String Beans, Alaskan Crabmeat Fried Rice, Stir-Fried Shanghainese Noodle, Free-Range ChickenYou can't go wrong with anything, although the Wagyu Short Rib & String Beans were crowd favorites. The vibes are also immaculate, as you'd expect from any fine-dining spot in Vegas. My only complaint was the service wasn't great. We had to flag down the waitress a few times (which was tough because she was hardly ever within view)!
