Montana Meat Company - Durango

Unfortunately, this place is closed. Looks like they closed on January 10, 2025. It's very sad as this was a Las Vegas staple and has been here for over 20 years.

We been coming here for the longest for their graveyard menu / deal and every time I come I always leave this place a 5 star review but tonight is a different story. As soon as my boyfriend and I walked in it felt off, I don't expect the bartender to say hi or anything but he already looked at us weird. We sat down and instead of coming up to us he yelled from behind the bar in front of everybody who walked in after us "can I see some ID". Like okay? Why didn't you ID everybody else who walked in. Then instead of walking to us to give us the menu he makes us stand up and walk to him. He proceeded to take everybody's drink and food order, who came in minutes after us, not only did he take their order and take his time to go back to the bar to put it in he also serves them as well. He makes his round but skips us. I asked if he could come over to take our order and instead of coming around the bar and take our order he stays behind the bar and ask us what we want to order. We told him if he wanted to come around and write it down and he says "do you think I need to write it down" . With people all around us we don't think it's appropriate to yell our order across when there are people all around us and the music was playing loud... it's just rude. I don't understand why he couldn't just come around and take our order normally.. the same way he did for the other customers that again came in after us. After that he then said yeah wait hold on and moves on to the other people at the bar takes there order and talks stories with them. We then waited an extra fewMinutes till I had enough and was already annoyed. We walked out and we left. Never have I ever been treated like this when I been here. The waiter / bartender was a bald guy with glasses and the guy that is usually there is a young guy with a beard who is always amazing to us. Sucks because we was really looking toward go ordering waffles and the sky burger as usual but that waiter ruined our whole experience and appetite. I'm not to sure what we did for him to treat us the way he did but that was just rude.

I've been to Montana's Meat Co countless times over the past six years, and they never disappoint with great service and delicious food. On a recent Friday, my friends and I visited this location and sat in the restaurant area. We were quickly greeted by Sage, our server, who made our experience even better. Sage was friendly, helpful, and had such a positive energy that really added to our meal.I ordered the potato skins, a side salad, and the prime dip sandwich--everything was incredible! Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We've tried a variety of items over the years, from appetizers and wings to tenders, pastas, sandwiches, and more, and it's all been consistently amazing. It's never too loud inside, they even have a separate bar area for the smokers & gamblers which I appreciate that it's separate at times. Montana's is definitely one of my favorite spots in Vegas!Keep up the great work!

From the service to the food, I've had great experiences here. The bar has a smoking section and the dining area is non-smoking. The burger is fantastic and that Philly is one of the better ones I've ever had. Perfect meat to cheese ratio and that roll it's on? Wow. Also ice cold beer helps. Glad this place is right next to us.

Great breakfast called, Big Sky Breakfast. Large servings, great potato's. I'm a little confused some other Yelpers had said the place was closed. I drive by it regularly and it is open. I found out today that there was a location in Centennial that closed. Durango & Blue Diamond location is open.

We stopped by here had a meal and beer. It was not bad. We were at the bar side. One bartender working so it took a minute to take our order. It's not a bad neighborhood bar.

Montana Meat Company is a must try! Walked in on a Friday night and we were greeted and seated immediately by our server Sage. What a great experience! Sage made sure we had drink orders, appetizers and tons of help with all of our modifications to the food! Everything came out so delicious! We started with the potato skins, which came out hot and crispy! Followed by chicken strips dinner and a French dip! The strips came with multiple sauces and plenty of them! The refills never lacked as Sage was there immediately to refill our drinks and clear our plates. Such great food and even better service! We can't wait to come back!

Spent $54 for one good'ish burger and another that had to be re-done and still wasn't done right. In what world is this medium rare? My 12 year old couldn't even choke down the overcooked burger after waiting for them to try again. Wasted money.

Food-Excellent Service-ExcellentI ate here for the first time and will be back. My son and his wife have been here many times and they said they never have had a negative experience. I had the flat iron steak, Cajun style, and it was cooked perfectly. Next time I'm going for the rib eye. Prices are good and it's pretty quiet place. 5+ stars.
