Their turon is delicious, perfectly picked sweet ripe bananas (every time), crunchy caramelized on the outside My bag of pandesal lasted for over 2 weeks (I placed the bag in the fridge), still tasted good like freshly baked, just air fryer it for a few minutes

Was recommended by someone to come and try the corned beef pandesal and to come early because they sell out -- I called ahead of time and was instead able to place an order to pick up! Placed my order and was able to pick up after 40 mins. Very easy process and the ladies who helped me over the phone and at the register were so nice :) Reasonable prices-- For 8 corned beef pandesal, 4 chic empanadas and 2 turon my total was $34. - corned beef pandesal was so good!! Bread was soft and fluffy and very freshly baked! (but if you didnt grow up eating corned beef or hate certain mushy textures, i would be wary) - chicken empanadas not so good; it was definitely chicken it just didnt taste like anything but veggies- turon was good; freshly made, so crispy and sweet! They also had plenty of other filipino desserts available on the shelf - I'll definitely be back the next time im in town :D

This review is for their ube pandesal. I love ube pandesal and the pandesal part of it is delicious however I don't care for the filling inside. It seems like that they cut a block of cream cheese and stuffed it inside an ube pandesal. The cream cheese does not melt so when you take a bite in the center, all you get is a chunk of cream cheese. I removed majority of the cream cheese and then I was able to eat it. If you're looking for ube pandesal, I do recommend but expect that as a filling.

This place is located in Summerlin Las Vegas. I was craving some Filipino dessert and I came across this restaurant. As I entered inside, I felt like I was at my aunts house, the smell of soul food Filipino style...I decided to order the Turon, it is fried bananas, with jackfruit inside and wrapped in egg roll wrapping. It was Delicious! I also order the halo hair, yummy. It was topped with ube ice cream, macapuno (coconut jelly), beans, ice shavings, jelly, and corn flakes, it was DA Bomb! Can't wait to come back!Enjoy !

Got to try a Chicken Pan de Sal from the Merienda bakery located in the Island Pacific Seafood Market on Silverado today. My husband's coworker which is Filipino introduced him to them. He loved them and brought me home some to try today :) Omg it was so delicious the Pan De Sal is a Filipino dinner bun. It's a round soft hot Roll with a golden crumb-coated exterior. When I took a bite it had a slightly sweet flavor and a fluffy texture and it was filled with a shredded chicken mixture. It was so soft and nice and warm. It was delicious and taste very fresh like it just came out the oven. I went on the menu before writing my review and saw they have many other desserts options like Ube Pan Del Sal, Spanish bread, Monggo Hopia, etc. I really want to go back one day with my husband to try some other stuff there and also get more of the Pan de Sal. Oh and they only cost $2.25 each. Not bad and the one I had was very filling so I saved the other one for my daughter to try when she got home from school, which she loved and enjoyed as well! My husband said the service was fast and he was in and out in no time. I'm glad this bakery is so close to my home. I can't wait to check it out for myself soon!

Have tried a handful of their products...Excellent carioca. THE BEST. I like the jackfruit filled ones. The pichi pichi is also very very good!!! Recommend!!The poor items are: buko pie and the ube crinkle cookies. Both have no flavor. Zero. I had 3 other (Filipino) people try them. They all agreed these items sucked. The ube crinkle cookies had NO ube flavor!!! Just tasted flour-y. Stick to Filipino stuff!! The buko pie tasted only of cornstarch!!! Ewwww. Who buys this??? I can't imagine anyone liking either of these, let alone have repeat buyers of this stuff. Still, will try their other items, just stay clear of the buko pie and ube crinkle cookies!!!
