A hidden gem tucked away in a plaza. My boyfriend and I came when it wasn't busy (only one other table.) Cozy store that has a TV and little decorations. I liked how homey it felt. We ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, Musashi Ramen, and Karaage chicken. Both broths were flavorful. The tonkotsu was very pork forward and super rich. However, the Musashi was my favorite. The unami notes added another dimension of flavor. The karaage wasn't too crispy (might've been because we put lemon juice over it) but was super juicy, paired with the spicy mayo, it was great.I am assuming there was only one person working who was the owner. He took our order and was constantly going back and forth to accommodate the different tables. Our order came out pretty quick and it was delicious.Overall, I would definitely come back. The ramen was a great price for the quality that it was. Super hidden gem!

Delicious! Was visiting Vegas and of course craving Asian food. We found this place as it was close by to our AirBnB. We placed an order for take-out over the phone, because unfortunately, we weren't able to place an order through their web platform. The person who answered the phone seemed a bit overwhelmed. I've heard that the owner does everything, so placing a large order for take-out may have been a lot for him to handle in addition to the customers dining in. It took about half an hour for our food to be prepared. The food was packaged nicely, with the broth and noodles packaged in separate containers and the containers were clearly marked indicating the package contents. I ordered the spicy butter ramen. It was very rich! And had a wonderful kick to it. I think that the butter helped to soothe some of the spice, but I appreciated that i could still taste the spiciness. We also ordered sides of chicken karaage and takoyaki. Both were solid.

My husband and I have been here twice. The first time was during dinner and the other time was for lunch. Both times, only the owner was there to help us. The second time we were there, he gave us two free sushi rolls. The second time we went there, we also noticed he added new items on the menu -- mainly appetizers. We've had the same order both times -- garlic ramen for my husband and a neo tonkatsu ramen for me. Consistent taste and good quality both times. I like the thin noodles, and the chashu is very soft. The ambiance is simple, but not everything needs to be IG worthy. we'll probably keep coming back because it's somewhat close to us, the food is good & consistent, and we receive good service. Would recommend others trying it out.

I am so amazed by the owner of this establishment - he does everything, and it is all amazing! He surprised me with some eel sushi on the house to start my meal and it was delicious. I ordered the fried chicken karaage, spicy ramen, and to-go lemon ramen for my husband. Everything was so fresh and authentic. Highly recommend checking out this gem.

First time here and we love it! It's a one man show, Harvey-San was very generous and the ramen is amazing. Just like you are in Japan. The service is a little bit slow but worth the wait. The atmosphere of the place is very positive. Highly recommended hidden spot. Arigato Harvey-San.

Best customer service ever and owner seemed to be working solo this day. Humble place and food was delicious. Didn't get a chance to get a picture of the ramen Wayne ate. We will be back.

MIND BLOWINGLY DELICIOUS RAMEN $12-$15!! The ramen is SOOO RIDICULOUSLY GOOD, that you'll be willing to overlook the rest of your dining experience. No need to travel to Tokyo, just come here for your ramen. If you just pretend this is a ramen place in Tokyo with 4 individual stalls but an invisible long line, your experience would make more sense. The owner is the only full staff here. He will being adding more staff later. So for now, you have to be down for a weird experience but guaranteed great to ramen! And little to no questioning.Good for small groups or couples? On a Saturday night 7pm, there was only 1 other couple for dine-in, and 1 takeout. He seemed overwhelmed. 1. Once you enter, take a seat at the bench and wait to be seated. Depending on how overwhelmed the owner is, you could be waiting for a bit. Expect some cultural differences...meaning you'll get listened to, but maybe no vocal responses in acknowledgement or such. If he's busy, then be shuffled with hand waving like how a busy food stall would be like in Tokyo.2. Once seated, read the menu for ingredients and such. Wait to order. If you don't see some items, you can request it and see what happens? So we learned many items like CA roll is not on the menu and just given free depending on his free time. 3. Wait for your food quietly and to yourself. Very Japan like lol No music is played. The tv is on but on a very low volume. The restaurant looks dead so it's a very confusing experience. Anytime someone enters/exit the door, you'll hear a loud ring chime song. The owner wear all the hats here as a chef, host, waiter, cleaner, etc. Limited English, and Japanese type custom. So don't expect Westernized hospitality. From reviews, it seems like this place is for dine-in, and not take out? $15 Musashi Ramen. If this is the ramen without the brown visible spot sauce on it between the 2 ramen we got, then it's both our favorite!! Difficult to tell because he gave them so fast. I didn't hear what he said. He offered the chili oil container ok the table to add into it but I didn't need it. It was too good to taint with anything else. $12.95 Neo Tonkotsu Ramen was still really good too. SO loved adding the chili oil to his. $8 Cucumber salad doesn't look like the photo. It's simple, with a sweet vinegar flavor. Unsure if it's worth $8 but he also gave us a free seaweed salad. 4. Pay at the register. Owner overall is very nice. He is down to socialize if he isn't stressed and overwhelmed with orders. Next visit, we definitely are interested in getting the -- $15 Musashi Ramen Again!! $12.95 Lemon Ramen (seems like the dipping noodle) Ask for the CA roll, and other hidden goodies not on the list.

TLDR: I equate this place to what I imagine eating a home-cooked meal in Tokyo would be. The owner said he lived and worked in Tokyo for over 20 years. I really hope you put this place at the top of your ramen list when visiting/searching Las Vegas cuisines. I also like that it's closer to the west side of town so you don't need to drive deep into Chinatown for ramen. Please do taper expectations in terms of speediness of service. The food is worth it, IMO.My husband and I visited Japan back in October and since then we have been on the hunt for ramen even remotely close to what we enjoyed there. Jinya and all the other local places were not cutting it anymore... that is until we heard about Menya Musashi from a foodie colleague. We came on a Wednesday evening around 5PM and were initially the only ones inside but eventually 2 other parties came in for dinner. If you want to feel as close to authenticity that I think you can get here in Las Vegas.. simplistic ambiance and menu included, then I highly, highly recommend this place. Although patience is needed for seating and food preparation, because the owner/server/busser is a one-man show.. you can tell the heart and care that has and is being put into this restaurant. We ordered chicken karaage, edamame, takoyaki, Musashi Ramen, and Neo Tonkotsu Ramen... but we ended up with so much more. I think the chef was trying out some new items for the menu or not sure if this is the typical Modus Operandi.. but we also got 2 rolls of sushi and paper wrapped shrimp on the house. Needless to say, we were quite satisfied and stuffed with some extras for take home. Also, note that he only had coke, water, and sprite to drink at the time. The ramen broth was very hearty (though you could tell a lot of butter was used which I think is what made the richness). Personally I thought my musashi ramen needed a little something which the chili oil on the table satiated perfectly. The toppings were great and not too over the top -- chasu, menma, bean sprouts, seaweed, soft egg -- and everything melded well together. I was definitely a fan of the sushi rolls. The karaage was also probably the best I've had outside of Japan. Everything tasted freshly made (at least day of) and not frozen/defrosted or sourced from some food distributor. As we left, the owner was very grateful for our dining experience and we shared the sentiment. He also said he's gotten notes that the sushi rice made people full before enjoying the ramen so he's happy to make sashimi or nigiri instead, if we call ahead of time. We hope that traffic picks up a bit -- again it's a little off the beaten path in a small shopping center -- please patronize, bring the customers, so hopefully he can stay open and hire more employees. Also make a reservation on Yelp so he knows what to expect. You can also order online to go.All in all, I think we have our new mainstay for ramen :)

This is a new authentic Japanese Ramen spot in the Spring Valley area, and I can 100% say my husband and I approve! The inside is spacious and has 8 tables with four seats each, which can easily be put together for larger groups. We found the Japanese owner attentive, kind, and funny. We ordered the Takoyaki as an appetizer, the Neo Tonkatsu Ramen, and the Lemon Salt Ramen. The owner gave us a free spring roll along with our Takoyaki, which was very kind of him. Now, onto the food review:Takoyaki: There were 6 large pieces topped with bonito flakes. Each ball was piping hot and had a generous portion of octopus. Out of all the takoyaki I've had in Las Vegas, this is the closest I have had to the ones in Japan (namely from Osaka area). My husband does not like seafood but he enjoyed the taste and texture of the takoyaki. I give it a 5 out of 5.Neo Tonkatsu Ramen: It comes with standard ramen toppings (egg, pork chasiu, bamboo, bean sprouts) and a generous portion of noodles. My husband usually orders extra noodles, but there was no need to this time. The broth itself is on the lighter side and did not have a heavy oily taste, which my husband likes since a lot of oil can mess up his gut. Also, the pork chasiu was DELICIOUS! We give it a 5 out of 5.Lemon Salt Ramen: Lemon-broth ramen is not a common dish, so of course I had to try it. And it delivered! Alongside the standard ramen toppings, it came with two slices of lemon and had a light lemon taste in the broth--which gave the broth a refreshing taste. Like the Neo Tonkatsu Ramen, there was a generous portion of noodles and the broth was not oily and heavy on the gut. I told the owner that this ramen is PERFECT for those with colds because of the lemon properties, and that I would definitely get this again on our next visit. I give this a 5 out of 5.Overall, we HIGHLY recommend this new ramen spot and hope to see them earn more business soon. The owner also gave us a stamp card where you get your 10th ramen order free.
