I've eaten here before and it was great. Unfortunately I have Celiac and their staff told me that their injera is made with barley, not just teff, so it is NOT gluten free. Now that I have to eat gluten free, I can't eat here. Luckily I can purchase some of the spices that I need here to make Ethiopian food at home such as koseret, mitmita and ajwain.

After falling in love with Ethiopian food in Los Angeles, I was on a mission to find a great Ethiopian spot here in Vegas. After a few tries, finally found this great place. Not only can you get your favorite Ethiopian entrées in the restaurant portion of the business, but you can also buy spices, traditional foods, and even pick up a delicious homemade cake to bring to a friends birthday party. What a great place! So glad to find traditional Ethiopian food and products. But, of course, my favorite thing to do is to go inside and have their traditional plate. Highly recommend!!

This is a combination of a restaurant and grocer in an area with an abundance of Ethiopian options. It was very quiet on the Saturday afternoon when I had lunch; the person who took my order described it as their slow time. I hope there is a fast time.I had the veggie platter which was quite reasonably priced at $12. The lentils in a berbere sauce were smokier than normal, which was a nice changeup. The other dishes were close to standard fare and were tasty. The injera they use is teff, not the teff/wheat hybrid that is in many restaurants (this is important to me due to allergies). The seating for the restaurant is small but quite comfortable and I enjoyed the atmosphere here more than some other places. They get bonus points for that. So, very good option for Ethiopian food and spices.

Blessed Love! I found this market on the west side of town, randomly looking to find Berbere. I picked up some Lentil varieties, and look forward to researching some recipes to cook up at home. They have injera available behind the counter. I look forward to sharing some Ethiopian eats here soon.

Melkam Market has it all. You can eat freshly cooked Ethiopian food. You can also buy the famous Ethiopian flat bread Injera (take away). They also sell all the ingredients you need to cook authentic Ethiopian food if you love cooking; I am. If you are interested in collecting some cultural items, it is part of their offer check the pictures I posted. They value good customer service. You will be welcomed with smile.

Clean, delicious, and superb customer service. I have been to many Ethiopian restaurants around the country. I have always had one issue - cleanliness! But this place doesnt disappoint. They did a great job with their decor and food is of high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. This is my go to restaurant in this area.
