My girlfriend and I swung by Monday night for one of their hosted game night! The game hosted was called the blood on the clocktower which was a seduction game that's much like werewolf and among us. Upon entering, Adam who checked us in showed us the kitchen, how the board game rentals worked, and I kindly introduced us to the group as well. Being super new, I felt very welcomed by the story teller of the game: Michael. It's also $10 all day access to rent out board games or $25 a month.Meepleville also offers a variety of food here to snack on while you play board games. They offer foods like sandwiches, chicken tenders, ice cream, French fries and tater tots, etc. all for a very reasonable price as well. We ordered the chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, tater tots, and a cold drink in the fridge. Overall, we had a blast! From the selection of board games, from the extremely friendly staff, and the convenient small bites offered; I can't recommend meepleville enough. So glad we came!

Meepleville Board Game Cafe, at 4704 W. Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89102, inside the shopping center on the northeast corner, far northside stores. Check out Meepleville.com for details. Meepleville garners a 5-star rating from this mom! Our LVHSG Facebook group, that sponsors homeschool field trips and social meet-ups for kids all ages, invited us to check out the Meepleville Board Game Cafe, open 12n-11pm for kids and adults all ages. It took three tries and a drag (had to drag my teen to last month's meet-up), but I finally got him there. He wanted to think "board games" were lame. I encouraged him to try this, just one time, as a social event. I told him that he didn't have to play games and he could just chat with other teens, like the Teen Coffee Meet Ups. Of course, like many homeschool field trips, the Meepleville store blew him and other teens away! It's wall-to-wall board games, card games, good food and drinks, and so much more. We were there for three hours and it wasn't enough. My teen really liked it. He enjoyed going into the other area, playing Uno with several teens, and talking about things boys talk about when parents aren't bothering them ... lol, mostly which online games most have tried. (The girls had other games to pursue!) My 15yo teen definitely wanted to come again, every month. This worked out for me, too! How many moms out there crave adult conversation while sitting around waiting for their kids to finish an event? Well, I got to enjoy that, too! You know ... happy kid, happy mom! I sat with three other moms, two I knew well enough from other events, and new mom I met at this event. Everyone is so friendly, very nice, non-judgemental, and willing to contribute to some delightful laughs and info sharing. If you have a chance to drop in when we're there - please do, and be sure to step on up and join the moms. We're the ones with the adult sippy cups that are laughing a bit too loud, lol - and be sure to let us know you are there for this group, lol, because we enveloped another small family who had come on their own and didn't know who we were, lol! Like I said ... "everyone" is welcome, including this mom and her children, lol, unbeknownst to themselves. Attendance varies month to month, lighter in the summer, more in the winter. All ages are welcome, with plenty of room to separate into age appropriate groups - lol, including a moms group! We ALL look forward to meeting you![Hang out and play board games at Meepleville. They have over 2,600 games and a cafe with food and drink. Cash or electronic payments are accepted. $10/person (this includes non-playing moms), $5/kids 10 and under.] All ages welcome. Check out their events list!

Took the opportunity to beat the unbearable Vegas summer heat recently and take a drive out there. Some thoughts...Value: Outstanding. You can pay $10 to play for a full day, or get a $25 / month pass and come as many times as you'd like. My wife and I are on the other side of town, so we're not sure if it's worth committing to at least 3 visits a month. Otherwise we'd likely be all in on the monthly pass. They also had a small food and drink selection that was reasonably priced. The managers we talked to did suggest they'll probalby hike up the price up a bit, but are doing their best to keep it as low as possible it seems like. Service: Really great. The staff probably took at least 30 mins to an hour to explain the games we picked out to us. Everyone was friendly and authentic - this is a place for and by people who are passionate about board games. Selection and Organization: Impressive. Games are organized by different types (2 player, quick games, longer games, party games, etc.). Something for just about everyone, from the popular to the obscure. We even found an old-school favorite of my wife's (Mastermind) and one I immediately remembered from my teens (Hero Quest).Food / Drink: Not too bad. Mostly snacky stuff and smaller bites, although they do have a pizza oven and can make chicken tenders and stuff. They even provided lettuce wraps for the tendies and a side of carrots... so it was a *little* less unhealty (probably countered by the pizza, LOL). Not to mention a nice selection of snacks like M&M's, PB pretzels, gummie bears, etc., that you can mix and match in a "nibble bowl". They even have a couple beers on tap and several more alcoholic bevs in cans, plus sodas and other NA drinks. They do NOT allow outside food, so keep in mind if you have super-specific dietary needs or restrictions. Maybe game plan your food before or after a gaming session. It sounds like they're okay with you stepping away and coming back if you need to.

I finally checked out this spot today after living in Vegas for a few years and I'm super happy to know a place like this exists in Vegas! As soon as my girlfriend and I stepped in we were greeted warmly by one of the store associates and owner. The store associate walked over to check on us to make sure we were finding everything we wanted, gave us a tour of the store/play area, and even demo'ed a game for us after we told him what we were looking for!Besides the great selection of games for sale, they also hold a ton of different community events every night along with a $10 for "all you can play for a day" or $25/month for unlimited play deal that gives you access to a ton of awesome board games! The environment was not only friendly but also clean and spacious in one area and more cozy in another, which was super cool. They also offer snacks, candies, foods, and drinks (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic).I'm super grateful for the owner to bring such an awesome experience to Vegas and for trying to foster a cool community of people to share fun experiences with. I would definitely recommend checking out this place if you're looking for a welcoming environment and community to play or buy board games. I wouldn't hesitate to come back to support this independent business run by a passionate owner and fantastic staff!

I've been wanting to check out this place for years, so I finally did since they were open for the 4th of July holiday. I have to say this place is legit if you like board games!! The charge $10 for admission for all you can play board games, and they have quite a large selection (which you can check on their website if you are looking for something particular). My husband and I went with a very loose list of games, and the staff was able to help us find more games and explain how they worked. They also have the board games organized, so I was able to find some two-player games that looked interesting. We went on the holiday so it was wide open, although I hear on Saturday's they get pretty jumping pretty early. We had our pick of tables so that was nice. It was just the two of us, but you could easily accommodate a large group if you need to. They do have a food stand on site, which is nice, but I do wish they allowed outside food. The food options at their place are limited, although they do have quite a lot of beverages. I wish they did a partnership with some vendors in the plaza!

Love this place! They have so many amazing board games, the staff are super friendly, and the food & drinks are reasonably priced. The board games are varied enough that there's something for everyone. Call or check online for their schedule to see what they have going on and which days would be best for a drop-in. They'll also introduce you to other players for board games to play together if you're looking to make friends! The staff take great care of the place, and the tables are always clean if they're unoccupied. Seating for large groups is also available, and the space is pretty comfortable overall. They have gender neutral bathrooms that are always fairly clean. I highly recommend the monthly membership if you plan to go often. It's $25 per month for unlimited entries, and you get to bring 1 guest for free per month. Free parking lot.
