Sushi, Live Music and Drinks is the reason why you'd come here! It is an initimate environment That provides entertainment as well as quality food and drinks.I didn't know what to expect prior to entering but all I knew was that it was a Jazz Bar. When I got in I was greeted to live music with different renditions of popular music which is always fun and entertaining to me. All the chairs and tables are angled towards the stage so you'll easily be able to view and enjoy the live music. Alongside with music, they offer sushi and other Japanese dishes. And I will say that the sushi is actually really good here. It is even better than some other sushi locations because their quality is actually good. SO that was truly surprising.They have a variety of drinks here as well, but the interesting part to me was that they had a wide selection of quality sake which definitely paired well with the sushi and Jazz. They might have Japanese Whiskey as well based on what I saw but I couldn't confirm it with my near sighted eyes.

If you're looking for a unique night out with great music and sushi, Maxan Jazz Bar is worth the visit--just be prepared for the higher prices.

This place is so hit or miss for me. The music is good and they book great bands, but the food is just so so and really expensive. The service usually starts out pretty good and then tapers off by the end of the evening too. They do have a minimum when you go, but you still spend more than that because the food and drinks are so expensive. I say it's hit or miss for me because I like hanging out here and the music is good, but I wish the food and drinks were more reasonably priced. It would make me want to go more.

We had an amazing time and the food was grea, love great fresh sushi. We listened to some R&B with Alley Star. Really wanted to listen to some jazz but i guess that's on a different night. Grown folks atmosphere. The service from the waiter was amazing as well. Well be back soon for sure.

Wow!First time being here, and I was absolutely WOW'd by everything. The Julian Miranda and friends show was going on, and the talent was incredible from beginning to end.The venue itself is very low light & romantic feeling.The food is was wonderfully delicious!I had a spicy tuna roll & the cream crab croquettes, and both were exceptional.The portions were generous, and the quality was high! Presentation of the dishes was also A+.Service was fantastic from beginning to end. My cup was refilled time and time again, the staff was friendly, and I had the opportunity to meet the owner who was so kind.I look forward to coming back time & time again!

We came here for the Friday night, Jazz music and pretty want to country although we were really good. We were expecting something we are into. We met and walked out in less than 30 minutes. The food was not grand, the fish quality was okay and the place is not fancy by any means. The parking lot has a lot of wanderers so do not leave anything valuable inside your car. The service was quick and personable. The hostess was friendly and high energy which matched the night.

Just played there on Friday, February 21 for Guitar night. I had a great time and a place was full and all my friends showed up. Can't wait to do it again. Rick Vittallo.

Older crowd, Peter-paul and Mary! I guess the vibe was right for a certain demographic of our society so I'm not going to knock them because The people there seem to be enjoying themselves!

This jazz joint in Vegas is a must-visit! Always a great experience with top-notch service, a great selection of spirits, and the perfect spot to discover incredible jazz musicians.

Great entertainment, okay food. Nice place to chill and relax while enjoying jazz without dealing with Strip traffic.
