The food is all made from scratch, homemade and delicious! We felt like we were at our aunts house having breakfast! All the homemade jellies we got to sample: watermelon, passion fruit, pineapple, strawberry and blackberry were amazing! You can buy jelly to take home as well!Therese was an amazing waitress! Her service was amazing. She was kind and helpful with whatever we needed and we appreciated her kindness! The ambiance makes you feel like you are at home. Nice, cozy and old school!!! We ordered coffee and a freshly made cinnamon roll! To die for? Omg so yummy!!! For our meals, we had corned beef hash, home fries and a bacon and spinach egg white omelette with grits. Everything was fresh and delicious! Looking forward to returning soon!

We come to Mary's EVERY time we're in town, and will recommend it to anyone who'll listen! The fresh baked cinnamon rolls are to die for, the Monte cristo is consistently the best anywhere, and the homemade jams are just perfect. With so much change in this city, it's great coming back to Mary's knowing you'll get an amazing meal and be greeted by friendly faces.

I feel bad reviewing this place. It was a rough experience with literally 2 people working in the place. One server and one cook. The empty tables were filled with dirty plates. The place isn't super clean. Tables, chairs, walls, floor needs some good scrubbing or even just a wipe down. The server appeared to be doing the best she could rushing from table to table. She seemed to be injured and tired. You get bottles of soda, juice etc. Food was okay. Cinnamon rolls were good but small. It seemed like elderly regulars come here. I wasn't a big fan of the homemade jelly's, they were all similar in taste. Pricing isn't super low or high. Standard breakfast offerings, with standard pricing in a not so clean environment.

Stopped by on Sunday around noon, prime brunch hours & to my surprise, it was pretty empty. Just a group of friends & a family where seated inside. We ordered some coffee, a waffle & their homemade cinnamon bun. All was good but I can't say that I'll be back. I don't think this was worth going out of my way for

I've lived near Mary's Hash House for quite a while now and have driven past it so many times, so I figured the time finally came to give this small little diner a chance (this visit took place in September). My wife and I headed here on a Friday morning and the place was pretty empty, then again, it was a weekday. Our waitress greeted us, filled our waters, and left us with menus as soon as we entered and that's kind of where my first "huh" moment happened. I can't explain what I tasted, but the water here was absolutely disgusting, it just tasted very off. The menu here is large and has pretty much everything you could think of ordering for breakfast, which is what my wife likes. For me, I saw the biscuits and gravy and knew exactly what I wanted, coming with a side of scrambled eggs and some bacon on the side. The food didn't take too long to come out, and my disappointment came soon after being served. The bacon was rock hard and that's just not something I've ever wanted, the scrambled eggs were somehow flavourless, even for eggs. The biscuits and gravy were mediocre at best and had okay flavour, but the meal in general was just not very good. Overall, I was extremely let down by Mary's Hash House and that sucks since it looked like the kind of place I would be all about. I can't knock the service because it was fine, I can't even knock the restaraunts look because it was kind of "home-like" and reminded me of the east coast, but the lackluster food certainly won't make me a repeat customer in a city with so many options, oh well.

Excellent place for a family breakfast gathering. Friendly service and the menu has the right elements for everyone in the group to decide promptly (it sure helps with those that can't seem to make their decision LOL)... definitely great experience and will try during lunch time

Small business, breakfast was decent. Their jams are unique and made in house. It had a home feeling with the decor and mismatched tables. The service was mediocre but not much was expected for a small breakfast place.

A hidden gem. Fresh jams and homemade cinnamon rolls start the experience. The place isn't too busy but the food was very tasty and filling. I had the eggs Benedict but tried the hash and found them both fanstic. The ambience is Very homey and delightful with a great waitress that was attentive and helpful.
