Mariscos El Mariachi #2

Absolutely worth the visit. I have found that some of these two star ratings are not always accurate for me. This spot was typical in decore and menu. The service was quick and sweet. The ladies were amazing at accommodating our party. We had a vegetarian in our group and she is picky. She loved her crunchy potato tacos. They come in a sauce so if you want them dry ask for the sauce to be on the side. I am allergic to shellfish so my choices are typically limited but this spot got their salsa verde enchiladas right. That sauce was so delicious, not spicy and full of flavor. My review is not based on the mariscos but on the dishes. Their breaded fish fillet was also very tasty.

The place was just not it. Food was slow, it took forever to get our check, and we had to send the mojarra back. It had a foul taste and smell. The cherry on top was the off/broken A/C. It was 90° INSIDE the restaurant in the middle of Vegas Summer. Unfortunately, just a big no. Def won't be back. Two starts for our waitress who was nice and for the cóctel which was good.

My family & I discovered this place about 5 years ago. It is about 2 minutes from our house and we would go there often but I would say about a year after we started going there, The service really started going down, so we stopped going. We went on Sunday at about 7:00 pm and they were closed. The Open light was off but Google says they were open until 8:00. We decided to go again last night. As soon as we walked in I noticed a sign that said "Cash Only." So we walked out, went to get cash, and returned since we were really determined to give the place another shot after so long. From the moment the lady with the blond curly hair Ampelia took our drink orders up until when we walked out, our experience was absolutely TERRIBLE! She rarely came to check on us & when she did it was when we were about done eating. They were out of Aguas Frescas, They had no lemonade or juices for kids, and the flavor of the shrimp cocktail was very bland. They used to be so good before. When she brought our bill, I noticed the 2 Coke cans we ordered were $3.99 EACH! At first I thought she charged us for the glass bottles but my husband told me those are listed at $5.99 on the menu! I needed to use the restroom before heading out and as I was washing my hands, they flipped the lights off and I was left in the dark! I felt like they rushed us out! As soon as we paid, she opened the door for us to leave and we had not taken off yet when we saw her and the cooks getting into their cars. It was only about 7:20-7:30. They decided to close early again just like they did on Sunday! I will NOT be dining here again! TERRIBLE SERVICE!

From beginning to end this place was amazing. The service, the food, and most importantly that fact that they were able to accommodate our party of 50+. Definitely recommend this location.

Fast service to pick up in house service is not my best choice last time we were here waitress was really rude blonde curly hair but over all today food was good and quick

I went to this restaurant to eat with my family and they didn't even have the ingredients to make any food it was very empty and all we had was drinks and left

We like spicy but the beans were so spicy they were inedible and watery. Service was slow. Food was lacking flavor and the prices had increased quite a bit. I don't mind paying for good food but this was not good food. The new Mariscos where HushPuppy used to be in MUCH BETTER!!!

We love this place! My husband and I have been here before so we decided to have a small celebration of about 50 people and their service was amazing. Everyone loved the food. We had vegetarians, people with allergies to shell fish, people that love sea food. We had it all in our group and they were able to accommodate everyone and everything taste amazing. Truly recommend!!

Tacos de papa were incredible. The sauce was perfect and set this dish apart from a regular taco de papa. The beans that they give wiht thr chips and salsa were darn good too.

The food was not great, my mom stated when she went a couple of years back food was yummy. Perhaps change of chef or cooks but her birthday celebration was not spectacular. Also, they imposed a 3% fee using credit card which I was not aware of, they could have done better to inform because if there was a sign it was missed with so many posted. I could have paid with cash had I known to save an extra $6.
