It was very interesting to re-visit Marche Bacchus after not choosing to go there for literally years! There is a new owner and our friends asked us to join them there... We looked through their "wine store" in the front of the facility and purchased a lovely bottle of red wine... Prince of HeartsIt is a very smooth Napa Valley wine from Blankeit. It is a Bordeaux blend meritage which is highly rated and was delicious with everyone's meal choices. Interestingly the sell it in their wine store for $99 which is the same price that it is listed at on the internet. Our server was a very nice guy who had been employed there for 5 years... He said he was sure that we would enjoy the new menu and quality!!! Caesar Salad; Artistically presented with enough of the creamy dressing. This salad has a beautiful presentation and is a delightful way to start your French food journey. Served Cold and Crisp with a few light airy toasted croutons. There was a delicate flavour and not any hint of a strong anchovy flavour. Escargot;FRESH, FRESH, FRESH! So tender and delicately flavoured. Even a person who typically would not like escargot could be tempted by Marche Bacchus recipe. Foie gras;Delicate, very slightly sweet... Order it! Great presentation and a nice serving portion. This rendition of a classic dish is beyond spectacular, enjoy it with a lovely French style red meritage wine like Prince of Hearts or for you bigger spenders Opus One or if you only drink phenomenal red wine try the Chateaux Margot from Margaux France!!!Scallops were well cooked and sitting on something similar to Escalloped potatoes. Dover Sole;Fresh, Meaty, thick piece of fish with no fishy taste!!! Light golden crust. Beautifully seasoned. Crème Brûlée; Just ordered it... Summary... Marche Bacchus is now a restaurant with a beautiful lake view, convenient wine store and Fabulous Chefs making beautiful, proper, French Cuisine. These folks are Pros. The only issue is a place to put a purse. The chairs are comfortable but the round backs will not allow you to hang a purse on your chair. My suggestion; Little purse chairs to hold your purse next to your chair like SW in the Wynn.

It's been 4 years since last I visited Marche Bacchus. We wanted something for dinner with a view. The restaurant sits on the water, providing a peaceful serene backdrop. We made a reservation and were offered the option to sit inside or outside. The outside is not technically outside during winter as it is closed off, keeping the cold weather out. With heat warmers available. Once seated it was about 5-10 minutes before, we were greeted by our server. Although he and others were circling around other tables. We ordered cocktails and water to start. The wine glass that was served had a thumb sized glob of something, possibly dishwasher substance that wasn't rinsed off prior to the cycle finishing. The bartender and server didn't see this when making and serving the drink. When the manager came around to check on us, we notified him to which the glass was replaced. Upon returning he was inspecting it as it came to the table. Odd as I would imagine he would have wanted to do that prior to leaving the bar area not on the way to the table with it. Escargot was ordered for our starter. Steak frites and a French dip were our dinner selections. The fries came out cold and uncooked. The bussers kept coming around to check on us to remove plates. It felt almost as we were being rushed out. Even our waiter and the manager added to the question were we done. It felt a bit much. From when the escargot came out to when the dinner was completed, I counted. We were asked more than a dozen times. I had stated I was keeping the escargot for dipping purposes. However, that didn't stop staff from continuously asking. Asked for hot sauce. They brought out the tiniest bottle of Tabasco sauce. It's half the size of your pinky. This must be the only hot sauce they offer. It's a good idea to ask if this hot sauce and size is what the customer would like. The food and service were okay compared to our last visit.

Food was good and well presented if you want to have a nice dinner with family but not particularly memorable, service okay. Seated at their covered, heated patio with pleasant views of the lake. Food - requested special reserve caviar but received their other option the royal caviar. It was already on the table and would be a shame to waste. Made sure to check receipt because sure enough, they charged for the special reserve. Royal caviar was buttery and not too salty. - steamed mussels were my favorite- duck confit - sauce was tasty, meat was juicy but bland. - salmon with lemon rissotto and scallops were good- French dip is okay- didn't try the other entrees and desserts served so cannot speak for it. - cheesecake brulee was yummy and not too overwhelming- Bacchus board was good for snacking. Funny no one ordered this but they still served it. Again, didn't want to waste something that was placed on the table. (I think they throw it away no? If you didn't ask for it and they take it away) We did make them aware of the mistake but we decided to keep it and they charged us for their mistake. C'est la vie. Other places would have taken it off the bill but we enjoyed it anyways. Keep that in mind if they serve you the wrong food. Don't keep if you don't want to pay. Service - I don't think the restaurant was noisy but server struggled to understand. So we ended up with two things we didn't originally order but didn't want to make it a big deal in that moment. Rest of service was okay. Everyone was nice but nothing extra special or worth noting.

Amazing atmosphere and waitstaff. The restaurant manager was personable and friendly. He and our waiter were attentive and made sure everything was just right. My Cesar Salad with Salmon was good but I went there especially for the Seafood Cobb Salad to find out it was no longer on the menu. It's literally a "fan favorite"!BRING IT BACK.... It was a neighborhood staple.

Excellent service, delicious food and beautiful ambiance. My friend and I were celebrating our belated birthdays and after our spa treatment decided to have brunch. We ordered Salmon Benedict's with a side of steamed asparagus, and for dessert we shared the most exquisite crème brûlée! Our server and the rest of the staff was attentive and I can't wait to return.

Recently came here for a friends birthday, it was her birthday brunch. When we got there, the girl at the front was nice, but our waitress was anything but nice. She wasn't pleasant or welcoming. There was at least 10 people in our party. Waitress took long with our drinks AND food. The food was ok. It was edible. Towards the end the waitress started giving us a hard time when the bill came. Looking at the other reviews on here, it seems like we are not the only people that have had this problem. She made us write down our names on a piece of paper and put down our debit/credit cards. The waitress must've gotten confused with so much that she ended up charging some of us for stuff that we didn't order. We tried speaking to the manager about this, but no solution came up, all he did was ease the situation, not fix it.

Parking can be hectic. Service was friendly. Ample seating on patio and it was the perfect day to sit outside. Shared a bottle of wine. The croque monsieur was delicious - rich and decadent. Fun to peruse the large wine shop selection after eating.
