I love it here this is the best chicken place in Vegas hands-down don't sleep on them very clean very fresh. Very nice just all around. Good service. You can never go bad here. I guarantee that.

Customer service was good. We were greeted when we arrived. We placed our order and the food was promptly made and served to us. That's where all of the good ends and the bad begins. Because every morsel of food that we ate was terrible. Didn't like the catfish, it was fishy and taste nasty. Didn't like the french fries, they were bland and hard.And didn't like the so-called lemon pepper wings that were drenched and dripping with red sauce and didn't really taste lemon peppery.Definitely won't be returning here!!!

Love the fried red snapper. Red beans and rice was excellent.Potato salad was great. Food cooked fresh to order. Friendly staff. The spot needs to be on or close to the Strip...food very very good for a neighborhood spot. Fish cooked to perfection.

First time to Mama's kitchen, small restaurant with usually an hour wait. The restaurant has modern setting with lots nice glass and silver decor. It was just me and my wife and we ordered wonton in Szechuan sauce, tantan noodles, crispy beef and fried rice. The wonton was very tasty with just a dash of spice. Tantan noodles was a little soggy for me and didn't care for it. The crispy beef had a good sweat marination. Overall, the portions aren't very big, but descent meal.

What a great spot for great food and true Italian hospitality. They have music, great ambience and delicious food. A hidden gem and a secret spot to enjoy time w the family or a date.

Went there today to try out a "new" soul food place. Gentleman at counter was nice. I asked for the shrimp and grits but he said they changed owners and they don't sell soul food anymore. We were disappointed and ended up leaving.

The lemon pepper wings are BOMB!! This is my preferred place to get chicken as it's made to order, the wings are small like I like them and they offer a bunch of flavors. It's a hole in the wall type of spot but the chicken is quality and a good price.

Chef Donnell cooks up delicious food at Mama's Kitchen. We ate tender, tasty short ribs and oxtail, bacony collard greens, made-to-order mac and cheese (order this!), and corn bread almost impossible to stop eating from the second it landed on our table.Friendly service, yummy sweet tea, and dessert make this off-the-beaten-path restaurant well worth the visit!

Make sure to try this place before you go waste your morning waiting in line at other more established kitchens.You will be treated with some of the freshest tasting hand squeezed juices, THE BEST COMPLEMENTARY CHIPS AND SALSA YOU HAVE EVER HAD, and the friendliest servers I have met in Nevada. This is truly a family owned and operated place. What more could you ask for?

My family and I were in Vegas for my husbands birthday we wanted some soul food.... I googled and found this place. It's 20 minutes from the strip and a small little family owned place and omg we loved it. The cook greeted us as we walked in. The food was fresh and delicious! Make sure you try the "stupid fries" they were bomb asf!!! I didn't get to take a picture because we smashed them as soon as they came out! We also tried the catfish that was yummy. The shrimp and grits were really good. The fried chicken is good and crispy, I love fried chicken. The kids loved the koolaid. The prices were decent. If you're in Vegas definitely try this place out!Only thing I didn't like is we had to wait over an hour for our food because there is only one cook and there was about 7 of us... but hey it was fresh!
