My bf & I decided to try this place after seeing recommendations on Tik Tok. Bonus: it was so close to us, so that was a plus! We went around 4 pm on a Saturday and were seated right away.We (of course) HAD to get the viral Khao Soi Wagyu & Crab Curry, Lobster & Shrimp Tom Yum Soup, & Papaya Salad.1. Khao Soi Wagyu & Crab Curry - This absolutely lived up to the hype!! They serve it tableside, where they blowtorch the meat to your liking (medium rare for us), & then add a whole bunch of lump crab before pouring the curry over top, finishing up with fried noodles. The curry is rich & creamy, & the combo of the wagyu & crab is *chef's kiss* It came with noodles underneath, so you don't need any rice unless you want it!2. Lobster & Shrimp Tom Yum Soup - This was an expensive item on the menu ($59.95) but we wanted to try it at least once! They also serve this tableside, where they torch the lobster & shrimp before pouring the soup on top. It was absolutely delicious!! I'm a big fan of tom yum so the soup itself was perfectly spicy, with that classic lemongrass tom yum flavor. It came with noodles (which I wasn't expecting) & I don't think it needed it so I wish they didn't add it. This was still really good but I don't think I'd order again for the price.3. Papaya Salad - This was such an unexpected dish for me that I REALLY love! It was so refreshing & a delicious side that helped cut through the richness of the other 2 meals.Love it, will be back!!

What started out at disappointing turned into an incredible meal. Initially, we went to mama surang's for the lobster dish. We called ahead, made reservations as you're supposed to for this dish. When we arrived, they said the lobster was left out and not in good condition so they could not serve us the dish. While I am happy they have health standards, we were very disappointed. However, the other dishes were incredible. The pad Thai was delicious and full of meat, the wings were hot and not overly spicy. The highlight was the blue crab wagyu. It is prepared table side. What a show! The service is great, the place is tiny. If you're not going for the lobster you don't really need reservations as the place was empty for lunch on a Friday. Overall, highly recommend.

Aurgh, the influencers got me again. I should have known when we come at lunch and the restaurant was empty.Wagyu and crab khao soi - noodles weren't fresh, broth was extra sweet and grainy. Crabrangoon - this was a joke. It was air fried and stale. Not fresh.Papaya salad - good texture and balanced flavorHoly crab fried rice - this was 60% yellow onions. It would be great with less onions.Crispy pork - worst I've ever had in my life. Dry, flavorless and all fat. It smells like it was refried in old oil. I ordered hot water and they put it in a water glass with no handle, so it was too hot to pick up the entire meal.So many other better Thai restaurants in Las Vegas. This is one and done for us.$100 for the above items, so price point was ok.

On our initial and most probably last visit to this restaurant we started off with a Thai cucumber salad that was barely okay and clearly paled in comparison to the one I prepare at home.Mama Surang must have been elsewhere on the night of our visit because our order of pad cha, described on the menu as sizzling seafood on fire, lacked both sizzle and fire. It also included far too many pieces of large, ultra chewy squid with an overall flavor profile that is best described as blah. We fared far, far better with our second entree of holy crab and spicy noodle. It was delicious and so abundant that we probably could have, should have, gotten away with just ordering it as entree for both of us.

Well, I'm back home in town. Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The dishes had really fresh ingredients and amazing sauces. The most unique dish was the Wagyu and Crab curry noodles which is made table side. If you're in Vegas and on the mood for Thai food this is a must try. Don't sleep on this place.

TikTok recommended this place for great Thai food. We HAD to try it! We came in and it's a small little place, quaintly decorated in a few items. The server was really nice and she made conversation with us asking if it was our first time there and even joked with us. She asked if I liked spicy since I ordered the pad see ew chicken 5/5 spice. (I like fire) and said that it is a good spice so I was excited! My boyfriend ordered the drunken noodles no spice(since he's a baby). The food came out and was absolutely delicious. The spice is a good spice but not spicy spicy to be a 5/5 more like a 5/10 still good tho. My boyfriend tried it and said that he didn't think it was spicy and even said that next time he will get spice level 3 on his to add to the flavor. Overall this meal is a 8/10! Will come back to try more!

My cousin wanted to hit up this spot when we were in Vegas. We decided to stop here for lunch on a Friday and were seated right away. They had parking in a shared lot. We were able to get a couple of things to share. We started with the beef salad, which was refreshing and limey. Next, we got the crab fried rice. I enjoyed this fried rice. There were tons of crab and the flavors went well together. I think this was my favorite dish here. Of course, you have to order their khao soi when you come here. There are different protein options. We went with the wagyu and crab. When you order the wagyu as a protein, they serve it table side. I liked the consistency of the curry. It hugged the noodles perfectly. The flavors were great, also. In addition, we got the pad see ew and pad Thai. Both dishes were standard. Can't go wrong with any. Overall, I can see the hype. You need to come here if you have cravings for Thai food. This is a spot you must come try.

Good for groups of 2-4 this cozy Thai cafe offers good food and friendly service. The menu has the typical Thai dishes you'd expect as well as a note that the curry is "homemade" .. Though quant this place has charm and if you're in the neighborhood it's worth a visit.

I really enjoy Surang's as it is one of my favorite Thai places in the South West and it's also really close to my house. They seem to have changed branding and appear on social media more often and I'm all for it. One of my favorite go to dishes in this place is the Catfish Delight. It's a fried fish in some curry sauce with red/yellow peppers as well as lime leaves. It's definitely a great dish that you can't find at a lot of Thai places and its packed with flavor. We recently came here for their newer dishes which was the Wagyu Crab Khao Soi and the Lobster Tom Yum Noodle Soup. They were both definitely great dishes and definitely worth a try. If you want something more sour with a little spice I'd suggest the Lobster Tom Yum Noodle Soup. If you want something more creamy and meaty, get the Wagyu Crab Khao Soi. Both are full with great flavor and I would definitely highly recommend either one.The interior of this place is pretty cool as it almost gives you a home type of feel with the dining room table type of chairs. Especially with the cabinet, it makes it feel like you're in someone's home and you're getting a home cooked meal. The service is pretty fast. We also came prior to them closing and they were able to take our order to ensure that they can prepare our meal when we arrive.

Wow, I was so stuffed after eating here! Everything had a lot of flavor and was delicious. We ordered the famous American wagyu & holy crab khao soi beef brisket panang curry and beef salad. All dishes were level 1 spicy. Khao Soi: The wagyu beef was super tender, broth was flavorful and noodles were perfect. Beef Salad: Lots of flavor and the beef was tender. Beef Brisket Panang Curry: flavorful and rich. Comes with rice to eat with. Overall I would come back to try other items but the khao soi was definitely a hit.
