Makers is consistently good. They have an extensive food menu that features plenty of signature dishes. Some of my favorites are the avocado toast, empanadas and the biónico. The drink menu is equally impressive to include adult beverages. The Main Street location is in the arts district and offers plenty of seating. The staff is attentive and welcoming.Street parking is metered and can be tricky during busy hours.

We picked this place due to great reviews and an outdoor patio as we had a dog with us that morning. We were seated quickly outdoors. This is a bustling restaurant atmosphere so you know the food is going to be good!He had the Latin hash and I had a chicken tinga omelet. Both were large portions and played nicely. They arrived about 10 minutes after placing our order and the waitress was nice and on top of our drinks! My omelet was really good and I could only consume half as did my friend with his entree!!M&F is worth the money and deserving of their great reviews!!

Great bevies lead the way to an innovative and tasty menu. Brunch cocktails are fun with distinct flavor profiles true to the Cuban focused dishes. Burritos are huge! Empanadas are crisp and savory and traditional breakfast plates come with great side options like black beans and spicy potatoes. Would love a tapas option so I could have a few bites of everything. The churro waffles are to die for! Order for the table and share.

Good cafe for a brunch. Very casual setup, tables are little small for 4 people, you don't have enough place to keep your ordered food. Good ambiance for breakfast place.Vegan empanada flight comes with 3 empanada spicy mushroom, soyrizo and bean and comes with a side of lemon wedge, corn and salsa. Shells are thin and crispy all were good. But some hot sauce would have made it better.Arepa con queso is different as the cheese on outside and the arepas are really thick, it also comes with spanish rice, beans and grilled peppers which cut through arepa and cheese made it delicious.Chilaquiles came wit egg and avocados, perfectly done.Tomato bisque and crossiant with melted cheese was yummy.Vegan breakfast empanada was filled with potato not part of the flight comes with spicy sauce. Empanada was little oily also not sure they use seperate oil for frying vegan and meat empanada seperate.Espresson flan was yummy dessert bit small and dense comes with ice-cream on top and espresso.Horchata latte was good but honey vanilla latte was just warm even though we asked for extra hot.Overall good attentive service but need mor hands when crowded.

I truly enjoyed the brunch at this restaurant. The food had deep flavors and seasonings. The service was very good and our servers name was Martha she was quite attentive. The overall ambience of the place was eclectic yet downtown chic.

I love coming to Makers & Finders! Their coffee, their food, and their service are all top tier. Martha has been our server the last two times we have been there and she is fantastic.I usually get the chilaquiles with chicken tinga (they do not skimp on the meat here). It's flavorful and delicious. Our party also ordered the churro waffles, the breakfast wrap, and the empanada flight. The empanadas are SO GOOD. As for drinks, I got the dulce de leche latte (hot), and we also ordered a cold brew and an iced latte.I will definitely be back again, we love it here!

I've had food here a few times, and every time it's good but not the absolute best I've had in the arts district, as well as being fairly pricey. That being said, it's a lovely spot and they have a very cute atmosphere, wonderful service, and a fantastic variety of alcoholic drinks and coffee drinks. I had a burrito and fries, and honestly I think it was the driest burrito I've ever been served. However- I ordered it without beans and I think perhaps the kitchen also didn't include the cheese or sour cream, so once I asked for those on the side and added them, it was great! The fries were just ok, but my friend had a fantastic sourdough breakfast sandwich, and we shared a delicious yogurt parfait. For a very dry burrito, however, it was about $20, and the breakfast sandwich was around $15, so again, you can find something comparable and possibly better for a lower price. If you're looking for a cute Instagram brunch place, check it out, and I'd also very much suggest stopping in for a coffee because they have great drinks.

I was more impressed by the service than my brunch items. My horchai was veeery sweet, and my arepa was slightly unusual--instead of a sandwich, the arepa was placed on the bottom. The flavors were there, and it was kind of clunky to eat. We did wind up with some pastries, and those were four-star-worthy as well. A solid, popular spot overall.

I truly like this franchise but not this location. The food lacks flavor and I wasn't impressed with the service. 3 out of 8 ppl ordered the same thing & we all agreed it wasn't good. The manager on duty did not want to comp us the food although we were willing to order something else. I was upset paying for something that was less than mid & they only took 15% off the bill. Not to mention they couldn't get it right with our iced coffee order either . This is not a place I'd revisit unfortunately. Paying for food with no seasoning is unacceptable.

I've been to the other location and I've been wanting to visit this location but they are always busy on the weekends. I finally was able to stop by and get a table quickly. Nice quaint restaurant. It's not bad in size, but there's also patio seating. Service was a bit slow, but she was nice and working hard. She handled all the patrons in the restaurant. I had to wave her down and make eye contact. Food:CoffeeShort Rib Empanada Spicy Mushroom Let me first say the Chimichurri was so good. I didn't even use the other sauce that came with the Mushroom Empanada. Both Empanadas were delicious. I first ordered the Short Rib but then realized I wanted more. Overall, it's a great spot, and next time, I'll try the brunch items. Also, they offer Happy Hour, and I THINK it starts from 2 pm or 3 pm.
