Love the Main St. Everyone treats you well, from the front desk to the wait help, to the maid service. Helps that Boyd helps you along with meals and rooms if you hit a certain level. Okay so, we usually stay at the Cal, but with the elevator situation, We decided to park it in Main St. for the week. 5 count 'em 5 elevators for a smaller tower then the Cal. Never a wait, day or night. On to the food. Besides the Redwood, 777 is the best restaurant between the two venues. The specialty coupon prime rib is the best use of that valuable piece of paper. Other comp winners are the Club sandwich and the "basic" burger (both regular lunch or dinner coupons). It's a shame you can't pay the difference between the burger and the list of add-ons, but the so called "plain" burger is really good. Upgrade to the onion rings for a couple bucks, they are great. For breakfast, you can just go to the buffet. It's wonderful. It's back to free, with a Boyd coupon book again. We were there everyday. Decided on the first day not to get the same things everyday. That is a good plan. Instead of opting for a donut and coffee somewhere for $8, you can have all the donuts and coffee you can handle for free. If you are a Sapphire card and fly Haw'n Air, be sure to get a special card from the Club desk. It allows you to cut the line at all Boyd restaurants. A major plus.Getting a made to order omelet from Manny is not only tasty, it's entertaining while waiting. The wait help is so pleasant and on it. Can't wait to get back there for the April golf tournament!

After hearing so much about the Main Street Staion Hotel/Casino on YouTube, I wanted to head down to see it for myself. I was immediately impressed with its Victorian style theme and numerous antiques and curiosities that could be found throughout the casino. I loved how the hotel lobby was designed to look like an old Victorian train station. It was warm and inviting and sparked me to looked into making a reservation for a future visit. The beautiful Garden Court Buffet and Triple 7 Microbrewery and Restaurant is located here at Main Street Station and a covered walking bridge connects the casino to the California Hotel which is popular with islander guests from Hawaii. If you're in the downtown area of Las Vegas or visiting the Fremont Street Experience , be sure to take a stroll over to Main Street Station Hotel/Casino. It's a hidden gem.

So came for a birthday weekend. Read the reviews that they had remodel and upgraded a bit.so my brother booked a room. Got to the hotel and it seemed OK but this is def not for middle aged people this is for the elderly. Walked to the check I. And was told as if you have do not disturb on your door more than 2 days they will check your room anyways. First thing I thought was older people=Dead! Any way walked into the room and it seemed OK but no sofa 2 queens and a seat. Room was ok but the carpet was disgusting put on some new sneakers with white trim and my shoes were filthy before I walked out of the room carpet looked like it hasn't been vacuum in ages sad part is I k ow it has because saw the staff working every morning. Needless to day didn't walk around barefoot at all!Rest room as so freaking small you have to walk in turn sideways to close the door. The porcelain thrown is almost tight next to the door and you have to reach behind you to get toilet paper! The showere was ok had decent enough room. There is only basic cable which isn't a biggie since we wernt in room very often. Walked back down stairs to gamble and just thought of the movie 6th sense and thought, "I see DEAD people"! The moral is in the dumps everyone seems like they are ready to croak! Sat at slots and gambled at slots for almost an hour and never saw a waitress come my way very disappointing Smh. Never saw 1 slot go off for a grand or even a minimum prize. Always thought old Vegas was better for gambling but I guess not. Guess they didn't want me to gamble cause couldn't even get a drink without going to the bar smh. Anyway the hotel is extremely mid! Beds were comfy at least def not a family hotel this is for an older customer!Probably would never stay here again but the price was decent for 3 nights. Def not picture worth

Had a nice visit here this trip.Pros: Security seemed very attentive and I felt safe here. They guarded the entrances well as well as had an eye on the cashier area very well. When i saw "crazy" people, security already had their eye on them.Buffet was improved, i'm glad that they now serve fresh fruit! In past years it was mostly canned fruit w lots of sugary syrup. In this trip i saw fresh whole apples, pears and cut oranges and honeydew. They also had bananas which they had before occasionally. They also went back to fresh mushrooms in their omelettes, they were using this canned mushroom for years which was yuck. Machines fed pretty well, helped me recoup my losses from other casinos. Cons: Table games are still only open Friday to Sunday from 9 am to 1 am. I wish they opened daily even if only at night.

Old school since 1978. If you enjoy the atmosphere of the past laid out with antiques and beautiful decor then this is the place for you. We didn't stay here but walked around to check out the decor and take in the old school ambiance. The new brewery Triple 7 is a beauty and a hit with beer lovers.

It's the Main reason...I've stayed here several times and love the rooms are nice and clean though it's been several years and this visit we didn't choose here for the main reason that the parking isn't our favorite and the casino just isn't my vibe. With that my first win was here as I was waiting for the rental car desk to open...Enterprise rental car location is found here and with the best price already was a winner but the $200 on my favorite slot already has my mood looking promising.Another reason for the five stars is welcome back buffet! Yup the Garden Court buffet is back open and for the limited time we could use our Aloha Coupons with no additional cost...whaaaat!? The bridge that connects to California hotel makes it super easy to navigate without exiting either building is so convenient and totally took advantage of that during our visit though the casino area remains the same and looked dated always loved it here and happy to see things returning to it's original vibe.Thank you!

When I used to come here pre-Covid, I would come in, gamble, and be on my way. I've never stayed in the room, so I can't comment on any of that. It's a casino, you win and lose, it is what it is. One thing to note, table games are still limited on when they operate.Post-Covid, it's been fairly quiet here, so I'm so happy to see that business is starting to pick up.I stayed at the Fremont, but they advertise a walking tour they recommend to take at Main Street to see antiques and artifacts. I decided to actually look around and I love the history that comes with this casino. The architecture alone is something you don't see anymore in modern construction, so it was beautiful seeing how well they've maintained the history.I ran into a security guard who was so nice and took me to the buffet (that was closed) to show me a stained glass window that is the pride and joy of the casino that they keep it lit 24/7. I wish I got his name because he saw me taking photos of all the cool things and took the initiative to show me more. Such a cool move and really appreciated! There's also a bridge that connects Main Street to The Cal.

We were approached by a security guard at your facility after eating dinner at your buffet. We had my 8 year old niece with us, and she was suffering from a cold and the weather was cold as well and we were told she could not wear the hood on her jacket on her head. A 8 year old little girl with pigtails!!!It could be determined that she was a little girl so there was no question or threat. I saw no signs posted stating that a hoodie could not be worn. My niece was upset as he picked her out.Is this your policy? We were less than we 15 feet from leaving your facility.

First time staying at this casino, we are usually at the California Hotel. So I was a little confused on where the checkin desk was and unfortunately they only have self parking. I'm generally use to doing valet in Las Vegas especially with kids. But, it wasn't that bad checking in. We finally found that everyone usually parks on the back side and that's where everyone waits for Uber/lyft. When we walked in, you definitely know there is a lot of history in this hotel. Checkin was smooth and thank goodness they had bell service to help us with our luggage. When we got to our rooms, we were able to get connecting rooms so that was pretty sweet! The rooms are definitely upgraded and spacious would be a good word to use. This hotel is not as busy as the California which made walking through hallways a breeze! Also, we loved that the all you can eat buffet was downstairs! We made sure to go there daily! Over all, I wouldn't mind staying here again. Much more lax and chill in downtown.

OMG!!!! I was on 4th floor. Nice room, clean...no problem. OMG...the noise!!!! 4th floor is at the same level as the highway, so you get 18 wheelers and cars zooming all night long. Then add the bonus of the train and train whistle whistle. I looked outside. 100 feet from the highway, 50 feet from the active train tracks, and 30 feet view into the multi story parking garage. AVOID if you are not 100% deaf or are used to sleeping on a highway roadside. Feb 2025
