This is my second time staying here after over ten years. It is a good cheaper option for a hotel on The Strip. It's a massive hotel with only a couple of elevators, so you'll be walking a lot. The room was simple but old and worn out. The fridge wasn't even in the cabinet, the walls and bathroom is falling apart and needs renovations. Everything was just older and fading.I booked this through the Marriott app and you get the rewards as a member. However, you have to get the mgm app to check in and get access to the hotel by phone. I have heard that they are going to get rid of this hotel and I would say definitely check it out. It's a decent cheap place to stay.

Booked a trip to Las Vegas in January 2025. We were comped for the room but still had to pay the resort fee. So it was definitely a bargain. Room was clean but like the rest of the hotel it was a bit "dated". The heat didn't work. Unfortunately it got cold at night. Maintenance came to the room 30 minutes after we called. Technician was able to fix the problem. Elevators go up and down at an angle, interesting but they did shake a little bit.Casino was clean and spacious. Nothing really stood out. It was ok.Restaurants were all a bit on the pricey side. We ate breakfast at the Pyramid restaurant. Cheapest thing on the menu besides oatmeal was biscuits and gravy $16. We ended up spending $55 for breakfast (3 people). That was the most economical option at the hotel. The Buffet was $32 per person. Fast food restaurants on the promenade were expensive as well. We never eat fast food that's overpriced. Chicken sandwich with fries and a drink $16. We didn't bother to check Diablos Cantina or Tender steakhouse as we knew that they would be expensive. We wound up eating our meals at more economical places.Souvenir shop was expensive. T shirts started at $32. Cheapest souvenir was a magnet $8.Parking was pretty easy but not free. The price was $20 for our stay. The good thing was that we could park at any other MGM hotel / casino for no charge! Parking at the other MGM hotel/ casinos was $20.Overall it was ok. Not the best but not the worst place to stay.

Overall I enjoyed staying here. There were a few things that I think could be better. The food was good in the food court and the Blue Man Group was fun! 1. A resort fee for me is not good because I don't use the gym and other things the resort fee normally includes except for the internet which has usually been free until Covid. I think a resort fee should be charged if you use the amenities that they are charging you for. I attended BLUE MAN GROUP, had dinner there, checked in at 5:00 and left at 4:00 am. I should not have been charged a resort fee. 2. My room was clean but it could have been cleaner; the bed frame was very dusty and there were no hand towels or wash cloths in the bathroom. The sink would not drain at all. 3. My phone key would not work on the elevator but did work for my room. The lady at the check-in said it was common; please fix this annoying problem. You can't get to your room unless the key works; I was stuck on the elevator for about 5 minutes until someone opened the elevator door to ride to their room. I would stay there again if there was a show there that I wanted to see.

Parking is $35 for the whole day even if you are a resident of Las Vegas with a valid ID. If there is any type of event happening at the stadium they charge a flat fee.

The Luxor Hotel & Casino is a solid choice if you're looking for a fun and affordable stay on the Vegas Strip. The Egyptian-themed vibe is cool, and the rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable--with a decent-sized closet and a bathroom that actually has both a shower and a tub (which isn't always a given in Vegas). The hotel itself has plenty to do--a nice Oasis Pool, a spa, tons of shops, and of course, the casino (because that's where they really make their money). I booked through a third-party deal and paid almost nothing for the room, but just be ready for extra fees like parking and resort charges. That's the trade-off for the low room rates, but honestly, it's still worth it.One of the best perks? The tram--it makes getting to other hotels and shops super easy without dealing with the crazy Vegas traffic. The staff was friendly and professional, and overall, I'd definitely stay here again. If you're looking for a solid spot with good vibes and easy access to everything, Luxor won't disappoint. The front desk staff and the bell hop desk were invaluable to me. Side note: the rooms on the third floor on my side started with 33nn not 3 so a glance I did get a bit confused. They have a bunch of different elevators so you'll have to use the overhead signs at first because the place is huge!

With 2 huge shows in town and on business had to stay at the Luxor. First they claim all rooms are smoke free. Well not really even on the 11th floor. There room was not vacuumed when I get there. The linens smelled dusty. I only got room cleaning 1 day on a 3 night stay. The shower was spotted with mold and all the furniture had seem better days. I hope I never stay here again.

The Luxor hotel and casino will always hold a special place in my heart. I've been coming to this casino for over 15 years, and it evokes a strong sense of nostalgia for me. I appreciate that there haven't been too many changes; everything feels familiar, no matter how long it's been since my last visit. I fondly remember the days of LAX nightclub--such a fun atmosphere with the best DJs! While I miss T&T's Mexican restaurant, the current establishment in its place is also quite delightful. Parking is a breeze at the Luxor, and I'm a fan of the iconic pyramid shape and the one-of-a-kind elevators. The rooms are consistently comfortable, and I always feel safe during my stay. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly. As a local now, I don't come by as often unless I'm catching exhibit like "Bodies," but I truly hope the Luxor never changes. It's a cornerstone of Las Vegas and always will be. I've never had a bad experience here, and I highly recommend it to everyone, especially the younger crowd. This was the place I celebrated my 21st birthday, and I've loved it ever since!

One of the cheaper hotels on the strip. I was able to snag two free nights here so I decided to check it out. Definitely a less popular hotel compared to those in the middle of the strip, but if you are simply looking for a place to sleep and spend the day elsewhere, this place will do the job.I didn't see a lot of children here, which is understandable as they don't have much entertainment for kids to spend the whole day here.

Chose to stay here because of the Michael Jackson and Blue Man Group shows... love the hotel, absolutely stunning inside. Got $50 for my birthday for food at the hotel. The shows were incredible! We were in amazement during the entire MJ show... its a must see! The hotel has lots of food options, quick access to Excalibur, and even Ceasers Palace was only a 15 minute walk.
