Lucky Penny at Green Valley Ranch

Let me start by saying the staff at this location at green valley ranch was fantastic and they always are. We as a family are regulars and love dining here. This time we walked in for a to go order and everything was quick easy and the bartender Manny took great care of us.As we left the handles of the paper bags ripped and the bag smacked hard on the ground. Everything looks good and the hosting staff offered another bag but I carried it out with my arm under the bag and it was much easier.The issue arose once we were home and found the syrup and butter containers had broken from the impact of the floor and had socked into all the bag.I called the location (this is the only issue I had is the number online is not correct and the operator connected me to the red rock location twice before finally getting me to the lucky Penny GVR location). Jack the manager took my call and was so helpful and understood our issue offering multiple potential solutions.I would highly recommend if you are in GvR to come and enjoy wonderful food and service, and know that they are great people working here who continue to prove great service still exists. Corporate just removed the most enjoyable food options from the menu! Lemon blueberry pancakes GONE! The best home fries.. GONE! Stupid business decisions lose customers! Service is always excellent!

12/19/24Had a few hours before heading back to the airport-It's great to see yogurt and granola offerings..Went with the granola and yogurt, side of bacon and a short stack..Server was great, especially when I asked if she could split the yogurt..Food was hot and just enough..

They are actually doing the best they can since they are very short of staff. One customer in the bar said to the bartender "its busy today" and she replied "Stupidly busy", It was sad to hear the staff say that to a customer. Then another staff said " this is shit". My husband and I look at each other like damn. We were actually lucky with our waitress, she was so sweet and always checking on us. Even though you can see that she was very overwhelmed. Food delicious as always! The ambience was ok just wish that they had more people working so the stress wouldn't show.

One of the many options at the fabulous Green Valley Ranch resort in Henderson. Open 24 hours ( it also services the hotel rooms). Diner type but more. It has a bakery display in front with many delish house made choices.From the simple omelettes & burgers to fluffy lemon-blueberry ricotta pancakes, prime rib, fish & chips.Craft cocktails & many coffee options.Play Keno as you eat! ( right next to Keno parlor)Breakfast was great every morning and the $15.99 Chinese Chicken Salad with iceberg, cabbage, crispy chicken, red bell pepper, scallions, mandarin oranges, cilantro, almonds, sesame seeds, crispy wonton strips, rice noodles, sesame vinaigrette was huge, yummy, and well worth the price.Very good food, nice portions, and open 24 hours !

The rebranded cafe at Green Valley Ranch boasts a diverse selection of items on a seemingly well-organized menu. The restaurant itself exudes cleanliness, with gleaming floors and impeccable presentation from what i saw.Although the sandwich I ordered appeared to be from a high-end bistro, it unfortunately lacked any discernible flavor. However, it was evident that quality ingredients were utilized in its preparation.The service was prompt as well so this would make a solid lunch spot for many.

Lucky Penny is a solid option at Green Valley Ranch given it's large menu. I have ordered it both dining in and as takeout to my room. Staff has always been friendly and the venue very clean. The cinnamon roll is a decadent standout item, but share it because it's crazy sweet. Downside is that it's quite expensive, but all things are, especially in a casino.

Ate after spending a night at the Poker Machines at the bar, watching Sunday Night football. Decided to grab dinner at The Lucky Penny, I told my husband that I was having the meal that i would choose if I was on Death Row and had to choose my last meal. Dramatic? Perhaps? I had the Salmon with burned Brussel sprouts and sweet potato puree! It was SO, SO good. Not the best picture but trust me, if this your thing, it was close to heaven. Hubby had the Prime Rib, he said it was good. Service was good. Would return. Ambiance is dining room, not fancy, just very comfortable.

Stopped in for some appetizers with a friend. The bartender was very nice but after ordering my drink, he informed me that he doesn't drink and had never actually tasted his cocktails. Which wouldn't have been a problem except my drink (a cosmopolitan) was awful. We had the calamari and chicken nachos. The nachos were good and filling but the calamari was pretty chewy.

I just stayed at the Green Valley Ranch, and everyone Morning and afternoon I had the pleasure of being served by the wonderful Mai Mai at the Lucky Penny!She truly made my experience 5 stars!Ask for Mai Mai when you go!
