It was a lovely December day when my father in law wanted to visit Area 15 for the first time and I certainly wasn't going to pass on free Omega Mart tickets. We went and did Omega Mart for a few hours before our journey was done (another visit where I still didn't play the game) and it was time to eat some food. For some reason Beast was closed so we headed outside to figure something else out when we noticed the Louie Louie Hibachi & Sushi on the Road truck parked outside, it was destiny. This food truck didn't have a big menu, but it certainly had enough to please the three of us so we ordered and sat down at the picnic tables. I ended up getting the shrimp bowl which came with some veggies and rice and enjoyed it very much. I wasn't starving to death and the bowl size was perfect for what I was looking for. The rice was good, the vegetables were good, the shrimp was solid as well. Overall, Louie Louie Hibachi & Sushi on the Road is a solid enough food truck. The meals were roughly $20 for a single bowl and came out popping hot so you know the food is fresh when served. I'm not opposed to eating this again, but it probably wouldn't be my first pick.

Such good food, and made more impressive by the fact that it's from a truck! I popped by this truck when they were at a business park not far from my work, and opted to try their sushi - the Screaming Onion roll was amazing, huge portion and super-fresh, with shrimp tempura, cucumber, and avocado inside, topped with a mound of crab, grilled onions, and special sauce. I eat a LOT of sushi and this was such a memorable roll!I've been meaning to try them again but haven't seen them around lately. They did open a new full-service hibachi and sushi restaurant (by the same name) in the NW area, need to go by soon to get my fix.

Just good. That's it. I went with the chicken and shrimp. Flavorful and juicy. I upgraded to the fried rice and got some sushi. I wanted the spicy crab but they don't use real crab or spider crab. They gave me the spicy tuna. Compared to their other rolls, this was a bit of a let down. Didn't even take a pic of it. I would definitely, and will definitely go back for some more hibachi! So many different combos to try. Pricing for the hibachi starts at 20$. Maybe a little more than you were expecting but they do the complete set up you would expect from a click and mortar hibachi spot. 2 kinds of sauces, shrimp, rice, and vegetables.

Earlier this week (3 days ago to be exact), in the Las Vegas Group on Facebook, there was a post seeking comment about "If there is one type of food or dessert you'd like to see in a food truck that you haven't seen, what would it be?"My reply caught the attention of one of the moderators, since I didn't reply with any actual food or dessert, just about not wishing to see overpriced ripoff that costs more than an actual brick and mortar restaurant. After a few comment replies, I said sushi, which I thought was not viable given our hot weather, especially during the summer.Guess what? One of my friend posted on her FB feed about a sushi food truck operating out of a Executive Park (commercial business park) parking lot on W Charleston Blvd, near Rainbow. Her uploaded pictures intrigued me, and I decided to drop by sometimes soon.So I ended up at Louie Louie Hibachi & Sushi On The Road truck, after watching Angel Has Fallen (very good movie, and has a funny scene just before the credit started rolling). After studying the menu board, I settled on ordering Hottie Roll and Tempura Crunch Roll. Both were really good, and the ingredients were fresh. I had to exercise self control not to start eating on the drive home, so I can take some pictures first. And it took almost no time for me to kill both rolls, while trying to pick something to watch on Netflix.Anyway, Jose Luis Alvarez, the chef and owner of the food truck, was a chef at Osaka Japanese cuisine on Lake Mead and also Solaro by Wolfgang Puck (Palazzo) before starting his food truck business. After trying his sushi rolls, I know his sushi game is legit. I also love the fact that his sushi rolls are not doused in sauces, like at too many local sushi restaurants here in Vegas.Currently the food truck operates Mon-Thurs from 11am to about 2pm, and Fri -Saturday from 6:30pm to 11pm. Subject to change, as they are just starting their soft opening. They have a Lunch Special menu during the week, and a Dinner menu on Friday & Saturday nights. Close on Sunday.Follow them on FB, Instagram and Twitter under louielouietogo

I stopped here on the way home when they had been parked at an empty parking lot near my home. I feel like I've seen it a few times and wanted to support a small business. Initially I had seen on previous posts that they had sushi so that's why I went. When I parked I saw their menu was a lot smaller and didn't have any sushi on the menu. Either way, I decided to order the chicken plate and upgraded to fried rice. I waited about 15 minutes in my car and when I went to grab the bag I noticed how heavy it was. When I got home and opened the container, it was everything I wanted it to be and more! I was loaded! It had all this delicious fried rice. I added the orange sauce that came with it and it had a mild creamy sweetness which is right up my alley. And It had a large side of perfectly grilled veggies. Needless to say, I couldn't stop eating it. So yes, I will be returning!

We ate here on a whim when a friend we know said they were near our house. Can I just say YUM. We got the Louie Louie and Lisa Lisa rolls. Both were delicious! Highly recommend. We also each got hibachi meals. Shrimp and steak. The sauces they serve with the meals were also fantastic. We were very full and happy. The amount of food you get is great for the price . Cant wait to try more sushi!

What Happen to the Veggies? Stalked this business instagram food pictures for weeks! Drove 20mins to pickup. The rice was oily. My noodles and chicken were dry. Initial bill was $70.44 online and had to pay an additional $8 upon pickup. +$3 for fried rice! +$5 for half rice half noodles. The lobster wasn't cleaned properly. Food looks better than it taste on Instagram.

One of my favorite spots in Vegas. Incredible hibachi. BETTER than any Japanese steakhouse I've had! I haven't had the sushi but the fried rice is what I've been looking for since I moved here. It's amazing! Highly recommend!
