Khao Soi was super salty. Protein picked short ribs were also super salty but at least it was tender and soft.

The service, dining experience, taste is 4.5/5 and the interior aesthetic is 5/5! Gorgeous restaurant inside Red rock Resort Summerlin. We ordered 6 different things. The best appetizer was KOONG SARANG. plump prawns wrapped in bacon and wrapper deep fried. The best entree was TOM KHA SOUP - hot pot. Served and shared with 3 of us, it was so fresh, hot, and sour. The most delicious tom kha and we are tom kha lovers. The worst item was the pad thai. Overcooked noodles and shrimp not good. VERY sweet. Would reserve a table and return anytime.

Went here on 15FEB with a party of 7. The place looks nice but why in name of Buddha do they have a DJ? No one could here anyone talk not even the server. Enough of that I live in Vegas and was forced to go because of our of town guests. I mean why go to an over priced Thai place in a casino unless you're held at gun point? On to the food. I don't know if anyone reading this has ever seen Japanese plastic models of food. It looks amazing and so real but you know if you tried to eat it there would be no flavor. That describes this place exactly. Some 90 year old man must have complained there was pepper in his food once because there is NO, nothing, NADA even a hint of spice in anything we had. Here a list.AppsEggroll - over cooked or dirty oilWontons - sameFried tofu - looked great but no seasoning, just fried tofu so no flavorSaladsChicken Larb - usually a very spicy dish with amazing combinations of spice and herbs. BORING!Thai salad with peanut sauce dressing - usually free at a lunch specialMainsPanang curry tofu - nadaYellow curry chicken - nopeKing crab fried rice - the best dishPad Thai - really u can't make a flavorful Phad Thai.. looked amazing thoughPad See Yu (sp) - come on it's noodles with soy sauce and how can you make it with no flavor?DessertI didn't eat any but on the table was some green thing that got a thumbs down and some pineapple cake thingy that got a thumbs upI didn't have to pay by it was probably a $400 dinner.Go to the food court or take and Uber to an actual Thai place if ur stuck at this ghetto hotel/casino.

Beautiful restaurant. Westernized Thai food flavors. Or maybe we need to just try their original location we've heard so much about. Ask for sauce on the side (for those who aren't into overly salty, overly sweet, overly westernized Thai food flavors). I didn't recognize the dishes to taste like Thai food. It was pretty confusing. Service is really nice! Ambiance and decor is really nice. Both of which I could see bring guest back again and again.Seat are Vegas strip style...squahed a bit close, or not enough space for semi-conversation privacy? My friend's usuals -- Prawns with sauce on the side. One sauce taste straight up like sugar candy (too sweet). - Sea bass with light sauce. This is a dish I'd recommend out of everything we ordered. - Shoulder with sauce on the side. It was tough. And sauce was pretty salty. I suggested trying the Khao Soi...bad idea.- The Khao Soi was super salty. Protein picked (short ribs) were also super salty but at least it was tender and soft. The noodles were undercooked but also mushy at the same time? Never tasted a Khao Soi like this so far. Mocktail was refreshing, and not overly sweet at all. Or maybe the staff took into consideration that we do not like sweet drinks. I definitely can see this space being nice to relax with a nice drink and snack to share at the bar.

First, the ambiance when you walk in..very nice! It won't be complete without the crispy garlic prawns. First time trying the pork belly appetizer and it is a game changer The ribeye nua yum latiem is a must try. The Khao soi duck is also good!Save space for dessert!

I genuinely do not understand the raving reviews. I've been to the OG location years ago and was so underwhelmed I never returned. This visit was prompted by a strong recommendation. I believe some diners are blinded by the pretty decor. While it does create a nice ambiance, in no way does it make me feel like I'm in Thailand - it's definitely meant to please westerners. I do not think those who love this restaurant have had authentic Thai food.We tried an array of dishes from the entire menu to enjoy family style. Nothing was that bad, but also none were good. Service was fine throughout our meal.Tom Kha (shrimp) - Presentation was cool with the fire and all, but we had to send the first one back because it was SO salty, the entire table of 6 had one sip and couldn't drink anymore. They brought out a second one and it was still very salty and this time it lacked any dimension of flavor as well. Unfortunately, we couldn't drink this one either and asked for the soup to be removed from our bill. Tom Kha is one of my favorite soups, so I was disappointed that this happened.Beef Satay - Standard, kind of chewy. Sauce was decent.Nua Nam Tok - Flavors were okay, but the steak was a bit tough for this price range. The fact that the pieces were not cut all the way through did not help.BBQ Prawns - We tried the 2 sauces option first. They were okay, a bit overcooked. One of the sauces was a little spicy and went well, the other was overwhelmingly sweet and sticky. Some of our party did not enjoy this dish and we ordered a second prawn with the garlic scallion sauce. Again, prawns were overcooked. The sauce tasted reminiscent of Chinese cuisine. Nothing to write home about.Chicken Lollipops - Recommended for us to try. This was the worst dish we had. Deep fried drumsticks - the batter was separating from the chicken, the chicken itself was soo dry, but the sauce was decent. We couldn't finish the dish and had them take it away. Som Thum Sea Bass - We thought the sea bass would be served hot and paired with the papaya salad, but it was actually a cold dish. Cold sea bass is strange...the salad was okay though, I thought the addition of green apples was interesting for a bit of sweetness and extra crunch. Sea bass itself was smooth, it was the temperature of the dish that was kind of jarring.Because the fish wasn't what we expected, we ordered the Ginger Sea Bass as well, which was also steamed. This again was a dish with flavors more closely resembling Chinese cuisine. It was one of the better dishes we had, despite being drowned in the gravy sauce.Pad Thai (tofu) - If I closed my eyes, I don't think I could have told you this was pad thai. It was too sweet with a lack of dimension in flavor. It also was too sticky and the entire plate clumped into one bundle of noodles.Khao Soi (chicken) - One of my favorite Thai dishes. The flavors were not bad on this, but the chicken was bland and the noodles were too soft, they tasted soggy and just fell apart in your mouth. We couldn't finish this.Garlic Scallion Scallops - good sear on these, but the entire interior of the scallops was translucent. They tasted practically raw.Pineapple Fried Rice (shrimp) - Okay. Shrimp was overcooked, pineapple pieces were too big. I wouldn't eat it on its own but we had it with curry.Panang Curry (crispy duck) - Was not expecting the duck to have bones. It came with 3 large pieces, which was awkward to share as a table. Would have been better as a dish for one person. This was the best dish we had during this meal. I just wish there was more inside the curry besides the duck.Though some of the desserts sounded appealing, we just wanted to leave at this point so we did not order any. I really wish that the meal was better.

We came here in a group of 6.5 (.5 = baby) on Christmas Day! We used the app Open Table to make our reservation. I don't usually have an issue ordering reservations in that app, but I overheard the hostess telling what I assumed was a supervisor/manager that some of the reservations didn't push through to their system that night. So THAT must be why we had to wait an extra 30+ minutes from our reservation time to get seated...However, once we got to our table, it was nothing but smooth sailing. My mother and father in law both got fish. She, Chilean Sea Bass, and he, the Salmon. They enjoyed their dishes and were grateful for the gentle digestion both afforded. My gluten-free, vegan mother ordered the Vegetarian Sweet & Sour, served with brown rice. She said it was just okay, and the sauce was very thin/light. She's looking forward to trying a different dish next time.My husband got the Fried Duck Khao Soi per our prior research, courtesy of multiple YouTube food influencers. He said it was absolutely delicious, and still craves it when he sees any type of curry dish. His only negative comment was that it can be a bit heavy.I tried more than a few generous bites of the curry noodles too, and I'm thoroughly impressed. However, duck isn't my style, so I think I'll attempt it with soft tofu next time.Speaking of soft tofu, I got the Panang Curry with soft tofu, and it was so creamy and lovely! The presentation had a twirled cream trail separating the curry, as well as a basil(?) leaf topper. Then, of course, the flavors were vivaciously vexing! Curries like this make me forget that I hate coconut, seriously. My son had the Thai Fried Rice, and most of us helped him eat it. It was like next, or rather, secret level fried rice. It was so good! It's hard to go wrong with fried rice, but they really do it right here.Overall we had a great experience at Lotus of Siam on Christmas day, and they did the best they could with the huge crowds and technical difficulties.

This location inside Red Rock Casino is beautifully decorated and feels like you have been transported to Thailand. I have eaten at the other location before since it came highly recommended by a number of people (over the years I've come to gather that Californians like this place and recommend as an off-strip option. This is my personal opinion of course). We were going to Red Rock anyways so this was a perfect chance to visit Lotus of Siam once again.I already mentioned the ambiance and want to say that our waiter was very nice and attentive even though he seemed to be attending to quite a few tables. One really nice thing about the menu is that they had a prix fixe option for $50 including a first, second, entree and dessert courses. Everyone in your party does not need to get the prix fixe and can order a la carte if so desired. We went with both and had the following:Hendry's Lychee Blossom: a mule type drink with a nice light lychee flavor that I enjoyed. It would be very refreshing during the summer.*Prix Fixe Menu*Nam Kao Tod: crispy rice with cabbage spears. Very good and crisp but wish there were more cabbage spears.Tom Kha Shrimp: one of my favorite soups with coconut milk, lemongrass and shrimp. Perfect flavor and definitely could have eaten more.Pad Thai Shrimp: a popular Thai noodle dish so I see why it was on the prix fixe menu. This dish was just ok and below my expectations. The flavor wasn't quite right and the noodles a little sticky. Warm Thai Spiced Chocolate Cake: a great ending to the meal with this warm dessert which was the perfect size after all that food and a side of coffee ice cream. *A La Carte*Yellow Curry Chicken: this curry was delicious with what looked like coconut milk floating on top. Just the right spice and flavors eaten over white rice. Overall it was another good experience, and the location is great for other pre or post dinner entertainment at Red Rock Casino.

Ambiance was great and with a nice bar it was a bisy night. A bit slow in service. We have to constantly call for our server of for someone to help us. Food was good but price was on a higher end. Great food presentation. It is indeed an upscale restaurant.

Already the rare Las Vegas recipient of a James Beard Foundation Award, Chef Saipin Chutima named Best Chef: Southwest in 2011, Lotus of Siam needs no introduction - though its recreation on Flamingo and fanciful digs at Red Rock have led to disputes about both the heritage and legacy of Lotus going forward.Having visited the icon of Thai Food several times prior Thursday evening found the concept from Tao Group owner Lou Abin at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa as busy as it is beautiful with improved service.Built out of former Buffet space, lanterns and hanging vines creating a vibe across spaces from bar to the back, it is with a truncated version of Chutima's Northern Thai traditions that Lotus at Red Rock pays homage to the original with service more appropriate to Summerlin.Requesting everything level five of ten, Thai Coffee and signature Riesling a prudent choice for those looking to quell the fire, Dinner began with hot Wonton Soup alongside Issan Sausage that is snappy, sour and worth every word of praise. Not forgetting better-than-expected Egg Rolls or Nam Prik Ong teaming with Chilis, Vegetables and Pork Rinds used as delivery mechanisms, Garlic Crispy Prawns continue to earn "Mom's Highlights" status with edible Shells still on and varying textures from bite to bite. All in on Noodles and Curry, Beef Pad See Ew well executed but lost in the wake of two styles of fried Rice, any residual grains are well-utilized in sopping up the Sauce from Crispy Duck Chu-Chee or Panang Curry with medium rare Ribeye.

This place charged me the wrong amount. After I informed the waitress of the error and requested that she void the transaction and rebill me, she said they could adjust it at the end of the day. I foolishly believed her and allowed them to charge my credit card again. The next day, I reviewed my credit card statement and noticed two charges that totaled the correct amount. However, a few weeks later, while reviewing my statement again, I discovered that I had been charged double charged.I called the restaurant and requested to speak with a manager. The employee I spoke with asked me to provide my information and said they will get back to me. However, I never received a call.I am now disputing this charge with my credit card company.
